I really love this location of Aldi. I always come here and they always have really good deals. It reminds me of another version but different from Smart and final, they have so many different things and different brands for great prices. This location is always fully stocked and even though the lines get along, they always have exceptional customer service and make sure that the lines move quickly. It is also always neat and clean inside. The only thing I dislike about Aldi is that you do have to bag your own items and pay 25 cent for a basket. However, I do love this Audi and I love the deals and they have good Customer Service. You can get everything you need here. Also, love this size of the spot is not overwhelming. My mother in law used to shop food in this chain market in Missouri. And, it is still a good deal for products and price. They have sazonal vegetables and fresh fruits, many European products for a good price, the ambiance is not crowded, and the service is very friendly and fast. Bring your bag, and 0.25 cents to grab a car. They will return to you. Wonderful options for good chocolates, ice cream and Italian pastas. And wine as well! read more

Aldi is a great store, always find some great deals there. They can save you quite a bit of money on groceries, produce, unique items and as well as house wares. The employees there are very fast at the check outs and friendly, so service is good as well. No frills here, just a basic grocery store layout, but you come here for the deals, not for the decor. I have seen in other reviews that they do not like having to have a quarter to get a cart, but I think it is a good idea and a good way to keep carts in the corral. If you don't have a quarter, you can ask for one when you get there and they will happily give you one, so no problem. Everything is expensive these days and keep going up, stores like Aldi are fighting high prices, do yourself a favor and give them a shot. You will save a lot over most other grocery stores and find some good quality items you are familiar with and probably find some new items that will become favorites. Enjoy! read more

Not much of an update. I prefer the West Hills location as I feel like the Northridge location isn't well maintained, well staffed, or well stocked. I would not recommend coming here on a weekend of Monday due to the store not appearing to be well stocked. All that said, they have the best prices of meat I have ever seen when it's newly stocked because some of the meats looked like they were there awhile. read more

This Aldi location used to be clean, well-stocked, and well-maintained. Unfortunately, these days it is none of those things. Floors are dirty, inventory is not as organized and orderly, and numerous items are not consistently available. I'm sure you can still get some good deals, but the last few times we have gone, carts were not available, so it became increasingly difficult to have a positive shopping experience. I have a feeling that employee morale is also suffering, and the employees are no longer as helpful or courteous as they once were. I truly hope they can turn this location around. read more

Since I am right next door from flame broiler. I stopped by to pick up a dry sweeping cloth. It is much cheaper than the store brand like Swifter. While walking the aisles, I saw some affordable products that I thought I could buy to send it home. Cool!! The store looks clean, stocked, well lit and not busy. This was the first ALDI I started shopping in back during the pandemic. It was well stocked and affordable. Today is Friday 3/20/2026 and the store is 100% the opposite. We all know prices have increased everywhere but this location is horribly stocked now. The first five things on my list they were out of. The bakery section is like a wasteland. ALDI normally stocks up on Wednesday and Thursday for the weekend crowd but sad to say..... I will never visit this location again. I wound up just taking my cart back outside to leave and there were two customers that did the same thing. To be honest, this was my first visit to an Aldi, and my first impression - not great. So in an age where no one carries cash, much less coins - Aldi is asking for a quarter to use a shopping cart?! Yes, you get it back when you return your cart, but that's assuming you have quarters on you in the first place (this location also didn't have any shopping baskets!) So without a cart, I entered to see if there was anything worth lining up to purchase. There was limited produce, and what was available looked sorry. They had miscellaneous items, like: Halloween decor, cookware, and pet beds, etc. This location looked like it needed a good mopping, and had a slight smell. The final straw for me was the fact a box of La Croix 8 cans was nearly $6?! I ultimately ended up leaving to purchase the items I needed from a nearby Vons. read more

