I had seen Ralph's Coffee all over social media, so it was definitely on my list during our NYC trip -- we made this visit all about food experiences. I was excited to finally check it off, but I have to say... the coffee was just meh. Nothing terrible, but nothing memorable either. That said, the service was great. The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which made the experience more enjoyable. It also seemed like most people there were visiting for the same reason -- and from what I overheard, I wasn't the only one who felt the coffee didn't quite live up to the hype. The location is a plus. It's right across from St. Patrick's Cathedral, which makes for a beautiful backdrop if you're looking to snap a few photos. Overall, I'm glad I tried it and checked it off my list, but it didn't quite meet expectations. Maybe it was just an off day read more

I was excited to try the Ralph's Coffee truck at Rockefeller Center, but unfortunately it was pretty disappointing. We ordered two small hot chocolates and they were over $15, which already felt pricey. Sadly, the taste didn't justify it at all. The hot chocolate honestly tasted like hot water with a melted Hershey's Kiss in it -- very thin and not rich or chocolatey like you'd expect, especially from a place associated with Ralph's Coffee. Between the high price and the lack of flavor, it just wasn't the best experience. There are definitely better places nearby for a good cup of hot chocolate. read more

Im not gonna lie.... I think my expectations were really high. This is their coffee cart at Rockefeller Center. I haven't been to the other one, so I have nothing to compare it to. I saw their menu, and ordered a regular latte. I wasn't sure if they had any flavors, so I ended up just spending $8 for a regular latte that tasted like any other one. Service was good though, and they have cute merch. I'm just not sure if I would pay that much for a plain latte. read more

Ralph's Coffee is operated under the umbrella of the Ralph Lauren brand. They have multiple locations throughout NYC. This particular one is right near Rockefeller Center. It's a cute green truck - you can't miss it because there's going to be a LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG line of people waiting. Ralph's has their own coffee blends with organically grown beans from Central America, South America, and Africa. In addition to coffee, they have tea, hot chocolate, lemonade, and pastries. We came on a freezing cold Saturday evening and waited around 20 minutes to order. We were craving hot chocolate and hoped it was worth waiting in the cold. Since it's located in such a hot spot, you can expect everything to be overpriced. So it was no surprise that it was $7 for a hot chocolate. Sadly, the price and wait didn't make up for our disappointment. Our drinks were lukewarm and lacked the richness of a melted chocolate bar. It just tasted like very, VERY diluted choco milk... It was more milk than anything. Maybe we made a mistake by not ordering their specialty coffee roast. Welp. read more

I had such high hopes for this spot but it was disappointing for sure. the coffee was just okay. But the workers were so rude and it just ruined the vibe for me. I also could not justify spending over $60 for a hat?! Insane. My aunt asked for decaf and the workers just so rudely said we dont do that. Like it's fine if you don't but idk be nice?! Heard that this was a cute little spot to grab a quick beverage and it didn't disappoint. I love the monochromatic green look and I love a good matcha lemonade, the balance of this one was really nice. Price-wise it's pretty standard for other matcha lemonades I've gotten in the city. Service was friendly, drinks came out quickly, and there were a few little tables to sit and eat pastries at! There was a long wait but that was to be expected because it is a well know place. We waited for about 30-45 minutes and it was worth the wait. A ginger bread latte and croissant were good. Not the best latte I have had but was worth trying. Definitely went for the experience but don't need to go again. read more

If your closing time says 6:00, you should take orders until 6:00. We walked our way over by 5:45 after a wonderful day in the city, only to be met with the RUDEST employee I've ever encountered. I was told " we're closed" I mentioned that it was 5:45 and your hours say till 6:00... she VERY rudely says " WE'RE CLOSED " I was honestly shocked at how rude and nasty she was. read more

The location of the truck is perfectly tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Times Square but a short walk for convenience. The view is unbeatable right in Rockefeller Plaza with St. Patrick's Cathedral views. My sister and I both got the Pink Sea Salt Caramel Latte and it was the best coffee of the trip! The person at the register was nice, but the person making the drinks was rude and yelled at us when we didn't hear her. Also, no decaf espresso so I couldn't get a coffee (I cannot have caffeine). Cute area and coffee truck. Edit: They closed 20-30 minutes early and kicked us out of our seats 15 minutes to close. If they do close earlier, at least update your hours! read more

Came here a few times as it was close to our hotel and it being the first time any of us had it and we've seen it trending all over. I had the vanilla latte twice and both were really good. Coffee is pricey but you expect that here. It's pretty good so a reasonable choice if you need a cup while in the area. Don't go out of your way for it though as there's nothing particularly unique about the van they sell from except a polo bear (obviously) in the driver's seat. read more

