My mom used to always buy 주물럭 from this market and it was pretty decent. Recently, I've noticed they're mixing in other cuts of meat while still charging the same price. That pisses me off because it's dishonest and obviously lack integrity. In the attached photo, the very left thicker meat is the 주물럭 but the thinner meat surrounding it is not. I don't know what cut of meat is it but they're definitely not 주물럭. Honestly, if they're already doing this, I'm pretty sure they're also using older meat too, since the 양념 would easily cover up any changes in color or taste. Because of that, I just don't trust this place anymore and I'm not going to buy 양념고기 here again.

There are also grab-n-go bento boxes that many people come here for. It's not my favorite Japanese store but it's okay.

The employee assisting me was very short and appeared irritated from the beginning. His manner and body language made me feel as though he did not want to be bothered with serving me. When I simply asked if he could show me the meat so I could see what I was purchasing, his response was unreasonable and discourteous. Instead of assisting me in a polite and professional manner, he was shaking his head, making gestures, and clicking his tongue as though my request was an inconvenience. As a customer, I believe it is completely reasonable to want to see the product before purchasing it, especially when buying meat. What was most disappointing was not simply that he was brief, but the attitude and manner in which he treated me. Customers should be treated with courtesy, patience, and respect, regardless of how simple the request may be. I had to take another ticket because he already called the next customer and i'm not done with my order. I hope management will address this situation with the employee and remind staff that good customer service is an important part of the shopping experience. I am bringing this to your attention because I believe customers deserve to feel respected and welcomed when they shop at your store. I spoke to Fan and she summoned the manager to the meat counter. i'm not able to see the name of the male worker, his badge was not visible, however Fan escorted me and identified the worker. She then identified the worker to the male manager in charge. Thank you for taking the time to look into this matter. I hope appropriate steps will be taken to ensure that other customers do not have a similar experience.
