Tyler is the kind of employee who truly makes a difference. He is always friendly, welcoming, patient, attentive, and goes beyond simply ringing up groceries. He takes the time to ask if there is anything else needed, did you find everything you needed, recommends this is so good, and makes sure your completely taken care of before leaving. His attention to customers and willingness to help make it clear that he genuinely cares about the experience he provides. What impresses me most is that Tyler's kindness feels sincere. He treats customers with respect and makes people feel seen and valued. Even when the store is busy, he maintains a positive attitude and never makes you feel rushed or like an inconvenience. His professionalism, patience, and consistently pleasant demeanor are qualities that are becoming increasingly rare and deserve to be recognized. Employees like Tyler are a tremendous asset. A cashier may be the last person a customer interacts with during a shopping trip, and Tyler leaves customers with a positive impression of the entire store. Once again his friendly attitude and willingness to go the extra mile make an ordinary grocery trip feel more welcoming and personal. I sincerely hope management recognizes Tyler for the outstanding job he is doing. He represents Stater Bros. extremely well and sets a wonderful example of what exceptional customer service should look like. Tyler deserves to know that his kindness and dedication do not go unnoticed or unappreciated. Thank you, Tyler, for consistently making customers feel welcome, respected, and cared for. You are truly an outstanding employee, and Stater Bros. is fortunate to have someone like you on their team.

As someone who genuinely enjoys shopping at Grocery Outlet, I was excited to visit this Anaheim…read morelocation because of its size. From the outside, it looked huge, and I expected to find the unique products, hidden gems, and specialty items that usually make Grocery Outlet such a fun shopping experience. Unfortunately, I left disappointed. One of the things I love most about Grocery Outlet is discovering products and brands that aren't typically found in traditional grocery stores. However, this location felt more like a standard supermarket. The majority of the inventory consisted of common national brands that can be found at almost any grocery chain, rather than the unique, rotating selection that Grocery Outlet is known for. I was also surprised by the limited selection of organic, gluten-free, specialty, and health-focused products. In my experience, Grocery Outlet usually offers a wide variety of these items at great prices, which is a big part of why I shop there. This location seemed heavily stocked with mainstream products instead. The reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is that I did find a couple of discounted items that I regularly purchase, so there was still some value in the trip. Overall, I hope the owners or management consider expanding the selection to include more unique products, smaller brands, and healthier specialty options. Grocery Outlet has built a reputation around offering unexpected finds and great deals, and this location didn't quite deliver that experience for me.

The prices are fair and competitive with other supermarkets. There are always sales and discounts to help you save money. I like making my own salsa and hot sauces, and there is a huge selection of fresh and dried chilies and peppers. The produce section is also well-stocked, and the fresh corn and flour tortillas are another plus. There isn't a food court here, but the ready-prepared foods and carniceria (meats) counter has a lot to offer. I sometimes get the warm tamales, hot chicken, or some of the marinated meats. The freshly baked goods offer plenty of choices. I'll also grab an ice-cold agua fresca when I swing by the ready-made food area to enjoy on the way home. The staff has been kind for the most part, and it does get pretty busy on the weekend and especially during seasonal times. I usually go early during the week to spend less time in the lines or waiting for my number to be called at the carniceria counter.

I took photos and a video because I was surprised to see it in an area where food products are displayed. I immediately informed two employees and asked for assistance. I hope management takes this seriously by inspecting the store and strengthening its pest control and sanitation measures. I'm sharing my experience so the issue can be addressed promptly and other customers are aware.

Vons Bakery = My Frosted Happy Place…read more I gotta say--I love Vons, specifically the bakery side, aka the magical land where all my sweet dreams come true. Every single cake I've ordered? Absolute perfection. Moist, delicious, and decorated like it's ready for its Instagram close-up. And let's talk about the price--YES PLEASE. I'm not trying to take out a loan for a birthday cake, and thankfully, Vons gets that. The store is always clean, calm, and never a line at the bakery counter (which feels like a small miracle these days). I walk in, pick up my cake like the VIP dessert queen I am, and waltz out--pay, of course--ready to party. This is the spot for baked goods and celebration cakes. Whether it's a last-minute cupcake run or a "wow" cake for a birthday bash, Vons bakery has my back--and my sweet tooth. 10/10 would (and always do) come back for more sugar and joy. ‍

My first hand experience of this store that I frequent at for the last 14 years is abysmal. Over the last year it's has gotten so much worse. They leak water into the aisle and products are covered in thick ice. This is a very expensive store but with barely any workers to help. When I walked in, I saw that the entrance/exit doors had gates to prevent shoplifting. I can't believe how much this place has changed over the years. It honestly makes me feel like this was the first time being here. As for renewing my registration and license tag, this was my first time doing this and I had to ask the security lady if she could help me, and she happily did. After I had some difficulties, I started screaming like Malcolm from Haunted House 2 when his believed dog got crushed by a heavy suitcase, and he dramatically tried to revive her. That's what my scream sounded like when I was frustrated, except I didn't revive a mushed dog and my scream wasn't that loud. But the security lady was caring and kind, and she helped me out. Within minutes, I was able to figure out how to use the kiosk without my dad having to do all the work for me. Eventually, I was able to get my new registration and a new license tag in the process. 0 STARS -- EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM A MANAGER…read more I have lived next door to this Ralphs and have been a customer for approximately five years. This store is literally right next door to my home, and for years I regularly patronized this location without having any significant issues--until dealing with a manager named Cisco. I had an incident with Cisco last year where I felt he unnecessarily involved himself in a conversation I was having with another customer and escalated the situation. I made complaints about that incident previously. Since then, I have largely avoided this store because I do not want to have any interaction with him. It is unfortunate that a store located right next to my home has become a place I feel uncomfortable shopping because of one employee. Tonight, I went into the store simply to purchase my items and leave. I noticed the self-checkout area was not open as it normally has been at that time. Another employee was trying to assist me and went to ask whether the self-checkout could be opened. When the employee came back and said it could not be opened, Cisco came over. I explained that I was simply trying to check myself out and specifically asked him, politely, if he could open the self-checkout. I even acknowledged that we have had issues in the past and that I was trying to avoid any interaction with him. Instead of simply responding professionally, he focused on the fact that I had said "please," repeating it back to me in a way that I perceived as mocking and antagonistic. I told him that I had already asked politely. His response was essentially that he was not going to do it. At that point, this was no longer about whether a self-checkout was available. It was about how a manager chose to interact with a customer. I was attempting to avoid confrontation and simply make my purchase. I should not have to feel like I am being antagonized by a manager when I am trying to shop at a store I have patronized for approximately five years. When I left the store, security and police became involved. This was extremely upsetting and completely unnecessary from my perspective. Ralphs needs to seriously address what is happening at this location. A manager is supposed to de-escalate situations, provide professional customer service, and represent the company appropriately--not make an already uncomfortable customer interaction worse. I have already made complaints about my experiences with Cisco, so this is not the first time I have raised concerns. The fact that I have continued to encounter the same type of behavior is extremely disappointing. This is bigger than simply saying, "I don't like this employee." Customers should be treated with professionalism and respect regardless of whether an employee personally likes them. A manager should be held to an even higher standard. Ralphs: please investigate this situation, review the conduct of this manager, and take appropriate corrective action. At this point, I do not believe Cisco should continue serving in a customer-facing management position. I am asking Ralphs to seriously consider removing him from this location and/or taking whatever employment action is appropriate based on the investigation. I have been a paying customer of this store for approximately five years. I should not have to avoid a store next door to my own home because of one manager's conduct. Ralphs needs to do better.