Glad we tried it but probably won't go back. Visited the Ralph's coffee truck because of all the hype. Even though we were there on a Sunday there was no wait and we got our drinks quickly. We ordered 2 Mochas, and the seasonal Strawberry and Rose Matcha Latte. They weren't the hottest but were good. However, it's definitely overpriced. $9.25 for the seasonal matcha is steep. Go for the Instagram pics but don't have super high hopes. It's expensive but nothing special read more

Ralph's Coffee Rockefeller Plaza is fun during warm weather. I found it accidentally one day when I was wandering around the Rockefeller Center Neighborhood. There wasn't a line like at the location on 5th Avenue in the Upper East Side. There's tables and chairs nearby. I grabbed a chocolate chip cookie and had my afternoon snack! Their cookies are delicious! Service was fast and friendly. I sure hope it's still there when I return to the neighborhood. Let me know if you visit! read more

I wasn't expecting very much when my friend said she wanted to grab coffee here after lunch. However, much to my surprise, the cold brew was very pleasant! I forgot the price, but it was under $5 for 16 oz. of cold brew which is cheap for NYC. Upon initial sip, the cold brew was a lot stronger than I'm used to (and I tend to drink pretty concentrated coffee), but once the ice melts a bit, it was perfect. It's a darker roast that is pretty sweet and a really nice and lasting cocoa after taste. I also love how smooth the coffee is! This location is a coffee truck with lots of outdoor seating - each table has a nice umbrella to keep you underneath the shade on a hot and sunny day. Truck's not next to the rink like google maps shows. I imagine that's cuz there's construction going on in the rink. We walked around and found it tucked next to atlas, across from the church. Plenty of outdoor tables and chairs and umbrellas. Umbrellas were great for the drizzle. Nice place to have a leisurely coffee on vacation. Coffee was good, what made it really special was the view/ambience of the atlas statue + st patricks cathedral. Atlas had bird poop on his butt. Some crazy homeless guy was on the church steps yelling for a bit. So New York. It was a relaxing way to spend an hour. read more

The location is perfect for a summer day! It's located right next to the Lego Store in Rockefeller Center, so we found ourselves stumbling across the cute coffee truck as we left. We got the iced americano, which was not bad in taste. It's obvious that they use quality coffee, but it was extremely overpriced. For a medium-sized cup packed with ice, the total (after tax) was $7.08. Other than that, there's a good amount of seating right next to the truck and the location is perfect for a photo-op. read more

Upon walking in, I was greeted by a waiter who led us to one of the purple velvet chair booths that was perfect for two people and another waiter brought us a pitcher of water almost immediately. The menu is on a QR code already on the table and we were given ample of time to decide. My friend and I both already knew what we wanted to order. I got the purple Yam Souffle which takes 25 minutes to make and my friend got the fried squid tails. We also got a signature Rose Green Milk Tea to share. The waitress who took our order has great memory and recalled all of our items without writing it down. She also reminded me that I could adjust the ice and sugar levels of my drink which I had completely forgotten and would have got annoyed if my drink came out 100% sweetness. Another thing is that my drink order frequently comes out wrong at other locations so I was glad she got it right! Green tea instead of black tea and with milk instead of without milk. The purple Yam Souffle is just like the other locations. Hot, soft cakey texture balanced with an ice cold red bean Ice-Cream. So delicious! The squid tails on the other hand was not what we expected. It came out burnt and hard. The outer batter was not crispy either. We informed one of the waiters and he brought it back to inform the kitchen staff. We received a new batch that was not as burnt and had more flavoring this time around. It's super easy to join via their app, and you earn 1 point per $1 spent toward free pastries, drinks, cake slices, and more and i even got a free pastry just for signing up. I ordered a chai latte and my free strawberry croissant pastry filled with soft custard cream and strawberries, dusted with powdered sugar. The strawberry croissant had fresh strawberries and cream and it was the perfect breakfast after a run in Central Park. The second visit was to take advantage of their BOGO cake slice deal through the rewards app. It's a fun way to explore their cake selection without paying full price. I ordered the Blueberry chiffon cake slice filled with soft cream, topped with blueberry yogurt soft cream and blueberries and the strawberry soft cream cake slice, a vanilla cake filled with soft cream and fresh strawberries, topped with more berries. Service was friendly and the line moved quickly. Prices are typical for midtown NYC, but all the reward app perks make it more reasonable. I will definitely be back to earn more rewards and try more of their pastries.

It was easy to get to walking down from the Bryant Park area. When we got there it was busy, but not too busy. My wife and I split a slice of chocolate mousse cake. The price is just right for the perfect size slice for sharing. On our prior trip it was a lot busier and it took a while to get a seat so we could eat. This time it wasn't as crowded and we were able to sit right away after getting our slice. On future trips to New York we'll definitely have to come back and try some of the other items available.
