Sunny was not there on our arrival, but we were warmly greeted by Vishal, who was great in explaining the hotel amenities and the neighborhood options to us. He also carried my luggage upstairs. Our breakfast was prepared for us personally at the time we wanted to eat, so we were able to get on our way each day. There was a menu of options which included a full English breakfast. There were cold choices of pastries, yogurts, fruits, cereals, and milk. Beverages included orange juice, milk, tea, and coffee. Shan, Vishal and Josh tended to all our needs over the weekend we spent there. We traveled by tube, and as Sunny recommended, we both bought Oyster passes which discounted our travels. At the end of our trip we were able to have the remaining balance on our cards refunded at Heathrow. The walk from the tube is short. You leave the tube station and go left. You will cross a little side street and the Crompton Guest House will be the second walkway. It would be a great spot for a business traveler who needs to get out on an early morning flight as Heathrow is only 15 minutes or so on the tube. If you have rented a car or if you live in England and are flying out from Heathrow, it could not be more convenient than to spend a night before traveling as they offer free parking for a specified number of days. We used the tube to go to the airport but they do offer transportation. As we did not use it, I cannot remember what the fee is. Our room had a twin and a double bed, both with reading lights, and both very comfortable. We both slept well and found the room to be very quiet. There were two night tables, a desk and chair, a flat screen tv, and a small refrigerator. There were plenty of mirrors in the room and chandeliers throughout the guest house. The bathroom had a tub/shower combination. Large dispenser bottles of hand soap and lotion were by the sink and in the tub was bath gel, shampoo, and conditioner. Everything is monitored by CCTV and lights have motion detectors so you are never wandering in the darkness. We felt very safe staying there. I would recommend Crompton Guest House to friends and family. It was a nice place to stay. Service was extremely good and the staff were very focused on ensuring that guests had an enjoyable stay.

The breakfast was really nice and the room very clean! I was even given a charger adaptor since I only had the US type with me! Very polite management and staff! It's literally on your right hand as you exit Hounslow Central station so it really makes it a plus for layovers between trips! Free WiFi and full English breakfast!

Positives: *…read moreExcellent location less than 10 minutes drive to Heathrow Airport * Large rooms * Big comfortable beds * Nice amenities including complimentary Tea & Coffee, Hairdryer & TV * 30 minutes free WiFi. Additional at £3 charge per day. Negative: * $7 charge for parking. If they feel the need to charge for the privilege of parking in their car park (there is nowhere else locally) then including it in the nightly charge would be preferred rather than a not so nice surprise when you arrive. Additional information: * Meal deal offered at £22 per person which includes a three course dinner with drink and an all you can eat breakfast. * Shuttle to the Airport available. We booked this hotel at short notice and were surprised at the size of the rooms here - they are a very decent size which being so close to the airport is usually quite hard to find. The rooms are also very clean and nicely laid out with a large computer desk and armchair. Bathroom is a little small but had a bath as well as a shower and a dispenser containing Imperial leather Shower Gel (no Shampoo & Conditioner though). Staff are friendly and it's reasonably priced, especially taking into consideration the location.

If I could, I would like to live here. The breakfast the next more was all perfect, none of the food was going funny from being out for a long time as the staff kept an eye on it. There was a huge variety that you could pick from so there was something for everyone.

The marketing for this hotel is good but the experience less so. The room I was given was very big,…read morebut there is not much in it, and what there is looks a bit tired. Wallpaper is stained, carpet has marks on it, and generally looks like it could do with a makeover. The gym is small. They do have a pool and sauna which closes at 8pm. What shocked me the most was that i went down to the cafe to buy a chocolate bar - a double decker - it was priced at £1.50 and the. Added a service charge on top. A service charge for what? Handing me the bar? I questioned it but was told that it's standard practice. That's absolutely ridiculous and you should be ashamed of yourselves for doing that. The best thing about this hotel is its location; just one stop on the tube from Heathrow airport.

TRAIN YOUR DESK HELP. Someone stationed at the concierge desk had no idea what the Elizabeth line was on the Underground. Really? RETHINK MEALS. Breakfast opens at 6:30. Why, at 7:10, are there no plates and why are people killing each other for cutlery? If I were running this hotel, I'd be completely embarrassed. How can you possibly operate a hotel this close to the airport with THIS level of incompetence. Appalling. Highest recommendation to avoid.
