I couldn't find the popcorn and ran into two workers talking in the grocery area. The lady saw me waiting for her to finish talking because she looked directly at me. She and the guy decided to just walk away and finish their discussion without asking if I needed help. This was so rude of both of them. Learn to treat your customers better! I'm excited for Raleys' new additions to their bakery. With the rising costs for sweet treats I have been making my kids cut back on us going out for every sweet tooth craving. I was happy to see that we have cheaper similar alternatives to their cookie addiction. They offer a limited supply of flavors in their case daily or you can give a 48 hour notice for a custom order. This bakery is a must stop while I'm entertaining. Their fruit cakes and tarts are a must have for dessert options at my house when I host company for dinner. This store is beautiful and clean as almost every Raleys I've set foot in. I'll be back for a dozen of these cookies to try. When I stopped by last week it was to pick up an order of cupcakes, a fruit tart and some wine. Their wine selection is impressive as well btw. They have their Something Extra rewards app where they give you coupons on what you buy. It's totally worth it and I'm obsessed. Download and save yourself some money; thank me later. read more

I normally don't leave Yelp reviews, but I feel the need to warn other parents about a troubling experience at this Raley's (2389 Wingfield Hills Rd, Sparks). One of the courtesy clerks -- a man who appears to be in his mid-30s, has reddish hair, glasses, average height, and a somewhat nerdy demeanor -- has repeatedly tried to give my 2-year-old daughter a fist bump. I've asked him clearly and directly four separate times to stop. Despite that, he continues to approach her. Most recently, he walked up to my wife and daughter when I wasn't next to them. The moment he saw me nearby, he noticeably backed off and looked like he recognized me -- as if he knew he shouldn't be doing it but was trying to get away with it when I wasn't around. That kind of behavior is extremely unsettling as a parent. I've already reported this to store management and asked that it be taken seriously. Regardless of intent, when an adult repeatedly ignores boundaries set by a parent, it crosses a line. It makes me feel uncomfortable and concerned for my child's safety. read more

I was shocked when I went into Raley's today. Between the huge reduction of products and the absurd hike in prices I don't have to ever go back there. I've been shopping at Raley's for over 50 years but no more. It's really sad. One thing they have a ton of stock for is booze, that's just pathetic! Raleys in Wingfield: SCROLL through these pics I've posted...I am not posting this just to degrade Raley's, I am hoping that by putting this out there that it makes Raleys want to do better. I shop at this Raleys all the time. This is the dairy and the meat department, there is no reason that these refrigerators and freezers should be this dirty, EVER. On top of this, I still keep finding expired food in more than one place in the dairy section. I've talked to a manager in the past, I've actually talked to the guy that I always see filling the refrigerators, but nothing changes. RALEYS: please train your employees better on health code, teach them to FIFO the food, remove, expired product, and for God's sakes please clean the refrigerators and the shelves that the food we buy is left on. Raley's hosted a killer event last week in their liquor department featuring about 10 different barrels they've picked across a range of brands. The lineup was impressive and the samples free flowing, making it a great opportunity to discover some new brands and expressions, as well as put their picker's palates to the test. I must say, they did an excellent job selecting some unique barrels and I found quite a few to love that have landed on my wish list. Seeing Jeff Kilbourn, spirits department manager, in action was awesome. He was out shaking hands, welcoming guests, and keeping track of the favorites from the crowd. He was building some great whiskey community around all of these picks and I loved meeting local spirits fans too. Doing this more often would be a great way to bring more attention to his already well put together program at this store! I hope to see many more of these events in the future. Pick up- I moved to Raleys pick up during Covid and have remained a loyal customer since. They will text when something is out of stock or about substitutions. Picking up they are always friendly. When you spend $100 (which is so easy in today's day and age) the personal shopper fee is waived! I've used several grocery pick ups and this one is the best. Shopping in Raleys - once in awhile I choose to do my own shopping (the horror) but Raleys is always well organized and clean. read more

