The service was AMAZING! super super nice and quick. I got the raspberry cannoli crepe which was melted and not filled well but still tasted great. My husband got the monster burger and LOVED IT two smashed steak burgers. And for only $10 including fries totally worth it

My online order pickup time was 12:38. I got my order at 1:00pm. Not convenient at. I love IHOP but you guys are missing the mark with the wait times.

It pains me to write a bad review as I'm a business owner and I know how important these are to a business. However, I would be doing my community a disservice if I didn't after my horrible experience here tonight. I ordered a BLT and it I couldn't eat it. The bacon was burnt and hard like it's been sitting out on the counter for a while. Showed the server the bacon in my sandwich and she walked back within 30 seconds with new bacon which means the bacon has been sitting out on a counter. What a waste of $9! I'm never going to IHOP ever again.

We did peep out some breakfast joints around the area the night before and Penny Ann's Cafe popped up. The reviews were good so we decided to head over after we grabbed gas. This joint is conviently next to Costco so we didn't have to venture far too find it. Walking in, we were instantly greeted by the hostess. We were sat at a booth by the breakfast bar. Yohe ( I know his name started with a Y) greeted us. There was a gentleman named Cesar that was shadowing him for training. They both grabbed our drink order while my mom and I were checking out the menu. I did creep out the menu the night before. You can not not be curious over these famous "heavenly hot cakes". When you add the word heavenly to hot cakes, you know they are going to be hella good! So for breakfast, I got the Big breakfast which comes with a little bit of everything. My mom got French toast that came with a side of eggs and bacon. My plate was no joke! I got a good helping of potatoes smothered in country gravy, a chunky sausage link, bacon, ham, eggs and 2 fluffy pancakes. I'm so happy I didn't get the toast. I was offered to have my toast turned into French toast and as much as I wanted to say yes, I declined. I had enough carb options with my huge stack of pancakes and breakfast potatoes. I knew the French toast would put me over the edge. My potatoes were perfectly cooked! Crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. The country gravy on top of my potatoes was savory and thick. I normally don't like sausage gravy but this one was really good! My eggs were fried hard, just the way I like them. My bacon was crispy. I do like my sausage links to be overcooked and I forgot to tell my server about having it overcooked. The sausage was hearty and big! It just needed a little more browning for my liking. I did have a couple bites of my ham, I was just super full to finish it. Now, the pancakes were topped tier! They were fluffy! Airy! Topped with a hefty chunk of butter. The pancake syrup was warm. The combination of everything listed above made eat bite of pancake magical. I ate half of my stack and had to tap out. I really could have finished that whole plate of pancakes but I know my stomach would be so upset with me on my 5 hour trip home. What I appreciate most about this joint is how clean it is! I love that the syrup containers, salt and pepper shakers, hot sauce, ketchup and creamers are all cleaned and put in the back after each table is done. It's amazing how many condiment containers are so dirty but not here. I feel safe using thier condiments here. Especially with my new kidney and having to be extra precautious with communal things, that was one thing I didn't have to worry about today. The service is great! The pancakes are legit good. The venue is clean and nicely ran. My meal was fantastic! I look forward to bringing my husband here in April so he can try the Heavenly hot cakes. He loves pancakes and I know he will love these ones. And I will most definitely have to have my hot cakes Dubai chocolate style! Truly a must try. See you in April!

Everyone is so friendly and the service is quick. I remark every single time about how quick they are to serve us our food. They have remembered my family and bring us our drinks without even needing to ask. Their food is delicious, and we appreciate the authenticity. If you haven't been, and aren't near by to partake in their amazing food regularly, you HAVE to try the Philly asada omelet. You won't regret it!! I saw a comment about the restaurant being dark, but the lighting seems great. Anything much brighter would probably upset my eyes, especially early in the morning (as that's when we typically go). Someone also mentioned the wait is long. The restaurant isn't huge, and if you go at a time when everyone else is also going, usually any time after 9, then of course it'll be busy. Go early and it'll be faster, but either way, the wait is completely worth it. Thank you, to the Our Kitchen Cafe family for being so kind to me and my family. We appreciate your business and hope you continue to succeed!

Let me share what I did like first: We enjoyed the vibe inside, everyone felt like they knew each other and knew the staff and that's exactly what we love about Mom + Pop Shops. We ate in the morning and the light was shining pretty gnarly into the glass windows, I appreciated that they had a make shift covering that they put up to help with the amount of sun that is let in. Anything is better than nothing for sure! Also, I really liked the hashbrowns- that's where this place gets a star for me because I hateeee when breakfast/brunch places do the home style potatoes instead of these yummy shredded hashbrowns. I asked for extra crispy and I felt that they delivered. Now let's get into why I am sad to leave this review- but I have to be honest if we had a choice between this place and Penny Ann's it's going to be Penny Ann's no contest. This establishment is very small (about 8 tables) and not well kept. There is dirt, dust, and cobwebs everywhere and if the dining area is not well kept- it makes me very nervous about what it looks like where my food is being cooked. Also as a heads up- the French Toast I'm almost 100% sure is sourdough. We did not know that and there was no writing saying that was the case so it was unfortunately an unpleasant surprise. Also while I was eating I bit into this hard wire/string thing and that immediately met my last straw and unfortunately we decided to ask for the check and our family left. Unsatisfied and unsure why this restaurant had such high ratings. Super bummed- I honestly don't think we will come back until I hear that they've made improvements on the cleanliness of the establishment.

The in-restaurant menu gives the option of ordering fries, onion rings, or a cup of soup for an extra charge ($4.25 for soup). So I ordered a cup of the French onion with my burger. My wife ordered the Monte Cristo crepe with the French onion. I really enjoyed the burger, which was spicy and flavorful. My wife did not like the Monte Cristo crepe, which was lacking in texture and not very tasty. Apparently a Monte Cristo doesn't work as a crepe? The French onion soup was a glutenous ball as the bread became incredibly soggy in the broth. But the broth itself was flavorful. The food was mixed, but the bigger problem came when it was time to pay the bill. I was shocked when it turned out to be almost $20 higher than expected. I was charged $12.95 for each soup. I pointed out the discrepancy and the server took one of the soup charges off the bill. I pointed out that this was still an overcharge based on the listed price of $4.25 on the menu, but apparently the "cup of soup" on the menu did not include French onion, which is something that should have been clearly shown on the menu or at least explained by the server when I ordered it. Not wishing to argue the matter further I paid the bill with an abbreviated tip and left. Given the lack of communication and the exorbitant prices charged for middling food, we will not be back.

After he explained it, it made sense. But the menu was not clear that it just included one specific type of each item listed, and you didn't get a choice. It was awkward when he teased us for thinking we could get choices at the listed price. We felt a little out of place the whole time we were there, but we would go back now that we understand how the menu/food works, since it was good. Oh yeah, we were also confused about the chips and salsa and the way things were set up here. They bring you an empty bowl and then you squirt the salsa out of a bottle (like a ketchup bottle) into it. No one explained any of these weird things, and we kind of just looked around.
