I come here only when I have to grab something!!! It's usually super packed because Granada high school is right next to it. Many parents come pick up their child here and it's super busy!! Also, kids hang outside at this location. I came today to get keto friendly tortillas for my dinner. They do always have everything you need though. It's always fully stocked here. It's fast and good service as well. I always go to self checkout only!!! I recommend. The ambiance is nice and it's clean inside! The restroom was also clean as well. This grocery store is not what it used to be. Carts are often unavailable, products are frequently expired on the shelves, and the overall customer experience has declined significantly. This year alone, I have purchased a product that appeared fine in the store but had visible mold inside once opened at home. I've also purchased stale chips that had to be returned for a refund. I also didn't realize they were selling expired cat food until I checked the date before purchasing (glad I did check beforehand). Between expired food, poor product quality, and constant stock issues, shopping here has become more frustrating than convenient. The frozen food aisles rarely have the items I specifically come in for, and when I ask employees for help locating products, many seem unfamiliar with where items are stocked. The staff generally appear disengaged, which only adds to the negative atmosphere. What makes this even more disappointing is that nearby stores like Sprouts and Smart & Final provide a much better shopping experience, but at nearly double the cost. I shouldn't have to pay that much more just to avoid expired products and poor service. The one bright spot is the sushi department. The two employees preparing sushi are consistently hardworking, professional, and deserve recognition for the effort they put into their work. Overall, this store has become overpriced, poorly managed, and unreliable. After years of shopping here, I've watched it decline dramatically, and the issues have become too significant to ignore. read more

I have been coming to this Ralphs location for a very long time. I was here a few weeks ago shopping for family, and I ordered some fresh fried chicken, Potato Salad, and some potato wedges. I really like how they have the food in the deli area set up. They have a Starbucks inside here. Its not hard to find items here. Produce area is clean and spacious. This location now only ever has one line open. I feel so bad for the cashiers. They purposefully way understaff these stores now to further maximize profits at the expense of the customers. I have made it a point in 2025 to shift almost all of my grocery shopping to either Trader Joe's or Costco. Both of which have cashiers, and fair pricing. I encourage you all to vote with your money. I've been shopping at this Ralph's for the 17 years I've lived in the neighborhood. I roughly estimate I've spent a quarter of a million dollars at the store in that time. About a year ago they put all of the medicine and personal hygiene products in an aisle and blocked it at one end. I made it a point to not go into the aisle due to its inconvenience. Today I needed a protein shake (per Dr.'s orders) and realized it was deep in the medicine aisle. I went to get a four-pack, put it in my cart and headed to checkout with my $250.00 cart of groceries. I was stopped as I left the aisle and made to feel like a criminal. The guy said I had to complete a separate transaction for anything taken from the aisle. I left it on the counter and proceeded to check out with the rest of my cart. I get that people steal stuff... but there has to be a better way to deal with this than treating long time customers like criminals. I will NEVER buy anything from that aisle and as soon as I'm done writing this review, I'll order the shakes on Amazon... for less money. While I'm on the site, I'll see what else I can have delivered to my door. read more

I was today to buy the family style bottle drink that was in sale $1.50 . When I checked it was full price , I asked nicely the reason from cashier ( Andrea ) she told me you have to buy max 5 bottle then I selected 5 then with another thing should be total $14 but was $25 I asked please tell me why she told me I don't have time go to reception. Now that they are done with the work inside & they've figured out their supply chain, this location is back to how it used to be. For awhile it was rough. Most of the parking taken up by building supplies, empty shelves for basis, & a messy interior. It wasn't fun. But now that those days are in the rear view mirror, this location is great. The store is clean, they keep things stocked, all employees are nice and helpful, and the produce is good quality. I will say, however, that if you come in the afternoon on random weekdays, the checkout lines can get long. They often just have 2 checkouts open (I'm assuming just due to the staffing shortage) so that means you can anticipate spending a good chunk of time just waiting to pay for your goods. This is the branch we go to. It is a walking distance from our apartment. We can find almost everything that we need. I recommend coming early - less people and most of the items are replenished and organized. Staff are friendly and accommodating. For the self check out - it is sanitized after each customer. They provide anti bacterial wipes and hand sanitizers at the entrance. It makes you feel secure that they are prioritizing their customers health and safety. read more

