Fresh, flavorful, and some of the best we've had. What really made our visit special, though, was the experience. We enjoyed great conversation, and one of the highlights was seeing the owner's son proudly show us the crab he had caught. It gave us a glimpse into the local fishing life and made the meal feel even more authentic. Great food, warm hospitality, and a genuine local atmosphere made this one of the highlights of our Oregon trip. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Florence.

But a lot of time I think that comes down to preference. It took a long time to get our food. It was crowded and our server was clearly doing her best. The food looked good. The server said she was waiting for steak knives, so my husband just used the regular butter knife for his steak. The steak was a little tough and lacked flavor. Would have added salt and pepper to it if there was shakers on the table, but didn't want to ask for them. The fish was nice. I didn't really get "crab encrusted". I'm sure it was there but really it just tasted like breaded and fried halibut. The rice and salad were delicious. Overall everything was good. I wouldn't say excellent. And for the price, I would have expected better. But it wasn't bad. There looks to be a lot of other great restaurants that might have a little nicer atmosphere that we would try before coming here again. Overall, I would skip the steak. The restaurant was pretty clean and tables were turning over quickly. They have their own dedicated parking lot, but if you can't find a spot there is also plenty of street parking.
