My wife and I stopped by this Ralphs inside Porter Ranch Town Center last night because we needed to get milk and other stuff. We just finished dining at the plaza across the street at the Vineyard so this grocery store was just convenient to go to. We found parking just fine since we came around evening time. The store wasn't busy but we saw the line to check out. The stores closed the self checkout with many checkout station so people had to use the other one that only had 3 checkout station. The cashier line was backed up too so people just had to wait. We found everything that we needed here. We don't come to this Ralph often because it's out of the way for us. I checked out the pre package sushi they had but the price was toward the pricer side so I didn't get it. read more

This Ralph's is convenient for me. It's not far from my house. I'll go here often. I'm so shocked that I never did a review yet but you know what they say now or never. I like this Ralphs. They always have everything I need and they always have good deals. If you use your digital coupon are through your number they always have amazing sales and fully stocked with good quality. Also, they are willing to help you find what you are looking for and went aisles to go to. The customer service is very good at all times when I do come here. It is also very clean and they keep their restrooms clean as well for the public, which is rare when it comes to grocery stores. However, I do recommend coming in here if you are looking for something to cook or if you want to grab a Starbucks cause the line is never long. Location 5 stars: On the East end of the Porter Ranch Town Center, off of Rinaldi and Corbin. Plenty of free parking. Venue 4 stars: Clean large store, well set up. Merchandise and Selection 4 stars: If I had to go to one grocery store only, Ralphs would be my one stop shopping destination. They have all the mainstream, name brand food items. They have a pretty good wine, liquor, cheese and deli selection. They also have a bakery and a prepared foods counter, a pharmacy, a florist and a Starbucks! The bakery may not compete with whole foods, but it is OK for every day use. Prices 3 stars: Just OK. Not as expensive as Whole Foods, but more pricey than Amazon fresh, Walmart and Target. The Last Word 4 stars: Cannot beat it for the convenience. Proximity to my house and parking are great, they have everything that I would ordinarily buy, and the prices are OK. Impressed with the COINSTAR's efficiency and thanked one staff in person for showing me how to use it quickly. The price of Clicquot Yellow Label Brut Champagne Veuve Clicquot is much cheaper than Costco's if you buy six 750 ML bottles, which yealds more than $60 savings! The store is clean, and staff is helpful. Tip: If you have a large party or a special occasion party, you may buy six bottles here for more savings than any Walmart or Costco store! This is a really nice and clean Ralph's. Plenty of parking. There's a Starbucks inside, a sushi and deli station. A bakery that smells good, plenty of pies, pastries and freshly baked bread. The fruits and vegetables section are top quality. The staff is friendly and helpful. Lots of good deals with their digital coupon and sale items. Got my Thanksgiving turkey for $.79 a pound, great price. Location is really nice as there are lots of establishments , this is now my go to Ralph's . I like that they have a lot of gourmet products that I need. Prices are usually high but I shop by the ad sales. This location is a great one. Nice big parking lot, always busy, but great selections. My bf and I typically drive to this one because of their alcohol selection. They have some unique ones that you don't typically find at other locations. I've seen photos on Yelp and I guess this used to have a Coffee Bean? It's now a Starbucks which I find odd because there's literally a Starbucks store a few feet from it in the same parking lot lol. They have a machine to purchase scratchers like others but today I found a new one for Loteria! Bigger than the small one they usually have so that was neat. My family's market is Ralphs. Most likely since there is one locally to where we live. While my sister lives in a different area, I still think about Ralphs when I visit her and there is the Porter Ranch location. This location is super huge, clean, and have a great selection of produce, groceries, and prepared food. What stands out for me is their cheese section. There is an entire island of variety of cheeses and I believe on certain days there is someone to assist to help sample the different types. I suppose another difference compared to my local Ralphs is their prepared food section. Its a lot larger, there are independent sections for the different types of food. While my location is bundled up in one section. They also have a Starbucks stand for easy access for a coffee fix. Although I do like visiting the Starbucks in walking distance instead. Sitting in the car writing this review! I went today to purchase 2 bouquets of flowers and of course, as always with this location, they ran out of plastic bags for the flowers forcing me to purchase a bag. I used self checkout & there was an attendant there, she has blonde curly hair and wore glasses, I unfortunately didn't get her name but I will next time. And it's not the lady that is usually at self checkout and has been working here for a long time, this was a different lady. I had my hands full with these bouquets and I asked her if I could please have a bag. She literally looks at me struggling with these flowers and with no extra hands, and proceeds to say "yup they're right there" condescendingly and walked away quickly. Are you serious? I have eyes and can see the bags are right there. I needed HELP OBVIOUSLY. Poor service and attitude and for what? Because you couldn't take a second to open a freaking bag and help me out? I reviewed the electronic ad on my phone at Ralph's but had to enlarge it to see everything. I saw ground turkey on sale for $3.49. It didn't ring up and I asked the person at the checkout (which I did myself) isle and she looked at the electronic add and enlarged it and said it was only We'd-Fri. If this is an electronic add and at the bottom it said July 2-8, I felt they should honor the price. She went and talked to the manager who when she slowly walked over - and made me repeat what I was seeing and asking. I mentioned it's hard for people to use the electronic coupons. She kinda rudely said "we don't use electronic coupons (but they do) and you can get paper ones". She didn't tell me how to get them either. I politely told her that is still inconvenient to the customer. I mentioned very nicely that other stores - Publix my favorite in Florida - doesn't inconvenience its customers and I will probably look for stores like this. She very rudely interrupted and said, " I was gonna give you the discount but now am not since you keep talking about other stores where you can shop" Wow!!! I didn't say it but you would think this manager ANNA would want to keep customers not push them away. I wasn't impolite, I was making a point that the corporate office needs to make things convenient for customers not harder. If they have a Wed-Friday promotion- maybe don't keep that on the front page of their electronic ad on their app- people need to enlarge things to see on a phone and their policy to get coupons online (or as I just found out go get paper coupons from someone) is not an easy process as phones are small which makes it impossible for me to read without enlarging. Her reaction was not a very nice one and there are too many other stores to shop at and she made it clear as a manager she doesn't care about the customers. She felt it was ok to be condescending and rude. Then this lovely manager stared me down as she waited for me to get my refund from the clerk I told her I see her stare and it's not nice. She said she's a great manager and very happy and knows how to deal with people like me!!! Wow - glad you are proud of yourself ANNA - I think you have a lot to learn - I was having a conversation with you and your response was -"I was gonna give it to you but not when you're talking about going to other places and keep talking". ANNA this is not a great manager. You have a lot to learn and you have lost my families business! I am lucky to be living in a neighborhood that has easy access to groceries. Ralphs is close by and has conducive opening hours for insomniacs and early risers. It is a popular place and can get crowded if you do not time your visit. I go here for quick simple, basic pick ups. Generally, Cilantro, Bread, Fruit, and Meat. If the day is good, they have good quality stew beef, and there is good chicken. But this place can have a problem. On a 9 am visit, there were lots of customers that were agitated. They had only a few registers open. It was flooded with big carts. It did not seem to bother them that so many people were in line. To add insult to injury, they closed their major self service check out aisle. The one that was open on the other side (only 4 booths), had two that were broken. So what is going on. Bad dynamic management. Oh well. read more

