Machaca Burrito was awesome!!!! Definitely recommend Raliberto's to those looking for the best breakfast burritos.

In short: Great food, great prices, nice people, open crazy late for post-bar snacks, but...hard to find, undecorated, slow service. And despite the shortcomings (or maybe partly because of them), five stars without a doubt. This place lurks behind the A&W on the north side of 128th. Don't be like me--I got off the freeway and drove past it twice, front and back, before I figured out where the parking lot was. Hey, it was really foggy. Turn in behind the A&W and there you are. Ironically, A&W flies a big neon sign that says "All-American Food," which will guide you to Raliberto's if you let it. When you do get here, you see a small converted fast food joint. They do their best, putting up big signs and painting the windows as vividly as they can. You can drive through or dine in. When you walk in, you see a fairly dim dining room with virtually no decorations, and they might not always be super quick to bus out tables. They keep a very lean staff here, so busing isn't always job one. Don't be swayed. The food rocks. The menu is simple, and shown up on the wall with photos. Tacos, burritos, chimchangas, etc. Whatever you order, whether you order to go or to dine in, it's coming out in a stryrofoam clamshell. It's either in a bag or on a red plastic tray. They have all the basic pops from the fountain, and a couple in bottles. They also have horchata and fruit juice. You order. It's cheap. You sit down. You wait. Even when it's dead, you wait ten minutes. That's because they're making your food. They're not just grabbing it off the warming tray, they're slamming metal spatulas on the flattop and putting your food together. It's not all organic or anything, not at these prices, but it's all fresh and it's all made when you order it. Cool! What you get is great. Explosively flavorful sauces and salsa fresca, gooey cheese, chewy tortillas, and great fillings with nicely balanced seasonings and good depth of flavor. The tacos are too big to eat without scooping a few forkfuls first, the guac is creamy and tangy, the burritos are hefty and full of flavor. I love everything about this place after one visit. It's great cheap grub that's really hard to find (literally). Definitely be back. read more

Love their breakfast burritos. You can't go wrong with getting a sausage breakfast burrito. We noticed when we place orders to go, they don't usually make it until we get there which is good because we get our food hot but we do have to wait which defeats the point of calling ahead. Not a fan of their guac.... read more

As a San Diego transplant, I'm always on the hunt for decent mexican food like what I'd get at 2 a.m. in my home town. Raliberto's fits the bill pretty nicely, offering carne asada, rolled tacos, and nachos supreme (as well as a menu full of other earthly delights) relatively close to my current casita. The price is right, the staff is fairly friendly, but service is slow, so don't think of this as fast food by any means. Be prepared to wait! It is worth it though, especially when you have a craving that can only ne satisfied by a flour tortilla filled with carne asada and french fries. read more

After reading many of the good reviews this place has i decided to give them a try, i've gone twice, 1st visit got breakfast burritos was not impressed and the customer service was poor. 2nd time had menudo, carne asada burrito and carne asada fries again not impressed and customer service poor again. read more

Ok this is a first review of this place, but I confess to having been there twice already. The soft tacos, at $2.75 each might seem pricey initially, but when you meet up with one face to face, you understand why. My carne asada and carnitas tacos I ordered were chock full of meat and pico de gallo! Unlike the taco-truck sized 4" tortillas, these are 6 inch tortillas with probably 3-4 times the meat than what you'd normally expect.. a carnivore's dream!! My son liked his chicken burrito and my daughter loved her enchiladas. I just hope this place sticks around, not that it really has any true competition from the nearby Taco Time and Taco Bell. Go.. Eat.. Cheap.. I am a SoCal transplant of 25 years. Lived in LA where there is lots of Mexican food and this is pretty good stuff. They have Machaca, Chorizo, Lengua, Barbacoa, Asada, Carnitas and Al Pastor. I understand they do Pozole on the weekends too. That's a little too ethnic for me! But if you love Azteca, or Taco Bell/Taco Time, this isn't the place for you. This is much more authentic, hot and fresh.. unless they are off their game that night. Don't go for the ambiance. This place doesn't have any. It's the old Taco Time, minus any semblance of decor. Purpose built and a bit cold. Food is there, they make it fresh and to order. That's it. Nothing more. This place is in the same area as the KFC/A&W and the Great American Casino on the northeast corner of 4th Ave and 128th Street.. exceptionally convenient off I-5, exit 186! Easy parking and they have a drive through too. read more

Love this Mexican food! Close to SoCal vibes and worth every bite!! Definitely check them out!

It's not the best Mexican fast food restaurant I've ever been to, but it is without a doubt the best I've been to this far from Mexico.

