I was skeptical to try a ramen place in this area because ... not sure how good it could be considering we have some of the best ramen in San Diego. This place has a small patio, and although they had patio heaters, none were working. It is an order ahead, then sit style establishment and please be prepared for a long wait. We waited almost 40 minutes on a Tuesday night for our food. I really enjoy this place for ramen, although it's pretty far from our place. Since opening, it's gained so much popularity that on busy nights, you may be waiting 25-30 minutes. Seating is limited but they do have indoor and outdoor seating; spaces apart, of course. We normally get the Tonkotsu and customize it. I prefer the thicker noodle over thin because it gives it density. The soft boiled egg is my favorite and it's always cooked to perfection. The times we've been here, they have always gotten our order wrong. LOL. Nothing major, but it seems inevitable when they get super busy. For example, I specifically asked for Cha-shu, corn, and a boiled egg. No greens. They put onions on it. My experience was truly awful. The staff is uneducated and inexperienced. I ordered my food & drinks. Paid. Then was told they didn't have the beer they sold me available and if I would like to change it . I said sure I'll switch to Modelo. Then she came back to let me know Sapporo would be an extra dollar, I told her I didn't ask for Sapporo, I said Modelo. Then she came back to tell me Modelo was also a dollar. So I gave her the dollar. She went back to the register and I could see her ringing up the dollar and laughing. That's when I got annoyed because she came back again to say it was another $0.07. My fiance and I went on Sunday for lunch. It's a nice place we got greeted as we entered. Patio dinning is open we ordered and sat outside. The menu is simple they have custom ramen bowls for $12+ (add-ons are $1 more). I love the fact that they have gluten-free and vegetarian options. We ordered the spam masubi and the guy taking our order recommended the takoyaki (apparently a popular appetizer). I also ordered a custom ramen: tonkatsu with thin noodles, cha-su with bean sprouts, shitake mushrooms and soft boiled egg. Our orders came out fast waited no longer than 10mins. Nice food presentation the ramen came out hot and they had it on a tray with utensils and napkins. The ramens broth was full of flavor it was really good and not to mention the egg was boiled perfectly. They were generous with the noodles. The spam masubi was good they added shredded pork with teriyaki sauce it really complimented each other with the sauce being sweet and the spam salty (pretty genius). We were not a fans of the takoyaki the texture was a bit much and slimy. Overall, good experience the ramen was good, so was the spam masubi, service was fast and great they also gave us a container full of condiments. The drinks are self serve. I have been searching for a good ramen spot in the valley and finally found one that's comparable to LA ramen. My partner and I came for a lunch date and ordered the tonkatsu ramen and the broth was super flavorful. If you like spicy food, ask for the chili oil on the side like I did. The fried rice was 4/5 with a good portion size. Don't pass on the passion fruit lemonade either or you'll regret it. Definitely a must if you are in the area. read more

These people have figured out how to roll out the ramen for you! Just pick your broth and your noodles and any toppings and you're set! Have a seat and wait for the ramen to come to you! In another ramen spot we frequent in Hawaii, my son and I typically get a large version of the black tonkotsu with additional noodles and extra egg and pork. We tried the regular tonkotsu here and it was more mild of course (not having the black garlic or spice), but pretty flavorful. The noodles were a perfect texture. The char siu was thinner than we're used to, but also fairly flavorful. We got extra soft boiled eggs (my fave) and those were spot on. We added cilantro, which we are used to coming still on the vine. Well, they chop it here, so if you're not used to that DON'T ask for the cilantro, or ask for just a little - we got quite a lot. We also got some takoyaki, which were DELICIOUS and cooked absolutely perfectly. My cousin and her husband split the chicken fried rice, which came in a giant mound, and they said was very good. My husband got a salmon donburi - also quite massive - that he could barely finish. He said it was delicious! We tried the Japanese soufflé cheesecake, which was quite lacking in the jiggly department, but was tasty otherwise. This place is in a strip mall so tons of free parking. It was located about 15 minutes from the Fresno airport, so the perfect distance for us visitors. If you're on the hunt for a solid bowl of ramen or some stellar takoyaki, come here! read more

The food was good. We had the loaded gyoza and a custom ramen. Both came out quickly and the restaurant was well kept and clean. Flavor-wise we're losing a star because the ramen was a little bland. The spicy miso wasn't that spicy and the steak we got was a little plain. Also, the thick noodles are not actually that thick. All together, the flavors were good and the gyoza was great. By far this is one of the best places to eat at in area because of the intricate seasonings in each piece of the dish. I called ahead to order for the first time I've never been there the waitress was a little patient to explain to me what colors inside of the dish. When I got there in the same way just because she wasn't patient to confirm that it was seafood she said it's a number five again to clarify because I have never eaten there before she was not happy. Tons of parking in the lot as it shares the lot with a number of other businesses. When you walk in there are two options. You can order from the counter and pay then take a seat. Or you can sit, scan the QR code, order and pay. The food is brought out on trays and to your table, the takoyaki had a lot of dough then most places so it was ok to me. Then the ramen wasn't anything special even for being typical ramen. I so don't think I would've gone out of my way to come here. Overall it was ok. Ramen was legit and the portions were large! That means leftover ramen for breakfast, it's a win win. I've been here twice for dinner and it can get pretty packed so the wait can get up to 30 minutes. I got the tonkotsu ramen spicy and it's delicious, especially for chilly days. I've also tried their takoyaki and it was alright; it felt like the insides of it were room temperature and seemed like it wasn't brought out as fresh. I've been here before but have never tried the ramen. It was delicious. We had the cheesy potato croquettes to start. They were soooo good. I've had them before so I already knew I was going to enjoy them. Definitely one of my top 5 favorite appetizers around. I had the custom ramen. I had the shoyu broth with thick noodles. Cha su and spam for the protein. For the topping I chose bean sprout and shiitake mushrooms and a soft boiled egg to top it off. The broth was delicious. I did think when it said thick noodles it would be udon noodles though. They were more ramen style but still very good. My dining guest had the Spicy Miso Ramen but non spicy.