The Ralph's on Rinaldi appears to have a thief in their employ. I tried reporting this to corporate, they don't give a damn. My credit card company informed me my card was used Monday morning at the Porter Ranch Ralph's location. I often shop at this Ralph's, but I hadn't been there in two days. I reported the fraud to my credit card company, I have already been issued a credit to my account, my replacement card is on its way. I reported the fraud to Ralph's corporate. They say they can't find the charge on my rewards account. Obviously, since it was not my charge. I gave them my credit card information. Nope, not useful. Ralph's knows where my credit card was used, what time and date, and for how much. They have security cameras all over the store, so they could easily identify the thief. They can't be bothered to check. The credit card used does not have the card number embossed or printed on the card. It is not TAP enabled. I carry RFID blocking in my purse. I never take my card out if someone is standing close by. The only way the information could have been accessed was via the in-store card readers. Which could only be accessed by someone working for Ralph's (unless someone installed a skimmer, which would have been picked up by the security cameras). I use this card for groceries only, it makes sense that the fraudster/thief would use the card at the same store. Another purchase at a store I frequent could easily be overlooked on my credit card statement. Fortunately for me, this credit card company has robust security protocols. I was notified in real time my credit card number was used. I went to the store Monday evening to report this to the manager. I've heard nothing from them. read more

