I've been trying to get basic information about the cost of an upcoming appointment with Dr. Keh's…read moreoffice since early August. It's now late September, and despite multiple emails and phone calls, I still haven't received a clear answer. Getting through to the office is incredibly frustrating. Calls are routed through a centralized phone system, and I repeatedly end up on lengthy holds without reaching the staff I need. On my last attempt, I hung up after nine minutes on hold. Although someone left me a voicemail prior with general pricing information, I still haven't been able to confirm my expected costs or resolve a question about my medical insurance and was told on my last unreturned call and email that there was "a problem with my medical insurance." I specifically sought out Dr. Keh because of her expertise with difficult contact lens fittings, and this review is not a reflection of her clinical care, as I haven't seen her yet. However, the administrative experience has been extremely disappointing. Sad part about medical care is that the doctor could be wonderful but the admin and attention to detail dismal which leads to an overall frustrating experience. I'm thinking about cancelling the apt I booked months ago and flagging to others to think again before scheduling to prevent you as well from having this experience. A specialty contact lens fitting can require multiple appointments, trial lenses, and ongoing communication. After six weeks of struggling to get straightforward information before even becoming a patient, I'm concerned about what that process would look like. I hope the practice does a rehaul of its communication and makes it easier for patients to get basic information about their care and costs.

Once again, I knew I was in good hands. Dr. Gallin's knowledge and understanding of her specialty is unsurpassed. When the time came for my surgery, I trusted her completely. To say I am satisfied with the outcome is an understatement. Dr. Gallin truly gave me a new lease in life. I have absolutely no qualms in recommending her.
