My modest purchase of canned taro-flavored boba drinks and a can of diced tomatoes.
Myrna S.

I rarely get to go to Raley's because it's normally out of my way but when I am in the neighborhood, I love to drop in just to see what they have. I especially love going to their deli because they have great ready-made food. During this visit, I actually needed some diced tomatoes for my spaghetti but I also bought some taro flavored drinks because I love taro-flavored drinks and I've tried this brand before too. The store is always so neat and orderly, and well-stocked plus employees are normally friendly.

This location has become my favorite Raleys, and I've been to almost all the Raleys in the area; just need to remember to check in next time, At any rate, I love this location for the following reasons. First, the store is spacious. Yes, the North Hills location is spacious as well but not as spread out as this one. I like that it's takes me a good 2 minutes to leisurely stroll from one end (let's say, the bakery) to the other, where the ice cream freezer is against the wall and the fruits and vegetables are. This may not be appealing to some people but hey, I like to get my exercise in when I can! Plus, the aisles are wider, in my opinion, than in other locations. Second, they are usually stocked up on what I need, whether it be meats, household items or fruits and vegetables, but especially their promotional items. Third, the cashiers are always friendly. As for other staff, I've only had the pleasure to interact with the lady at the the floral center and she was just a delight. Overall, shopping here is a pleasant experience in a pleasant environment. Recommend? Yes!! Return? Yes!!

This is our favorite Raley's in town. The store itself is organized and well stocked. The employees are very friendly. The deli is amazing for grabbing dinner or any catering needs. Don't forget to come by on Mondays for their $5 weekly sale items!

OMG!!! This place is awesome!! There is a sizzling wok inside, I bought a chunk of BBQ pork they cut for me. So good. If you drink, they have a large variety of alcoholic beverages. They always have the best fruits & vegetables. The bakery & baked goods were to die for, literally. I'm diabetic & HAD to buy a fruit tart so delish!! I would recommend this store & I will definitely return every time there's an appointment in the area.

Good quality stuff and the prices are reasonable. I'm tired of other supermarkets that offer such poor quality stuff.

Great star reviews, so we decided to go try it. 1st off when we walked in, it was busy. There was the sweetest 2 ladies taking orders, but the lady with the glasses was the hugest help being our 1st time there. I ordered the biscuit and gravy burrito OMG the bomb. It was so delicious. Loved every thing about it. Now my husband ordered off the build your own menu. Turkey, ham, smoked cheddar, black olives, purple onion, Jalapeños and in house made pickles. Mustard, pesto sauce and horseradish sauce in a wrap. He said he'd not had a lunch like that in a long time. It was awesome to have an excellent meal. Now we did get to talk to Marissa the manager. She was working hard and was the sweetest. She thanked us for giving them a 1st try. Oh we will be life long customers from our experience today. I'd give them 10 if it was allowed!!

This was not even my first time here, and it definitely won't be my last. Great food, great service, as always.

The selection of meats was great, but the marinaded carne asada was a little more than I was expecting, but it was so good after we grilled it up. We are on our search for a good spot for lunch. We really love Mexican food. Carnitas is our choice…read moreof meat so we usually will order either street tacos or a meat only burrito. So we came here to try their food. I'll start with the market. The meat dept is stocked pretty good with a lot of different marinated and cooked meats. Seeing that we figured the lunch to be pretty good. I ordered 3 carnitas street tacos and my wife ordered meat only carnitas burrito. I'll be honest we have a favorite spot in Phoenix,AZ that we go to frequently when down there so our review is being compared to their food. So comparing the two here we go. This places carnitas was pretty tasteless. Just didn't have much flavor. So my wife's burrito was probably lacked the size compared to AZ. In AZ they ask you when building their burrito what you want ie. Salsa on top of the meat before they wrap it. Then ask you if you need more. If so you just tell them how many in a decent size container. Here she asked us if we wanted two. So we got our two. I don't know if that was all we were suppose to get. But my street tacos could have used at least 2 for my three tacos. But the burrito could have used 4 by itself. I went back in to get two more and I swear they we being really tight on giving out anymore. I finally received two more small containers of salsa. I was willing to pay. They declined the idea of paying and gave me two for our lunch we had paid for. Next is no seating so it's take out only. Not something we were looking for but it is what it is. So for us it's not a place we are looking for. AZ is putting a high bar to compare to but if we're laying down $20+ for two then the bar has to be closely reached. This place did not come close. I hope if the owner reads this he'll realize that a simple thing like enough salsa is simple in keeping a customer returning. Salsa is cheap if you want a return customer.

I ordered a half size and was pleasantly surprised by the large portion size. There was a good amount of meat included on the sandwich as well. My husband dropped me off to run inside as there weren't any available parking spots nearby. It also took me a sec to realize the storefront is in the back of the building from California Street. Both indoor and outdoor seating was available. We did online ordering which was a very smooth process. The app allows you to customize pretty much anything that you would like to on the sandwich which was great. It was very user friendly. The order was ready to go by the estimated time. The price is high - two sandwiches (1 whole and 1 half) were over $30. No chips or drink added.

Greetings my little festerlings!…read more When Jersey Mike's was first introduced into my area, years back, I wasn't really too excited. Figured it to be another fad restaurant that would slowly fade away (like 5 guys should..yuk!). Not really a big sandwich person most of the tme. But I still remember my first time walking into one. It was my first visit where I knew I had it all wrong! I ate there a bunch of times after, because I worked in the same strip mall. Next to Hello Deli which is located in Vista California, and Quiznos, Jersey Mike's is the best sub shop out there! So first I'll say, I haven't had Jersey Mike's in a couple of years at least, and I was delighted to realize that my points have never expired! Matter of fact, after my purchase today, I already have an upcoming reward. So let's get to the review of this particular location by Scheels. I came in on a Sunday around 2 O'Clock or so, and they were pretty busy. Most of the tables taken by eager patrons. Two girls behind the counter and one guy behind the flat top. After using the restroom to wash my hands because I've been working with chemicals (which was clean for the most part) I got in line to make my order. I only had one girl in front of me and then two more customers behind me. I don't understand everyone's angst with the amount of time that it takes. I mean they have to slice the meat and cheese, it's not like walking into 7-Eleven and grabbing one of those rat sandwiches from the bunker fridge. So yeah it took a little bit of time, But I'm not in a hurry, not like I have an appointment with the president or something today. The first girl got my order started. I ordered a giant number 13 with roast beef. She started on two customers sandwiches that were in line behind me. Yes, efficient for them, and no I didn't mind. Now I've been told I have sort of an intimidating presence. The next girl who finished assembling my sandwich was either slightly disorganized, new or maybe nervous. I had to ask her a few times for the same things on my sandwich, and it seemed like she was trying to rush me through because she got immediately to the juice and was about to button my sandwich up when I had to ask her for mayonnaise and relish. But she pulled it through and got it done, got my sandwich, took it home and ate half, and willl probably eat the other half today. I think my total time in line was maybe 10 minutes? Anyhow, the sandwich was great, I got a freebie coming up, and it was nice to have a Jersey Mike's sub after all these years. I'm sure I'll be back again sometime! ***DISCLAIMER*** This pure, uncut, honest review is federally protected under Federal Law by way of Bill #EO14149.