I usually shop at our local Ralph's, but I was very disappointed to find mold inside the refrigerator in the organic produce section. This is unacceptable for a store that sells fresh food. At least one organic product is definitely growing in there. I hope the management addresses this issue promptly and improves cleanliness and quality control. read more

Go there all the time (because it's a short walk) most of the people who work there are very nice. Good selection of food, what you would expect from a super market. Always fresh. Clean and organized. I love the people who work at the Starbucks. Especially Tim. The ladies at self checkout are sweethearts. And they actually assist you. Again, this is personal bias because I've gone there for years and know just about every one. There was a man there named Martin (I only referred to him as "favorite" which he had no problem with, because, why would he?) He died a few years ago but I still want to mention him because everyone loved him and he deserves to be mentioned even if no longer here. Everyone loved him, I mean, how could you not. I'll preface by saying I've been living in this neighborhood for over 6yrs and hardly come here--because of the way my children and I have felt, when shopping here. I came in and made a purchase, then realized I forgot something and went back. I still had my bag, upon checking out was told I hadn't paid for my first purchase. That was until I pulled up my online transaction. I decided never to return because that was uncomfortable and felt it was racially motivated. I return years later and get some steak, when I got home --it had a horrid smell. I went back to return it. The manager was rude, short and nowhere near the demeanor of a good manager. He seemed annoyed, though he shouldn't have been. After-all, it's them who sold bad meat. Again, I went back to shop but because of my first experience- I told him I would leave the bag upfront. When I asked the associate for it, she too was rude and alluded it hadn't been paid for. At this point, I'm not interested in having another incident as I did before. I encouraged her to get the manager who placed it behind the counter. She hesitated and gave me the bag as though I might have been lying but didn't want a confrontation. It's interesting how this behavior and racist undertone ALWAYS comes from minorities themselves!! It's sickening, disgusting and will not be dismissed. I purchased a Nordstrom gift card for $200 on 6/2/23 and when my friend went to use it on 6/27/23 she was told that the balance was $0 and that the gift card had already been used on 6/14/23. A nice, spacious, super-clean and upmarket Ralphs supermarket. I am surprised that I never wrote a review before having used it several times prior to COVID (and unable to travel to the US for 18 months or so. This Ralphs (and all the surrounding stores) is relatively new (5 years?) and set in the midst of a massive parking lot. They have a huge pharmacy and every kind of grocery, dairy, produce that you heart may desire. It seems to me that prices have risen significantly over the last 2 years since my last visit. read more

Used to be the jewel supermarket. Now it's depressing.. everyone masked up. More importantly, the prices are outrageous. $350 haul of groceries at Ralph's, you'll get the same at Amazon Fresh for 20-30% less. The only thing still no compromise is their Boars head meat. After weeks of searching for a particular item at Ralph's Fallbrook and Ralph's Gateway Plaza, constantly getting out of stock notices but only at check out, (they don't label the items as out of stock when you're ordering online. Guess it's too much trouble either that or they like surprising you!!). After a long search, finally got what I needed at the well stocked and well run Ralph's in Porter Ranch,CA. Nicest people, very helpful AND the staff doesn't take hours to answer the phones. (At the other 2 stores I finally just hang up after the phone rings more than 15 minutes!). I've been shopping Ralph's Porter Ranch for over 12 years. They recently went through a remodel which now includes a walled security section which houses OTC medicines, some personal care items and laundry detergent. Really? Is crime so bad in Porter Ranch they had to section off part of the store? This makes me feel like I'm in a high crime area; which it is not. You actually have to stand in line and purchase your laundry soap before continuing normal grocery shopping. It's absolutely ridiculous and highly inconvenient! Thank goodness there's a Von's, Whole Foods and Amazon Fresh within a half mile of Ralph's. When I do my grocery shopping, I don't need to feel like I'm surrounded by shoplifters and criminals...which I doubt there are that many at the Porter Ranch Ralph's. read more

