I've always just viewed Ralph's as a neccessary evil. I've always lived near one but have opted for Stater's or Trader's. This location though is pretty nice, roomy and well set up. I've got some great stuff from their deli, butcher and they have a great dairy section. Surprising though is their great selection of fruits and vegetables. Kudos to the head of this department for I've yet been disappointed with the selection. They also have a pretty extensive beer and wine section. Many organic choices and brands you may see at Trader's or Fresh n' Easy. This may be due to the fact that this location caters to the tinge uppity Sunny Hills communtiy. Great bakery too. Docked a star for the occassional curt customer service. read more

Located right on Harbor Blvd. this Ralphs is the closest location to my house and is usually pretty buzzing. The parking lot is usually half full with a bunch of other surrounding shops in the plaza including Subway, Big Bear Diner, and Wing Stop along with Ralphs Fuel Station. It's pretty easy to find a spot for parking on the side of the store but to park in front is a bit tricky and dangerous as some people don't know how to slow down in Fullerton and wait for pedestrians. The inside of the store is quite clean and has very friendly staff who are ready to answer any questions. Anytime I have been in a hurry and needed to know where a specific item was located they knew off the bat which aisle it was in which is definitely a plus. They also have a Red Box inside which is where my family usually rents their movies from. My only complaints with this branch are that 1. there is no key to the restrooms so they smell awful from the homeless who bathe in there 2. parking lot can sometimes be hazardous for pedestrians as previously mentioned 3. not enough check out lanes open and 4. self-check out seems to take a lot longer than it should compared to say Target. read more

In the hallway to the left of the seafood counter, there are a few shelves of discounted goods. I've found good deals on bread that's about to expire which is just fine by me because I'm just going to chuck it in the freezer for a later date anyway. read more

My wife and i moved to Fillerton last month and our first visit to this market was enjoyable today however was a bad experience, i bought some ribs and they were crap! They must have been out on the counter all day this was 6:30pm. I will be trying Stater Bros. and hope they have better Management. read more

This is my go-to, and they rarely let me down. Need 20 kinds of olives? Check! Need 100 types of cheese? Check! They stock like 10 varieties of STUBB'S bbq sauce/marinade, so I'm pretty happy about that. And their beer selection, while not the greatest, is pretty damn good. Perhaps the worst Ralph's in Orange County. It's too small and is always missing something. It's the closest store to my house, but the aggravation of not having items cancels out its proximity advantage. The gas station has great prices but closes at 9:30 on a Saturday night. It's just poorly managed. Ralph's needs to close this store down to protect its image. read more

Ralph's ran an ad this week for 50% off King Crab Legs that did NOT indicate the regular price or the sale price. At the seafood counter they were price $24.99 with a 50% sign attached. I was then told that $24.99 was the 50% reduced price. Surely he must have been mistaken so I questioned him again and got the same response. I buy King Crab Legs often and have never seen them priced $49.98 per pound. Regular price at Albertsons and Sprouts is $24.99. I called the so-called Manager this morning, Ralph's in Fullerton, and she verified that their regular price was $49.98 and that she had nothing to do with pricing and marketing but would relay my concerns-doubtful! She said that I was welcome to shop anywhere for a better value-something I already know. My issue is deceptive advertising. 50% off a doubled price without mentioning the price in your ad is clearly a come-on to get you in the store. I replaced everything else in my cart an left the store. I am also moving my pharmacy to Albertsons. read more

Good grocery store. Not much else to say has everything I usually need when shopping for groceries. Have not yet tried anything from their bakery or their fish department but will at some point soon. Will update that and see how well these two departments are. read more

I love this grocery store. Parking is easy and employees are friendly. Higher quality of items and more of a selection than my old Ralph's in the LBC. People who say Ralphs is expensive just don't know how to shop here...cause I save $$$ read more

By definition, this is NOT a value oriented place to food shop. The vast majority of items (I would normally buy) are priced to the moon. As a result, I very rarely step through the door. However, I do remain on their e-mail list. And, I do check out their weekly sales ads. And, every so often, I will see a legitimate sale that will bring me into the store.....But, truth be told, aside from the sale items, I usually can't justify purchasing much else. read more