Used to getting scammed in Mexico?? Then get ready for this! You want an extra 2oz of lettuce.. 5$!! You want an extra Oz of sour cream also another 5$!!! Got a bunch of Mexicans playing dumb acting like they don't know what's going on, in reality they're adding on extra prices for any little thing they can. Stay away from this place! read more

I've driven past this place for years, always saying I'm going to try it. I finally did and it was as good as I was hoping it would be! I've been three times in a month if that tells you anything, always good food. Fast service and prices are very reasonable. They have the best chips and salsa I've ever had, it is now my go-to place when I am craving Mexican food. I've tried the chicken chimichanga plate and the steak plate so far and I have no doubt everything else is equally as good. They even have a drive through! Highly recommend when you have that Mexican food craving. read more

Great food and and drink will definitely go back when in the area. Staff was very friendly

This is hands down the best Mexican food I've had in Washington! I've missed this! The service is quick, the food plentiful, and the taste magnificent. It is truly a great and clean looking place with authentic cuisine. This will now be the only place I eat Mexican food. read more

WOW. Let me start by saying I've experienced authentic Mexican cuisine, Tex-Mex, Cali-Mex and any other variation from Washington down to Florida and I've never had a more consistent experience. The burritos are *USUALLY* large and certainly filled to the brim with toppings. I'm a huge fan of their breakfast burritos, the potatoes are crispy inside and the ratio of meat/potato/cheese/egg is fantastic. The salsa you get with each burrito is just the cherry on top of a spectacular feast in a tortilla. The bean and cheese burritos are creamy, Hearty and oh so cheesy, every bite a true testament to the munchie power of a plain bean and cheese burrito. These can be reheated so sometimes I pick up an extra one or two to make myself at home! The rice and beans can be a tad salty on days, that tells me each chef has their own personal style and I've recognized it in the burritos as well as rice and beans. It's not a bad thing, it reminds me of a trip to Mexico with my Grandpa where everywhere you went the same recipes had tweaks to make them more special than the next. Finally. Let's discuss the coup de grâce of Ralibertos, that is the silky, creamy yet somewhat spicy Horchata. You have not had a complete meal from Ralibertos until you finish it off with a glass of horchata. The Large can be shared-- but don't try sipping mine! Thank you Ralibertos for creating some of the most consistent Mexican food I've found in my last 8 years in Washington. read more

The food is always good, very authentic. However when we paid, the lady at the counter said 27.58. handed her our debit card and receipt said 57.58. when we caught it she immediately pulled 30.00 cash out of the drawer and handed it to us . No apology and she didn't even look at the receipt. Seemed very intentional . read more

This review is based solely on the breakfast burritos. We have tried every breakfast burrito that they make and they are all super delicious. My go-to is the egg and potato because I'm not big on meat, my husband loves the machaca. Easily the best breakfast burritos I have had since moving to the area! We are Southern California natives and these remind us of home! read more

Just the best burrito in the Everett area. We love this place. The burritos come with great spicy salsa. Very authentic! If you're looking for flashy margaritas and fancy ceviche, drive on by. But if you want no-nonsense, solid Mexican food, be sure to make a pit stop at Raliberto's in South Everett. Simple and unassuming on the inside and outside, Raliberto's didn't hold a lot of high expectations for me when I first visited. Now, however, it's one of our favorite stops for breakfast, lunch, dinner or late night snack. We've found that the quality and quantity of each meal is great for the price that we pay. A few favorites include: - California Burrito - My first time trying a California burrito! This hefty thing comes packed with carne asada and potatoes. I love how the crispness of the potatoes makes this so different from the typical bean burrito. - Enchiladas - The regular order comes out with two enchiladas for $5, but they also have the option for a combo that comes with rice and beans approximately $7. I typically go with the chicken enchilada - so good! - Carne Asada Fries - Once again, I'm a sucker for French fries. Add in carne asada, sour cream and guacamole and voila! Be sure to grab their two hot sauces (green and red) to add a little spice to this dish. - Breakfast Burritos - Great news, friends. Their breakfast burritos are available all day! (Yes, even until midnight!) Once again, you can choose what protein is inside - so far I've tried the chorizo, bacon and carne asada. I think the bacon and carne asada are my favorite, because while the chorizo is flavorful, the other tastes kind of get lost in it. Raliberto's menu is pretty straightforward with burritos, tacos, nachos and so on. I like that they offer a few combo options as well if you're looking for something a little extra for your meal. In terms of size, I typically have difficulty finishing one burrito before I'm completely stuffed. Be sure to ask for their hot sauces (I think the green is spicier?) and pickled veggies when you get it to-go! read more

Coming from San Diego, California where all the good mexican food chains are at is definitely what any Californians be craving for when moving to Northwest. Found this gem when I moved here and it has been my go-to when I crave Cali burrito since there's no other place I've been so far that has it. Took my fiancé here this morning to FINALLY have him get his craving of the "Robertos" style and authentic cali burrito that he's been craving for a while. The staff are friendly...just a little slow bec there's only one person cooking but be patient--it's all worth it! Sometimes they don't hear what I've ordered correctly and I get random food, but I enjoy it every time!