I have been complaining about people being allowed to bring pets into the store for a while now. I have spoken with several employees and sent written complaints to Kroger, others have complained as well and nothing changes. I get my prescriptions filled at this location, but I don't want meds from a knock off Pet Co. So I give up, Ralph's wins. I will take my business elsewhere. read more

Overdue review from last month. I had a bit of a dramatic time ordering a cake to celebrate our Adored Grandson's graduation from 8th grade. Originally, had tried to order from the Ralph's even closer to his mom's house than this one. Their cake decorator was not going to be working on Friday, so they couldn't guarantee the cake for me. Porter Ranch was the next suggestion. I had placed the order through their 800 number after initially designing / ordering online, but being told they couldn't fulfill it at the first choice store. I figured I should call the store directly to follow up, as there was a time crunch and it needed to be done within two days time. "Oh yes, we see the order and we'll have it ready for you", I was told. Long story short, when I went in to pick up the cake, it was not done completely right. They took some short cuts with the colors and execution. While it was "okay", it wasn't how it was pictured online, and I felt that they'd done what they wanted to do, and not what I paid for them to do. It was not a confectionery work of art. In the things-in-life-to-be-concerned-about-category, this was not a huge biggie, but any perfectionist, or someone counting on details to be executed, would be disappointed. The cake was tasty, and AG enjoyed it, so that's what ultimately counts. The lady that works in self checkout she was so rude to me. I have never had anyone be this rude in customer service, ever! She accused me of lying that there was a sale on the item i bought. I went back and double checked and I was correct. She didn't want to admit she was wrong and completely out of line. She gave me my refund for the sale price after she checked the name and the SKU # on the item and realized I was right. Why would I lie especially when there is clearly a SKU #. Like come on. Ralphs really needs to fix its delivery business. I'm sitting here almost three and a half hours after I placed an online order, and at the end of my delivery window I finally called only to be told there were no shoppers available to fill my order. I've been sitting here waiting while they just twiddle their thumbs over there and don't even bother calling or texting me to tell me they were dropping the ball. I've got an Amazon Fresh right down the hill that also delivers and I could have my order by now and be on my way if I'd used them instead of Ralphs. I won't be using the Ralphs app ever again because this is the SECOND TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED! And I refuse to go in person because the parking lot is terrible. Ralphs, you guys really suck. This store was a great location, tons of parking, really great produce, a great bakery, deli, cheese department... good stuff. Until it lost its soul. I had truly enjoyed shopping here for the past decade and the staff was a big reason for my loyalty. I used to spend about $1,200 per month at this store as we have a pretty big family. I probably spend 10% of what I used to... Since this location went to almost entirely automated check-out, the staff has become Non-Playable Characters from a GTA video game, morale is low, and with the robots, you pack your own bags, wait for the robot to call over the unhappy person who is in charge of the robots because the robots care more about theft prevention now than service. The robots are constantly having issues. It's truly sad how MEGA EXPENSIVE RALPHS has become. One dozen eggs at RALPHS is $5.99, meanwhile, if you drive one mile to TRADER JOES eggs are $2.99. The list goes on, bread $2 more expensive than GROCERY STORE OUTLET just 1.4 miles away, I can just keep naming item after item and other stores to find them at. Lemon Cake formerly $9.99 was $17.99 today!!! The service has been greatly affected and there is no reason to shop here unless I want aluminum foil or something I absolutely cannot get elsewhere. This store used to be a really great place. The last straw was the rude check-out person that I had today. Today was the day that I preferred the robots vs her little tiny attitude. I don't blame her as much as the overall decline in morale that I have seen over the past few years. It isn't easy putting up with hoity-toity Porter Ranch peeps, I get that but clearly this location needs sweeping changes. Attention Pinoys. They sell Sukang Maasim & Maanghang. Very clean. I wish they had a better whisky and beer selection. They have an isle with cooking utensils and appliances. I don't know if I should blame the pandemic for their limited selection of products or it's it's just them. Other markets are now back to normal, right? Their organic pantry products are very limited now, and they are always out of soy milk! Maybe I'm going at the wrong times? But their customer service is not where it used to be too.
