I called multiple times to verify that I can come in just for an eye exam for a prescription for eyewear. I informed them that I had a complete eye exam at a reputable establishment (Eye Ear & Throat Hospital) a few months ago and only needed a new RX. They were quite insistent that they do another exam which I refused (waste of insurance). They made me wait an extremely long time for the paper prescription, even after multiple requests. They appeared quite frustrated that I didn't want to purchase eyewear from them and even became rude and indignant. Would not recommend. read more

Dr. Paternoster is a gem! His wall of learned accomplishments is alone enough to be impressed! This doc knows his stuff. Now on to his staff. They get 5 out of 5 stars from me. From the appointment desk, to the arrival desk, and on to wonderful Eric who takes the images, and of course Dr. Paternoster's right hand woman--she's really great! They work like a finely oiled machine but with feelings! I also visited the eyewear shop. My glasses expert was great. He asked what I like and what don't I like and brought me a ton to try. Very clean facility, friendly staff, clean equipment and a nice doctor. Will be returning. Con: I had an issue with my contact pick up prescription, they were supposed to give it to me before my flight, I forgot to check in so I ended up leaving without them and my bf called a couple days after to pick them up and they still didn't have them ready so I was stuck on vacay with my glasses. I was a bit disappointed as they are usually organized but for some reason they updated me once that they were ready via txt and never again as a courtesy reminder which other places often times do. read more