i do not like to leave bad reviews I don't know how many times ive driven all the way out to that store to purchase something only to get to the register to find out that the price on the item I am attempting to purchase is miss priced and they cannot honor their mistake of a missed price item. Staff is friendly and nice! But...I am not a big fan of this clipped coupon/digital coupon thing. It was really hard to figure out how to do it even though I downloaded their app. I almost missed out on a $20 off on there pork shoulder deal. You have to watch the screen very carefully and I feel really sorry for the cashier who hast to deal with All of this as well. I'd rather just go with easy to put in your phone number or you get your coupons that are on the ad and there's no clipping of coupons as you try to go through the store. Their produce is great and has a good selection of fruits, vegetables as well as herbs. Did not give 5 stars due to the prices being much higher than other stores but the quality is definitely better than the rest. They also carry items that you usually have to get at specialty markets which is a bonus to not have to traipse all over town for a few ingredients. This Raley's needs to teach its employees some manners. I was in there for 5 minutes and had an emergency and had to leave. I put my one Item down quickly and headed for the exit. I was approached by a rude employee who accused me of stealing. I told him I put my item down and had to leave. If I would have had the time I would have reported him to the managers and filed a law suit. This guy needs to go! I have never been treated so badly by a peon worker who obviously needs to be in a different job. I will never return to this location. read more

This grocery store is great. It's close to our house but not our go-to place, so it seems like a special treat to stop in. My husband's work gave out $100 Raley's gift cards at their 2019 Christmas party, and we recently made time to go together to spend our loot. Raley's is one of the more expensive grocery stores, but I was pleased that we got a very full cart of items, and the bill was only a little over $100. This location is set up well. Nothing seems cluttered. The aisles are nice and wide, which is especially important in coronatide. I love that the flower and balloon display and fruit are the first things one sees upon entering. Happy items! The meat and bakery corners are also nicely organized and stocked. The "ethnic food" aisle has way more items that any other mainstream grocery store. Although we love our Safeway on Vista, this Raley's has a much bigger selection of the things we like, including the very particular kind of frozen veggies that my husband prefers and a wide range of sausages. There was a gin and tonic end cap display that made me smile because it was so delightful! The checkout lanes are not very deep, but the young people who staff them do a great job of moving people out quickly. Unlike other mainstream grocery stores (even almost-fancy ones like Safeway), there is always a dedicated packer person as well as a register person. I come to this Raley's because it's closest to me. First off, it's very clean in here. I feel like the produce is also clean and fresh. Of course everything in a Raley's is going to cost more than a Walmart or Target. You come here for quality products. If you get a rewards card, then there is a chance you can save some money. You also gain points that turn into real money to spend towards your purchase every year. Don't forget to make your online rewards account so you can clip exclusive savings offers. Also, this Raleys has a gas station next to it, so you can also use your rewards there. read more

I came there not too happy with how long it took to get service at Peet's. But after being patient we got amazing service from Glayda, and she was very happy to help. I love this location. The prices may be a little bit higher but they have wonderful produce. They always have a lot of organic fruits and vegetables. The assortment of fresh herbs is larger than most stores. The butcher department is wonderful. If you are ever in need of anything just ask, chances are they can order it. This store has a large variety of organics, gluten free, grain free, and refined sugar-free items without being a specialty store. Not to mention all the people who work here are amazing, friendly, and professional. Inside is also a little coffee shop with some pastries and doughnut. There offer several sandwiches, soups etc. The bakery is awesome. This store also carries a large assortment of specialty cheeses. This store often has opportunities to help those less fortunate in our community. They recently held a coat drive. Many years this location is also a Poll place for voting. Joshua at the deli/sandwich station is an asset to your company. From the moment of his greeting, making the sandwich, which I'm very picky about, making sure we had everything we needed, to receiving our payment, his great attitude never changed and just got better. Whatever happened to customer service? In their deli they advertise "fried chicken plate" for $6.99 - price includes 2 chicken strips / mashed potatoes & gravy / coleslaw/ roll / fountain drink. I'm told they "serve mashed potatoes & gravy after 4:00pm. You can have wedges instead. You can substitute coleslaw for potatoes..." I said "coleslaw comes with it..." Deli lady says "no it doesn't" She slides the box across the counter. I said "can I get my drink?" She just walked away. As I was discussing with the head clerk in front, an employee cuts into the middle of our discussion to ask "how do I get my free cupcake?" Right away she starts telling him about his reward points, walks away to a self checkout and gets him his free cupcake... Yup, taking care of the customer. Meanwhile, I had to pay for a drink also. I'm out almost $9 for 2 chicken strips, soggy potato wedges & a Lemonade. Been a Raley's/BelAir customer since 1973. I doubt I'll be back. If so, it won't be at this store... read more