Love the store and I frequent this location. I have no complaints about the actual store but BEWARE OF MAN SELLING OUTSIDE OF FRONT DOOR. He is usually there selling candy for his barbershop. He is usually friendly and greets everyone. I have encountered him multiple times. I have never had an issue with him until today. I greeted him upon entering and exiting the store. I told him to have a great holiday. He returned the greeting, then slyly and with a smile, insulted me about my body. It didn't register until I got to my car that he was insulting me. Aldi is like the German version of Trader Joe's, they have their own brand products and they're reasonably priced. The chocolates are really good because they're made in Germany and not expensive at all. Their chips are also worth trying because they're not as toxic as American chips. Vegetables and fruits are fresh and good quality. Not as much selections but ample enough and they have better prices too and remember to bring a quarter for the cart. I have to admit I had never been inside an ALDI before so I can't really compare it to other locations but I wasn't impressed. I went to get a shopping cart and realized I needed coins to get it and I never carry coins around so that plan went out the window. The produce selection didn't look great and the sodas and other drinks were more expensive than the regular Albertsons I go to. I was told they were more discounted but they didn't seem like the case me. Everything seemed to be in random spots and not an employee anywhere near to ask questions to. I've only been to maybe another location that I can't remember what city but I am a regular at the Burbank one. So I've only been to this location once and I think the vibe is calm and relaxing. I found the store to be more organized than the Burbank location. I think if I had to chose which one I'd go to more it would be this location. Not impressed with this location. First off, the employees here don't really seem to be into their job. A reason why I love coming to aldi is the quickness of the checkout process not at this location. The staff seem to be trained to go painstakingly slow. Another con is the fact that they tend to run out of items. Every time I go there's 4-5 items from my list that I go home without. Or have to make a stop at a different market to get them. Very annoying, it's not that the items run out, its that the manager doesn't have the foresight to place the orders to meet the demand. The aldi location in Simi Valley never has this issue. The quality of the ingredients at this location seem to be worse than others. I came in today and the tomatoes they had available were all gross. Moldy or cut up and squished. I asked an employee if they had more and they said they didn't. I don't even know why they even had them out on the floor to be honest. They were that nasty. They never have their electric scooters charged. Ever. I'm disabled and some days I use electric scooters in store if I'm having a flare up. It's been 3 separate occasions where I go to use the scooter and they are completely dead or they aren't in the store because they haven't retrieved them from the lot. Very disappointing for people like myself who need it. Lastly they always close their doors well before closing time. Today we were in the store at 8:30. We wanted to use the restroom and an employee said they were closed because she had just mopped. Fine, we go pick our groceries and when we're done I asked about the restrooms and the employee was rolling her eyes. I get that they might want to go home but this is why they have cleaning after hours. I've worked in retail and we always try an hour past to clean.. so not sure why they didn't want to do this other than just laziness. While I was waiting for my husband to use the restroom it was 8:45. A lady came in and got stuck in the lobby because they had already locked the entrance doors. Again, 8:45. Never in my history of working retail we're we allowed to close doors before the time posted. I was able to walk through the exit door for her to come in and she was also surprised that they closed the doors so early. She was only buying one item so it's not like she held up anything. I'm just appalled at the disappointing customer service. I still make the trek to simi if I have the time to because this location is always a hit or miss. read more

My first experience at Aldi was surreal. One is first greeted by the type of industrial lighting that seems to suck energy from you. A heart-shaped pizza! Okay, that's notable. Then you begin to notice that you're drawn to what seems like familiar brands only to realize they've scientifically cracked your brain's code by knocking off packaging color schemes to a degree that begins to feel dreamlike. The original Chips Ahoy are placed right next to the thing that looks exactly like it but look further and it's like a clone missing a chromosome. That's not Lucky Charms, it's Marshmallows & Stars with a wizard clad in leprechaun green! Indeed they're placing you under a spell. But wait, is that the same manchego cheese trio I've seen at Trader Joe's? I think it is! Is it cheaper? I have no idea. Are those Dr. Prager's broccoli bites? No! But maybe? Is that Land O Lakes Half and Half or the fake food that comes with a toddler's play kitchen? It's all so confusing. Where am I? Why are the Coffee Bean k-cups so cheap? Am I reading this right? Does it actually say Coffee Leaf and my brain is just tricking me? Why does this chocolate bar seem like it's from IKEA? And Bugels? Who prominently features Bugels? Are we in Scandinavia? I was dizzy, the room was spinning and then it took 20 minutes to check out (they don't bag your groceries either) which brought me back to reality. This is a pretty sucky place but it's fascinating and I'll probably return. read more

