Small store with lots of options! I went here to grab supplies for making my first cup of chai. I was a bit worried about getting all the spices I needed but I found everything I needed here: cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, star anise, black tea and also some rose. The gentleman at the register was super nice and helped me find a brand of the instant masala and rose I was looking for. This place is a very convenient stop to perform Desi shopping. They have curb-side pickup. Twice, we had purchased a variety of items here during this Covid-19 lockdown and social distancing. The gentleman who takes our orders is very polite. He manages to fulfill all the items on our list. There is an option to pay ahead, which we took up on both times. We park in front of the store, text him & open our trunk. He puts our stuff in, closes the trunk, and we head home safe & happy. Check this Desi store out guys. read more

I tried out this market recently because I have a friend who was teaching me how to cook Indian food. The fresh produce is very limited, but I think it has mostly everything you would need to cook Indian cuisine. The store also has aisles of snacks, rice, spices, sauces, frozen selections, and even some incense/altar items toward the back of the store. Ingredients to make 3 Indian dishes and a few noodle cups and snacks came out to $75. I'm not sure if I would come back. I'm giving this place only 2 stars because I bought some snacks not knowing that they were expired. The other issue is the customer service that happened the day I was here. I was next in line with all my items already on the counter and there were at least 4 other customers behind me. Another shopper in the store try to cut everyone, including myself. The lady behind the counter asked me if it was okay because the shopper only had "a few items". Personally it was a no for me because I'm a fair person but I turned to the other customers behind me and asked if they were okay and another customer said cutting is not okay because she also has just a few items, but she also has to wait. I agree. I turned back to the lady who works there and told her no, we wouldn't be okay with that shopper cutting. I also told the shopper that the line starts "back there". The lady behind the counter ignored me anyway and proceeded to allow the cutting to happen even though she asked if it was okay and at least 2 customers expressed that they wouldn't appreciate it. Honestly, what's the point of asking if you're going to still let the customer cut? When she rang up my items, I was polite but I told her what she did made a few customers unhappy. She proceeded to give excuses about letting someone cut because they were "waiting or in a rush". I don't know, I think it was wrong for her to do that. Everyone's time is valuable and everyone's in a rush these days. Be considerate of people's time and opinions and be fair. read more

Great option for residents of Fullerton and Brea. Staff is friendly. Parking in the front is limited but there is more parking behind the store. I would recommend to get prices double checked because some items are more expensive than Artesia's usual Indian grocery options. read more

- Locale Destination - It's on S Harbor Ave and Rosslynn Ave in Fullerton. Across street from Costco. It's a mini Indian market. Its size is tiny but all kinds of Indian foods and other stuffs are packed and organized by aisle/shelves. The staffs are friendly. Ask them what you need so that they can guide you faster to the aisle. You can park in front of the store for free. - Gluttony Expedition - Fresh produce: They don't have much ordinary vegetables, but good place to pick up some special Indian stuff that ordinary supermarkets don't have. Spices: OMG - this is a heaven for cooks ;) You can find all kind of interesting spices for Indian cooking with decent prices. They don't sell them by weight but you can find them from spice bottles to large portion packages. Cheese: They got several brands of Paneer (Indian cheese). One of them was pretty good. Frozen breads: Wide varieties - from Naan, chapati to Paratha. Frozen foods: Not so many varieties. Instant foods: Wide varieties. Great! Flours, oils, rices, beans: You can find wide varieties here. Sweets: Wide varieties. Ice creams: Wide varieties - very interesting. Kitchen tools: Not so great. Indian products: soap, shampoos etc. DVDs & CDs: I don't know about their music nor movies (I know their music videos are hilarious ;p). - Conqueror's Deduction - Amazing!!! This is probably the best option for anyone that lives in Fullerton, Brea, or La Habra. The one downside of this place is the parking and it can be hard to locate the shop. With the COVID-19 situation they have curbside pickup as an option! read more

