Was very disappointed with the meat quality. It looked fresh and the seasoning tasted good but my pan and cutting board was left with an unnatural red color and that's how I found out that they dye their meats with red dye to make it look more fresh than it is. Do not come here, I'm surprised no one has gotten sick yet. Service was OK and the overall experience was typical to a bodega. Just disappointed overall. read more

Stopped in to grab some Carne Asada & veggies to grill with on Sunday. My boyfriends friend recommended this spot & we decided to check it out. The parking lot is tiny but there is parking in the back & we were lucky enough to find a spot. Street parking is hella limited so you may circle the lot before you find a spot. We must have showed up at a busy time because they were out of corn & all their avocados were not ripe (sad face) so we ended up getting a few things & carne asada. Quick service, all their meats looked bomb & the cashiers were friendly. Def enjoyed the carne asada here and will be back soon! read more

Went here on New Year's Eve and met Arturo at the carniceria. He was so friendly and helped us choose our meats for taco night. He estimated we needed about 7 lbs of meat for 10 people and he was spot on. Sadly the cabeza was sold out but the al pastor and carne asada were fresh and seasoned perfectly. We turned them into baked nachos after we had our share of tacos. Can't wait to come back to try the cabeza, carnitas, and the home made chorizo! read more

Their prices are a little too high but it's more of a convenience grocery store. Their staff are friendly and is WIC friendly.

I love small family like grocery stores. But this one is very well maintained and I wish I took a picture of the meat Dept. It was clean, fresh, no weird flies. Beautiful cuts of beef and the marinated al pastor was smoky and sweet. Very very delicious! Will definitely come back, seems like lots of love is put into it. There's also a mini Michoacana inside which is like a juicery and ice cream store. But Mexican flavors. read more

What a RIPOFF!!! Was driving by sunday afternoon and I saw the guy grilling outside so of course I had to turn around and see what was all that about, came up to the guy and he was NOT in a good mood , I understand it was hot and he was grilling but you should ask your boss to get you a better tent don't take it out on the customers, so I went inside to find out about the meals and they don't include at least 3 tortillas for 1/2 chicken! Are you kidding me!!! , it's only chicken and some water down salsas , they make you buy a whole bag of tortillas to upsell the purchase when the damn 1/2 chicken ONLY is already $10 bucks lol the real and biggest disappointment was when they give you a chicken the size of a damn pigeon for $10 dollars! I understand times are hard for everybody but you should offer better deals so people keep coming back and then you will have a steady customer base and don't try to screw the only few customers you have, asi que no se pasen de rateros y traten mejor a la gente o se van a quedar sin negocio por tranzas!!! This little market is so neat! I wish they had more variety in their fruits however considering their size, they have quite of few options in regards to their veggies. It definitely feels like a nice cozy Mexican market. My parents love coming here for their meat in particular. It's fresh, the quality is great, & they're beyond reasonable when it comes to price. They have a little ice cream bar inside next to the register! It's delicious! The ice cream is made from scratch. They also have bionicos, mangoliadas, esquite, jugos frescos, fruita picada, & various other snacks that are freshly made to order. Personally, I'm in love with the bionicos. It's super refreshing & the crema is to die for! I've never used their check cashing services but that is also conveniently located inside as soon as you walk in to the right. In a nutshell, if you need a few items to make a meal... come here! For your large shopping trips you might want to stick to Northgate, Food4less, or Stater Bros. Haven't been here in a while so I thought I would come and check it out. Remodel is very nice and meat quality is good. I bought there homemade carnitas and chicken (chicken was bbq'd outside and carnitas was inside). The carnitas were soo good. Was craving tacos for dinner and I always pass this place on the way home so I decided to pop in for some meat. I was suprised on how big and clean this place is. I picked up some pastor and marinated chicken the seasoning on both was really good made for some good tacos I will definitely be back. read more

Great market for shopping and a verity of things to buy. Prices are Ok, but they can be better. Customer service is good.

This is a small market but come in the weekends they have the best carnitas for a good price. They also sell chicken you can smell the goodness when your diving by. They even have a small Michoacána section. I do recommend if you coming to try the chicken get there before 5:00pm read more

This market is great. Three stars because they don't have enough parking and they use handicap parking as regular spaces. Most of the time I go there is people with no handicap plaque parked in spaces they are not supposed to be in. Store fault because they place their own parking space signs. Other than that the actual store is good for quick shopping. Good meat and nice staff. read more

My favorite little grocery. I feel like I'm in Mexico in the very best way. Great produce and produce prices, very fresh and nice, though somewhat limited. I've never seen bad fruit out. I love the fruit salads and juices bar, and the prices are really good. A small fruit salad is only like $2.50. Sometimes parking fills up but you can park out back and walk in the back door too. There's a decent selection of items for Central Americans, too, and you can chat it up with the cool Guatemalan lady that sells fruit salad. There are really great fresh made salsas, guac, cream and cheese, and I suggest the avocado salsa (like half guac half salsa). The meat selection isn't as huge as some stores but it is consistently fresh, something you can tell doesn't always happen at the bigger places with so much selection they aren't selling out fast enough to keep it fresh. Go on Saturday or Sunday for the awesome pollo asado they are grilling out in the parking lot. A whole delicious smoky chicken is only like $7 hot off the charcoal and comes with salsa. I buy tortillas and make a meal of it for my family of 5. Some of my American family worries they'll feel out of place in Mexican grocery stores, but though there isn't much English spoken here, everyone is amazing and welcoming and even my mom who doesn't speak Spanish likes to go. It ends up feeling like a small town grocery since its always the same people and they remember you, love it read more