The only groceries I went was Trader Joe's in Chatsworth. Today I ventured to Aldi and super happy. Aldi located next to Best Buy on Nordorff with huge parking lot! It was super clean and well organized. I like to find German stuffs in Aldi. Was happy I got Müsli, Erdnußflocken, Rotkohl in jar and mustard. Definitely I will go back to get more good stuffs. I absolutely love Aldi now!!! It opened up by me and I was so excited to go - prices for their items are so much more inexpensive compared to other grocery stores for the same product. I love that it is affordable and rarely ever fully packed when I go! Parking lot is nice and large, easy to find parking. I usually always get princess parking when I go. TIP: BRING A QUARTER IF YOU WANT TO GET A CART!!! You put it in the slot and when you return the cart, you get the cart back and honestly I love that they did that since it holds people more accountable. Huge fan of this place. Just needed veggies for my Mirepoix and decided to try Aldi. Great price for all 3 item and 2 avocados end price $5.13! Would have bought the Zucchini but hate that you can't recycle the plastic?! I went here for the first time last week. I was due for a Trader Joe's trip but decided to check out ALDI instead. The concept is similar to Trader Joe's, but with a smaller selection and a bit of a drop-off in quality. It's not a supermarket you go to for all your items, but like TJ's it's a niche store decent for dry goods, basic produce, dairy and meat. ALDI's produce was much cheaper than Ralph's or even Trader Joe's, but the quality was no worse. I bought bell peppers, onions and zucchini and they stayed fresh for several days before I got around to using them. Their eggs are much cheaper than Ralph's or Trader Joe's. Their meats are reasonable but the quality isn't great. Their beef cuts are a paler shade of pink than what you get in Ralph's, which means they'll tend to get tough and dry when cooked, so I gave them a miss. I did buy a package of bone-in chicken breasts, and although they were A cups compared to Ralph's C and D cups they tasted ok. They sell off-brand dry goods such as Triscuits (which were quite a bit saltier than the name brand) and a decent selection of beer and wine, although their soda and sparkling water selection was limited. Parking was plenty adequate. Make sure you have a few quarters in your center console - you need them to access the shopping carts, and they don't have any hand-held baskets for smaller numbers of items. The only major criticism about this ALDI is that the employees were rather indifferent and disinterested and quite unhelpful. read more

This new Aldi in the Northridge Best Buy shopping center is a nice size store, not too big or too small. It's tucked into the corner next to Flame Broiler and Jersey Mike's. Most of the products they sell are house brands but seem to be of high quality. There are a few name brands mixed in. Everything looked nice, clean and the shelves were fully stocked. Make sure you have a quarter for your shopping cart or grab a stray cart out in the parking lot. Either way you will receive your (or someone else's) quarter when you return the cart. Near as I can see there are no hand baskets provided by the store. The shopping bags are tucked under the conveyor belt at the checkout stand. Grab one and hand it to the cashier who will place it in shopping cart for you to do your own bagging. Everyone working at the store is friendly professional. read more

Finally an Aldi in the area! In case you don't know, Aldi prices are hard to beat - even against their 'sister' company Trader Joes. Aldi North owns that chain - the brothers split the company into two many years ago over the sale of alcohol. All the Aldi branded stores you see now are Aldi South. All Aldi have a good beer selection, with several exclusive German and Belgian beers. They don't just sell food. They do have some low-priced seasonal items, that one of their employees says once it is gone - it is gone for good. You really do save money going here. i.e. seedless watermelon is currently $1.89 - Costco price $5.99 . Like all European markets, bring a quarter so you can unlock a shopping cart - you will get it back (they had these in the U.S. in the 80s but it fizzled out, and the cashiers all get to sit down, rather than stand. read more