While I do love shopping local, I love my neighborhood Ralph's! It's such a close walk, so I'm in there everyday. While prices have gone up almost everywhere we shop, I still find the deals here to be the best for groceries. But my favorite part is the employees, I love seeing the same people everyday that not only look like they're trying their best to make work fun for themselves, they are always happy to help anyone! And if you do not have the Ralph's app, you are missing out on the best deals! Not a big fan of Southern California supermarkets, overall. The interesting ones tend to be super expensive, and the "reasonable" ones mostly lack character. Last Saturday, while at our daughter's helping prepare food to be frozen for a party, after we finished our grandson wanted to go to the store. He had in mind ice cream sundaes, so the two of us ran over to Ralphs. Once inside I was pleasantly surprised at the colorful, cheery environment. It was the opposite of overly white and bland interiors at other grocery stores. By color choices alone, it felt more welcoming and intimate. There was a lot going on visually in certain departments, but my overall impression was favorable. With Adored Grandson's knowledge of the store we were able to locate toppings, including bananas and fresh Driscoll's strawberries. (We've been to their farms on Ventura County Farm Day.) On to the frozen section for ice cream options, which were legion. Checkout was smooth for us, but might be a nightmare for parents with younger children, as there's a gauntlet of temptations for last-minute boys near the checkout stands. I just had one of the worst shopping experiences I've ever had and I went through a self check out line so that says enough. There was an open self check out register and I began checking out my items. I was then approached by a Ralph's worker by the name of Annabelle who insinuated I was stupid because I did not notice there were items on the check out bagging area. She did not ask me to move or to stop using the cash register or communicate it was closed. The screen clearly said open which is why I started using it. She then again repeated if I could not see the items in the area. I attempted to reach out to a manager as I felt disappointed with this customer service experience. Unfortunately the manager was on a break and they also did not answer their phone. I will be calling Ralph's customer service and the store again and will update my review with the response. This store has prices that are higher than any other store in the region. By at least six percent, sometimes more. They also seem to have an aversion to hiring cashiers, because they never have more than two of their five check stands open, ever. Sometimes they have no check stands open at all, and you have to check and bag your own groceries after paying that extra high price for them. read more

A great grocery store to shop at and its also in a good area. I stopped by this Ralph store after work today to pick up some quick vegetables for my dinner. Being the day before Thanksgiving, they were busy than usual but it wasn't too bed especially with self checkout now. This Ralph is in a big plaza so finding parking is easy but most people are lazy and don't put the shopping carts back at its destinated spots. I was able to find all the vegetable I wanted and the staff was very friendly. I used their pickup service before during covid and its a hit or miss depending on who is picking out the items for you. read more

This is by far the worst Ralphs I've ever been to. I have been a loyal Ralph's shopper my entire adult life. And I don't come to this one unless I'm in the area and I need to grab something I really need. Almost every single time I come here to grab that one thing I actually need they're always out. How does the market run out of a vegetable? How does a Market run out of a cut of meat? How does a Market run out of chicken? I just don't understand what the problem is at this Ralph's. I have a theory that it's just that the staff is too lazy to go in the back and restock so when I ask, they say "oh we are out." It's a good thing that I don't judge Ralph's by this one store. Don't do curbside pick up from Ralph's. They don't give a crap about you or your groceries. The grocer (will neither name as a male or female) literally put my groceries like someone just threw it in the back of the trunk without actually laying it (no exceptions - milk, eggs, etc). I had to wait 30 minutes in the car on a hot valley day. I came on time by the way. On a 2-3pm slot I came at 2:00 sharp. It should NOT take longer for a grocer to bring my groceries versus me (a non professional when it comes to grocery shopping) doing it myself to be done quicker than these people. When I got home the milk was not in a bag, the strawberries looked like it's been sitting out in the sun forever, bacon was lukewarm, and five of the eggs were broken with yolk splattered everywhere amongst other annoyances. I like shopping at Ralph's myself but man doing this whole curbside pickup is horrible. They try to get people to stay in their cars so the pros can handle it. The "App" for Ralphs when you place an online order for curbside pickup is not working correctly. I placed an order and when I go to the app it shows last order is from 2023. Also when you get to the store and park in the designated area there is no phone number listed to call the Pickup crew. Totally FUBAR right now. Had this same issue 2 weeks ago and it was a nightmare trying to get my order brought to my car. I have written to Ralphs Corporate about this and nothing has been done. read more

Went today. Prices rang up wrong. They were out of many sale items. They had ham marked down to sell quickly. We noticed a sticker with a June 15 expire date on one about 6 weeks past pull date (They missed this one). We looked at the other ones, peeled back the sticker to find that they had removed the pull date stickers from the other ones. During high Covid, we were ordering online and picking up. I don't think they got the order correct once. We got some marked down rice today and noticed it was passed the pull date, I imagine that being it's rice it will be okay. Bonus: Say junkie passed out on planter, called store and spoke to employee. Employee said that "he ain't hurting anyone" and did not seem to care. If you see the other Ralphs in Granada Hills, you will see what happens when you don't keep a junkie free environment.