I stopped here for coffee bean at 6 a.m. right when they opened. Unfortunately the person that was supposed to open the actual coffee bean section was running a little late. I had to be at work by 6:30 a.m. so I was in a hurry and I needed my coffee to survive my 10 hour work day! The drink was the same as usual but they didn't/don't offer the crushed ice, that was definitely hard to hear as that's one of the best things about CB! After the drink was made I then had to ask for the sugar and everything to be put out which took up even more time. Luckily I made it to work on time but it was a definitely a close call. They also don't accept coffee bean gift cards, I was unaware. I didn't know that there was one located off of Orangefair Ave (it's hidden, there's no sign!), that's definitely gonna be my new place from now on. If you're like me and start work early, I definitely wouldn't risk it. 2 stars means: Meh. I've experienced better. read more

Last night my wife and I stopped to pick up a few items. Among the items was a large container of soup from the deli. The items were bagged and the bags were handed to me. I didn't notice that the soup container was lying on its side in one of the bags. It wasn't leaking yet, but the young man who was bagging noticed it and quickly caught my attention taking the bag and putting the container upright, then handing it back to us. I thanked him for his attention and quick thinking. I could imagine what a mess that spilled container could have been. I wish I had noticed the name of this bagger, but I didn't. The checkers that are up front are usually very efficient and helpful: Deborah and Aurora come to mind. In addition sushi is available at this location and is very good. Parking is kind of difficult at times and the deli needs to vary their selections. read more

Kelsey Ann is the best! Seems like a great boss. Works over in the Deli, where everyone is so nice. Gale and Blanca are so funny. Joann is just the sweetest and is so kind. During the holidays Brandon wore the cutest Paw Patrol Santa hat. He's not there during the day a lot but if you're there at night Fernando is pretty cool. The food is always great, the chefs Juvencio and Maria are so much fun! Gale always gives the best samples! Anna Marie and Kelsey Ann run that place in tip top shape. I always go to the deli when I go because of everyone there. Oh and Coffee Bean for Marissa, the best barista there is! Always perfect drinks. read more

I came here to try the fried chicken at the deli, i ended up getting a breast, some tenders, onion rings and potato wedges. All of the chicken was bone dry and overcooked, seemed like its been sitting on the hot line all day, same with the wedges which somehow managed to be rubbery on the outside and powdery and unsubstantial on the inside. I should have attatched a photo but theyre in the trash. Suprisingly the onion rings were under cooked and completey drowned in batter. I got halfway into the chicken and one bite into the wedges and onionrings before they hit the rim of my trash can. The stater bros deli in buena park is worth the drive, will never return to any ralphs deli. read more

This has been my go to store because it's convenient and they carry a lot of the things I like however I'm giving it a one star (and would give zero stars if it was an option) because many of the employees working in this store are not wearing masks at all or are not wearing them correctly. Example: mask around their neck and not on face or under their nose. I've learned that the store management is aware of their employees not following their own store rules for employee protective gear and yet they're not enforcing it... What the heck! So unfortunately Ralphs will lose my business. I will take matters into my own hands and not shop in that store anymore. Ralph's employees don't have the right to jeopardize my health. Sadly it seems Ralph's is not interested in protecting their employees either by allowing lack of enforcement. These employees interface with the public during this deadly Covid time and absolutely should use every precaution. Since when do employees have the freedoms to not wear required protective gear? Come on Ralph's- manage your team for the sake of the community and your employees. read more