This Raley's makes a pleasant shopping experience. The layout is nice and flows well and they have a great selection of gluten free items. I also totally enjoy their produce and Harris Ranch Beef selections. Top quality. I highly recommend their "Something Extra" rewards program. We have received checks occasionally for about $5 off as well as extra coupons just for being part of their program and making purchases there. Their prices as a whole are a bit higher than I can afford for my bigger shopping trips, but they do have some amazing sells all the time, too. read more

I have always enjoyed shopping at Raley's. Though their prices tend to be higher than other grocery stores, the quality of the goods they offer and their selection are usually very good. My husband and I were both home sick in November. That is when I discovered grocery delivery through the Raley's in Wingfield Springs. Kudos to them for offering delivery as several places would not deliver to our address. Delivery was always on time, with the correct items, and in good condition. It got us through a tough time. I realize the delivery is through an outside service, but Raley's did very well in checking with me on substitutions and letting me know of delays. This year I also ordered a precooked holiday dinner from them for Christmas. I ordered the Prime Rib dinner for $89.99. They had it ready for pickup at the designated time. It took about an hour to heat the food up. The prime rib was a decent size (the meal said it served 5-6 people...there were four of us and a few leftover slices). It was tender and seasoned just right. The meal came with baby broccoli with pine nuts, scalloped potatoes, carrots with a honey glaze, and sweet potatoes au gratin. The broccoli was good...your average steamed broccoli. The scalloped potatoes were very good...tender and very cheesy. The carrots tasted good, but were still a bit hard after following the microwave reheating instructions (would probably follow the 35 minute oven directions instead). I'm not a huge fan of sweet potatoes, but these were OK...soft and tasty. Not sure they were "au gratin" though...they had what looked like granola and cranberries in them, but no cheese that I could see. Overall my family was pleased with the quality of the dinner, the convenience, and the value. Definitely would order again or try one of their turkey dinners next time. I have only been in this store once, but it seemed clean and well organized. For COVID-19 compliance they have a separate entrance and exit. Hand sanitizer was also available and of course masks are required. Highly recommend this store! read more

Favorite location in Reno, Sparks by far! This example below is just one instance of why. I went in looking for a bottle of alcohol that I needed for a holiday drink. There was no more on the shelf so I asked an employee named Kandace if they were located somewhere else. She asked a gentleman to check in the back. I cannot remember his name unfortunately. I feel horrible. Anyway, while he was doing that, Kandace got someone to cover the self check out to help look for the bottle. She finally found it in the back to learn it was locked up. The gentleman ran to get keys from the manager to get it unlocked. He literally ran the whole time. I've never felt so accommodated in a grocery store ever. These people really do go over and beyond. Raleys is the closest grocery store to our house. It definitely is not the cheapest, but it is convenient. Here are my pros and cons. Pros: 1. So close to home. 2. Store is always immaculate. 3. Great selection of meat and veggies 4. Clerks are extremely helpful. 5. There is always a handicap cart , and it is charged and working. Cons: 1. Prices are usually higher than the other chains 2. It's the easiest store since it's right next to my house. Their quality of food is great! I never have any complaints about the food or employees themselves. My biggest complaint is they are ALWAYS out of stuff. Their shelves never are full, always missing many items. It looks like the aisles are empty with everything pushed back. There's always at least one or two items I cannot get since they are out of it. I hope they can get their deliveries more often or maybe hire more people to work on shelving. read more

This grocery store is in the neighborhood. At first we came by when we needed something and didn't want to drive more into Sparks. (My wife usually does most of the grocery shopping at Walmart on Pyramid.) But we've found that the selection of food is good and though the prices at first seemed more expensive, it has become more easy and not that more expensive (especially when you consider the time and extra miles to get elsewhere). The staff there always is friendly and has helped me on occasion to find something that I've looking for. Their selection for produce and staples is really good with a nice variety of brands. They have a butcher counter as well as a deli counter. We've come to use their deli when we are interested in a sub sandwich (much better than Subway or Ports of Call...although a bit more expensive). They also have a good selection of take home salads and sides to go with ready made meals (e.g., meat loaf and deep-fried chicken strips). I only am rating them 4 stars because of the bit of price difference you might find, but I'm sold on it being a good place to get the groceries when you need them. read more
