We got in line around 1 PM one day- and were some of the last people served because the food ran out. Vito is very good about letting you know if he thinks you might not get a sandwich, but we saw a few disappointed faces waiting "just in case" who missed their chance for a Philly. Yohe ( I know his name started with a Y) greeted us. There was a gentleman named Cesar that was shadowing him for training. They both grabbed our drink order while my mom and I were checking out the menu. I did creep out the menu the night before. You can not not be curious over these famous "heavenly hot cakes". When you add the word heavenly to hot cakes, you know they are going to be hella good! So for breakfast, I got the Big breakfast which comes with a little bit of everything. My mom got French toast that came with a side of eggs and bacon. My plate was no joke! I got a good helping of potatoes smothered in country gravy, a chunky sausage link, bacon, ham, eggs and 2 fluffy pancakes. I'm so happy I didn't get the toast. I was offered to have my toast turned into French toast and as much as I wanted to say yes, I declined. I had enough carb options with my huge stack of pancakes and breakfast potatoes. I knew the French toast would put me over the edge. My potatoes were perfectly cooked! Crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. The country gravy on top of my potatoes was savory and thick. I normally don't like sausage gravy but this one was really good! My eggs were fried hard, just the way I like them. My bacon was crispy. I do like my sausage links to be overcooked and I forgot to tell my server about having it overcooked. The sausage was hearty and big! It just needed a little more browning for my liking. I did have a couple bites of my ham, I was just super full to finish it. Now, the pancakes were topped tier! They were fluffy! Airy! Topped with a hefty chunk of butter. The pancake syrup was warm. The combination of everything listed above made eat bite of pancake magical. I ate half of my stack and had to tap out. I really could have finished that whole plate of pancakes but I know my stomach would be so upset with me on my 5 hour trip home. What I appreciate most about this joint is how clean it is! I love that the syrup containers, salt and pepper shakers, hot sauce, ketchup and creamers are all cleaned and put in the back after each table is done. It's amazing how many condiment containers are so dirty but not here. I feel safe using thier condiments here. Especially with my new kidney and having to be extra precautious with communal things, that was one thing I didn't have to worry about today. The service is great! The pancakes are legit good. The venue is clean and nicely ran. My meal was fantastic! I look forward to bringing my husband here in April so he can try the Heavenly hot cakes. He loves pancakes and I know he will love these ones. And I will most definitely have to have my hot cakes Dubai chocolate style! Truly a must try. See you in April!

My husband and I are so happy that Martha and crew are back. Cannot say enough about the food and the service. The atmosphere is friendly and you are treated like family. If you go for breakfast, lunch or dinner the food is great and reasonably priced. Remember to check out the daily specials and do not forget the dessert. Martha's Mud Pie and Yellow cake are to die for. I highly recommend Ramblin Roads Restaurant. And yes they do have a kids menu. read more

I ordered the Mini Breakfast thinking it would be a smaller, more manageable portion...and it was STILL huge! This time I got the hash browns deep-fried, which were absolutely delicious, along with sausage links, an egg and, of course, another scone. I ate a little more than half of the scone and was so full I could barely eat anything else! I ended up packing the rest to send home with Haley, and she enjoyed it for breakfast the next morning. The service was very good, especially considering how incredibly busy they were. They were turning tables over constantly, and the restaurant was full of families. I loved seeing all the little kids sitting around the tables and families enjoying breakfast together. It had such a fun, welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. An issue I have with some of the other locally owned cafe around is their menus are too large and varied with items to stay away from. With Sills however, their menu is much smaller, more focused and everything is good. They are most known for their breakfasts with the highlights being their pancakes and scones which are definitely worth the hype. My take on their scones might be a controversial. Sills scones are good but the best scones around are found at Beezs Cafe in Roy. Sills Cafe is definitely worth a visit. You wont be disappointed with anything you get.