Worst Customer Service Ever!! I still cant believe it. It was my first time at this store. I drive by it every day and decided to stop and get stuff for dinner for my family. I approach the register with a pretty full cart. The cashier who seems not very friendly goes to ring up my rotissery chicken. There is no Barcode on it and says, "These Deli people know I cant ring up anything with out a SKU" I said to her, "the price is written on it with a sharpie. It says 5.00" She said back to me, "I cant ring up anything with out a SKU" So she sends the bag boy to the deli to get a SKU. I kid you not it was almost 5 minutes before he came back. She rings it up and its $8.99. I said, "Whoa. Thats alot, why does it say $5.00?" She told me that was probably the time that it was cooked, 5pm. (but she couldnt tell me that when I first pointed that out to her?) So I said, "how am I supposed to know that?" She gives me attitude and I tell her, that I will go and get the cheaper chicken in the bag. I leave to go get it and am gone not even 30 seconds and come back and she started to ring up the lady behind me with a FULL cart. I say, "Hey you couldnt wait 2 seconds for me to grab a new chicken after I waited forever for a SKU?" She said to me, "I have to keep the line moving" So as I am waiting forever for her to finish with this lady I ask to speak to the manager and explain my frustration to her. The manager doest say sorry at all, she just says, "well the cashier is finishing up and will ring up your chicken in a moment" So its my turn again and the cashier says to me, "So are we ok now?" I say, "other than the fact that I have been waiting forever, sure" She then says to me, "well you are going to have to wait longer becuse this chicken doesnt have a SKU either. " SERIOUSLY!!! She asks the manager, "Hey How much are these chickens? $5.99 or $6.99??" The manager comes over and says, "I think they are $6.99" So the cashier rings up $6.99. I say, "She THINKS??? And I thought you couldnt ring up anything without a SKU! Nevermind, just finish up so I can get out of here". Meanwhile the Manager is looking in my cart and admiring some Clearance flowers I got. She says to me, "these are pretty flowers." I just nod. She then says, "You took these from behind the counter didnt you?" I say, "Excuse me??" Manager:"These were behind the floral counter, we were saving these for another customer" Me: "NO, I got them from the Clearance Bucket with the other bunches I got. You can check the cameras! I Did not get them from behind the counter!" (Mind you they were $1.99 Clearnance Hydrangas. Since when do people call and ask to hold Clearance flowers!!) Anyway, I say, " I got them from the bucket!" Manager: "Well they didnt belong there" Me: "Thats not my problem" She then pulls them out of my cart and gives them to the cashier and tells her to Void these out. SERIOUSLY!!! She takes them out of my cart!!! I was already in the process of paying, I had already swiped my ATM card. Everyone in the store was looking at me like I did something wrong. I was mortified. I felt like crying!. I said to her, "You can VOID the whole Freaking transaction!!! I want nothing from you people! This is worst customer service I have ever experience in my life, and I have done nothing wrong. Your GM will be hearing from me!" I leave the store in total rage, because now I know I have to do my grocery shoppping all over again at another market. All ai wanted was a chicken dinner for my family. I love this Ralph's especially cause it's down the street from my house. We go here daily and know everyone from the deli people to all.the cashiers. We say hi to everyone all.time and ask how they are as well. but the service I received today was absolutely horrible! And by one of the managers to not help matters! As I was self checking out I had to step away to grab something I forgot and when I returned the manager was changing the types of limes I got stating they were the wrong ones I keyed in. Which is fine but there is no stickers on the limes to say which type they are and the ones she entered were a dollar more. Whatever not a big deal. As I was putting my bag of ice watermelon,limes, and liter of soda in a carrying basket, the same manager walks by and tells me make sure you bring that basket back. Like.do I look like I'm going to steal it. I proceed to tell her I know I always bring every basket back all the way back into the store none the less. Instead of offering "hey do you need help carrying those things out she tells me to bring a carry basket back. Her attitude was so rude towards me as a local who goes here daily I was so upset I literally wanted to cry. I have never been treated so badly by an employee of any type because I treat people with respect on how I hope to receive it back. read more

I weighed the G-Beef twice in the vegie's area, and both times it was 3 Ounces less! I have the suspicion that the butchers keep a little bit left on the side to take home? The store itself is great. The people who works there, not quite so. I grabbed all the items that I needed and went to a cashier. He did not greeted me with a simple hello nor asked if I found everything ok. He just continued talking to the other cashier and bag person about something that has nothing to do with work. Rude! I can understand if the convo is business related but it sure that wasn't the case. They were giggling and talking as if there were no customers in sight. It's okay, I'm very forgiving, so I decided to continuing shopping at Ralphs but in the future, I will ring up at self check out instead. One day, I wanted to make some chicken enchiladas so decided to give aralphs another shot. I grabbed all of the items that I needed and proceeded to the self check out. After I entered my phone number into the system, a screen appeared that required an assisstant's help. Silly me, I entered my new number and realized that the number that I registered with Ralphs is with my previous....so I waited..and waited. The assistant lady was busy helping out another customer so I looked around a noticed all of the other machines were open....I went to one, started to input the right number this time, and in the middle of me scanning my items, the assistant rudely asked "Were you using this machine?" referring to the one I was previously one. I said "yes, but it wasn't working" ...then she continued with "yes it does, but you entered a wrong number" and rolled her eyes... ok so obviously i know it works but how can I continue to check out with that frozen screen? I can't be waiting here forever when there are other open machines. It's called self check out for a reason. It should be quick and simple. Even when tried to avoid rude workers here, I still somehow find myself dealing with them. read more