They have great products for there, but the manager or owner is in need of schooling on hygiene! It sounds rude, but 2 out 3 times I've ever been into that store, the manager has picked at his nose. Does not go wash his hands, and continues with his job. It's absolutely disgusting. I've actually told him once to wash his hands after picking his nose. On our way to dinner a few nights ago to Angelo's and Vinci's we passed by this tiny hole in the wall off Harbor. India Bazaar! I am a fan of curry and masala as I am a fan of cooking it as well. So, we stopped by here and I ended up with more than masala. Four words: India Bazaar is AMAZING! Not, only was the store itself full of imported groceries but they also have music, dvd's, books, statues of Ganesha, Krishna and more. Dishes, cook ware you know just tons of STUFF! The staff here were super helpful. One guy lead me to the tea area and told me how to make the Indian tea masala. If you have questions about anything here the guys that work here are really helpful and friendly. I prefer going down to Little India but this place was fine. I only wish that I could find an Indian Market in Costa Mesa. read more

So... I'm not one to leave reviews very often. I should, as I come across some pretty amazing places. This was not the case yesterday. Anyway, I was in yesterday just to have a look around. I have some Indian friends, so I've been introduced to some pretty tasty stuff and wanted to see if I recognized anything. I wasn't greeted when I entered and didn't think much of it at the time. I went about my shopping. There were several customers inside and they were all visiting I assume as I don't speak the language. So as I wandered around, I realized that the 'uncle' was following me around. A couple times we almost bumped into one another. I went back for something at one point which is when I realized he was in fact following me. He turned on his heel when I was face to face with him. This is when I knew it was me he was after. I went in ready to spend money which is the bummer for them. I bought just a few things, then left. The cashier was pleasant enough but I continued to be watched by the 'uncle' as I left the store and was outside talking to my family. He didn't take his eyes off me. I am not a thief and don't appreciate being treated like I am one. His actions were very rude. Perhaps it was because I'm not Indian. I don't know. But I work in customer service and I can tell you that all should be treated equally until you have a reason not to. Not treated like we're all bad unless we're just like you. It's a sad shame as the business I work for was looking for a good place to order big for our Indian food that we serve, alongside spices and such. If I have anything to say about it we will not be ordering from this store. And I will not be returning. Shame on them. read more

Just visited here based on the Yelp reviews. It is really good, with a much larger selection of spices, flour, rice, and sundry than you'd think possible in a relatively small location. All for great prices. Parking is easiest on the side street next to the shop (and they have a dedicated lot there). With this so close to Costco in Fullerton it makes it easy to stock up on supplies for delicious Asian cookery. Unusual in the large selection of frozen ethnic veg in addition to all of the dry goods. Great place with, as quoted elsewhere--stuff, stuff, stuff, and more stuff (even cooking supplies--pots, pans, lunch pails). read more

This store is great! Not only are they expanding but the staff and Owners are super helpful and kind. I'm not sure why that one review said they sell expired product, totally untrue!!! I see them daily getting rid of expired product or any unsaleable goods and organizing the store. I should know, I go in there quite often. The prices are so reasonable and the selection is quite expansive. I also like the convenience of walking my cart out the back of the store to my car parked on the gravel or simply going out the front if I parked on the street. I enjoy supporting small businesses especially when they are local. A truly awesome store to get all your Indian goods & ethnic food items. Love it. read more

My friend and I were on a hunt to find samosa wrappers and drove to any Indian grocery store that we could find. This place turned out to be hidden gem and the closest place to us! It was a good suprise. The place was neatly organized and packed with all the spices you can think of. There is a mix of frozen foods as well as fresh herbs and veggies. We found the samosa wrappers and brought some spices for our next cooking adventure. We are totally going to come back for our Indian culinary delights. read more

Not a friendly place. Not one person greeted me or asked if I needed help for 30 minutes. Bought a few snacks and later saw they were all near expiration (like within a month) and stale, bland, oily or all of the above. Rice was infested with bugs and though expensive, we threw it away. Before I noticed the bugs cooked a batch or two and noticed not only was taste off but felt sick. I am a huge fan of Indian food so it wasnt that I didnt know what to expect. The environment is also sad like a shady corner mart.. it would have been ok if employees were kind. Better off buying stuff online so there is some quality control. read more

This is one of the most organized and clean places I have visited in United States. People here are very nice and helpfull. They have huge stock of different spices, cookies frozen food and even fresh veggies. They went through expansion so now the store is double the size. Also currently there is Diwali sale going on in the store. There a whole section for all the Diwali goods like diyas and rangoli and what not. Lots of discounted products. Also, if you are a student and if you buy things worth more than $100 then your in for 10% discount. read more