This place is a joke. Not once, not twice, not even three times, BUT FOUR TIMES they've messed up and order. They refused refunds and pretty much told us "sorry" and that we can order again for the correct burrito. How hard is it to order a veggie burrito and bean and cheese burrito, and somehow get one with meat and one that's just beans and lettuce? I'm never going back. I can't imagine how you're still in business. read more

Been going here for a bit, quality has taken a dive, the carne asada is pre cooked kept in a large metal container, and reheated. Guacamole used to have a lot of flavor, now it's weird and tasteless like it's just smashed avocados. The hot sauces they give you are probably the worst, taste like flavored water. No queso and just shredded cheese that's not melted on the nachos, and they don't carry chicken rolled tacos anymore just beef. read more

The food does remind you of a SoCal taco shop in a good way, especially with the carne asada fries and California burrito. I miss those carne asada fries down there so I ordered some delivery, as you can see I wound-up with nachos. The food is good for the price and it fills that nostalgia if you've ever lived in the San Diego area. This place is cool, but it'd be a lot cooler if the order was right. I'll try again because the food delivered was solid; hopefully it was just a mix-up and not just staff not really paying attention to tickets. read more

Raliberto's Taco Shop - Carne asada - Mexican Near Me - Everett, Washington

I'm a little disappointed. I ordered a carne asada burrito and I asked if they could make it a "wet" burrito. You know? The burritos with sauce, cheese and salsa melted on top? I also got a large Horchata. At the microphone area they said my total was about $15. Then I get to the window and he said sorry my total was actually over $18. I was thinking "how the heck can a burrito and drink cost over $18????". I asked him why it was so much and he said it was because I asked to make my burrito wet. The extra cheese costed more. I said thanks for letting me know. I get home and my burrito is cold, there's no cheese so I don't know what extra cheese he was talking about, and it was just straight up enchilada sauce poured on top. I was very dissatisfied. I know they're on the expensive side but you could spend that much at a restaurant and get rice and beans and chips with it. Oh and my horchata was $4.50. It's freaking rice milk and cinnamon! How?! read more

My gf has been looking for good Mexican food since moving here from San Diego. After many, many misses, Raliberto's is the only place she wants to keep going back to. Anyway, highly recommend!! read more

This place fondly reminds me of the taco shops I used to frequent when I lived in Phoenix. Drive through or a small dining room, the food is cooked up quick and it is delicious. I got a chorizo breakfast burrito that was crispy and greasy in all the best ways. There was definately a greater proportion of chorizo than eggs which is just what you want. The salsa Verde was spicy and delicious. Only reason this wasn't a five star review was because of the Styrofoam cups - come on, it is 2021! I lived in San Diego for 5.5 years and have to say this is as close as you're going to get to a San Diego-style taco shop in the Northwest. If you're not familiar with that type of Mexican food and you come here expecting a "traditional" American-style Mexican restaurant, you are going to be disappointed. The California burrito is great, the best in the Northwest. The only thing I changed was to add sour cream on the inside. The carne asada has the perfect flavor and the pico is not overpowering. The carne asada fries are excellent - I could have eaten the whole plate by myself (I probably will next time). My girlfriend had the rolled tacos, I wasn't very impressed by them. They were kind of dry and didn't have much flavor. The second time we went she ordered the street tacos and those really delivered. The restaurant is kind of run-down and the parking lot is weird, but the burritos and carne asada fries are well worth it. I recommend eating in or eating your food immediately after ordering it - this isn't the kind of food you want sitting around for 10 min. I will be back for more. read more

Raliberto's taco shop has great food. Staff is great. This place is very authentic and clean.

Okay, so for all us transplanted Californians now living in Western WA, a common complaint we have is that there is just no good Mexican food up here. I'm not talking about sit down restaurants with table service (although, those suck too!), I'm talking about small, privately owned, hole in the wall (I mean that in a good way!), Mexican restaurants primarily catering to the takeout business. Let's face it, we never realized how good we had it in California, especially So Cal where Mexican restaurants are on every street corner like a 7-Eleven. I've been living in the Everett-Lynnwood area for 6 years now and not until Raliberto's opened a couple of years ago, did I ever think I'd find good Mexican food. Granted, there are some good Taqueria trucks out there and Memo's is passable, like methadone is to a heroin addict, but Raliberto's is the real deal! Huge portions of great food at very reasonable prices. I agree that they aren't real fast like some reviewers have stated, but that's because everything is made to order. I've never understood why people bash small restaurants like this for being slow. It's not that slow, I've never had to wait for more than 10-15 minutes. If you want your food within 3-4 minutes from ordering it, Taco Bell is right up the street, go knock yourself out! It's people that bitch about that stuff that is ruining takeout restaurants and turning them into bland clones of one another that prepare their food in assembly line fashion. Stop it! Anyway, enough of me complaining and onto the food. Everything is good from Chile Rellenos, Chimichangas, Enchiladas, Fajitas and plates of Carne Asada or Carnitas. They also serve more traditional stuff like Menudo (weekends only) and Americanized things like Burritos, Nachos and Carne Asada Fries (really good btw). But, it is the tacos that really stand out. The Carne Asada and Carnitas Tacos are huge and awesome tasting. I've never been disappointed with the tacos and I pretty much can't go more than a week without a couple! The breakfast burritos are great too, especially the Chorizo Breakfast Burrito. So, in summary, great food at great prices. Really, what more can you ask for in a good Mexican restaurant. read more
