We don't often get to shop at Raley's only because the two store locations that I know are (inconveniently) located away from any of our homes; but we were in the neighborhood, so we dropped by. The store wasn't overly crowded when we got there but there was a handful of customers walking about. The store was a good size with a good variety of inventory. I especially like their deli because the food looks so fresh; in fact, the whole store looked so clean and orderly. They are a bit pricey but they carry higher quality products, so I guess it balances out. The employees are nice enough so overall, we had a positive shopping experience. read more

The store is clean, they're always well stocked, and most of the staff is kind and helpful. I would give the place five stars if it wasn't for their manager, . She is beyond rude and condescending when it comes to speaking to or making them feel welcome in the store. If you don't look or sound a certain way, she will profile you. It seems that every time an employee or customer speaks to her, she only sees it as another chance to flaunt her holier than thou attitude- even about something as trivial as which door you use to enter the store during regular hours. Everything is shit here. The improvements they made should have got the lead for that fired and blacklisted from design. Robb Drive got a MASSIVE overhaul and looks wonderful. This is an old store and needs some updates. They are really expensive. Sometimes you can find a good deal if you clip the coupons in the app but for the most part I only shop here when I only need a few things. I do like their produce and meat department though. Worst customer service ever. I live in hidden Valley and use Raley's several times a week. I just wish somebody would work on their customer service. Rude, rude, rude. I purchased a $7 dollar French bread. I like to have it sliced the person working at the deli said " I don't know how to use that machine" Slice it yourself. The store really needs to be upgraded. It feels old and not up to par of the other Raley's locations. And with the prices they charge I would expect them to invest in all their locations. I suggest going somewhere else to shop ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I have been a loyal customer since I moved in the area a year ago. Today I'm in line behind a lady who's arguing over a 40-cent coupon Now there are three or four people in line behind me so I am pinned in. 2 other Checkers come out I believe one is a manager in a blue shirt to help with the line. Instead of picking my 6 items up off the conveyor belt and putting them into his line (he is right next to them) they just grab the other people in line before I can even speak up and say I'm next ! They're already checking the others out I'm still in line & this ladies arguing over a 47 Cent coupon. Everybody else is gone out of the store and the checkers leave. I didn't put in my phone number this time because I WON'T BE BACK. Either one of these Checkers including the manager could have grabbed my six items off the conveyor belt and check them out so I could have gone first that would have been the right thing to do ! Sandwiches, Sammy's, hoagies, heroes, , subs, we all love two slices of bread with meat and produce between them. Sourdough, dutch crunch, French, brioche, ciabatta, etc etc etc......the bread doth make the sandwich. This Ralley's is having issues getting bread to their "bakery". I would suggest going to another Railey's until this one has it's issues sorted out.. I enjoy my dagwood way too much to destroy it on a French roll! read more

I love Raley's, but I dislike this store so much. The front end is the most unfriendly group most of the time. The store manager is not doing their job well here. The products are outdated often and the produce is usually very sad looking. I shop here only when I have to and because it's the only grocery store nearby. read more

This Raley's gives me the hee-bee jeebies because it's all different and backwards to me but it'll do in a pinch, sometimes. I'm still used to it being Scolari's and it's nothing like the Raley's on Wedge which I go to quite often. Anyhoo, it was super cool the other day I bought a couple of cantaloupes from Raley's and I know it's not cantaloupe season but I bought them anyways. They were hard as rocks and I had to throw them out. I went back to this Raley's on my way home from work and told them what happened. They exchanged two melons free of charge. It was pretty awesome, nice customer service action that was done. I told the cashier and he asked another guy and I got to walk out with two more cantaloupes. Of course, they weren't good either but it was the service I appreciated! Thank you! read more

I love this store!!! I stop here every day on my way home to get my daily needs. I know alot of the employees personally and Kevin and Ashley are always super nice and helpful. They go out of their way to help and always take time to ask how my day is going. It gives the store a very homey and comfortable feeling for me. Efrain at the Mira Loma store in Reno, Nevada is the best Butcher in town. He is always friendly, nice and accommodating,. He is always willing to slice the bone in ham for my wife and I, he picks out the best cuts of meat, gets the best lobsters and maintains a very clean shop and delicious looking foods In the glass refrigerator. This place is one of the highest priced grocery in reno/sparks Area . I stopped in for the first time I had about 17 maybe 18 items the lazy mooded clerk told me this is for 15 and under I could see if there were people there but there was no one in line so I went to the other lady she was not very pleasant . I tried again. I'm not sure why this store sucks so bad and can't get it together but it does. I came here today in search of a pumpkin pie. (It is that season, you know). I searched the bakery department and came up empty handed, so I searched the frozen foods hoping to find a frozen one I could bake myself... not even a place for it on the shelf... I returned back to the bakery department to ask about when they would be having pies and the employees LIED to me... stating there has been a huge pumpkin recall and that last years pumpkins didnt do well in the field and that they won't have pumpkin pie for at least two weeks if that. I asked if this was all the Raleys and was told yes. Then I left the store empty handed and decided to look up this "pumpkin recall" but there is no recall at all! I called several bakeries in town and they have pies in stock, have not heard of a pumpkin recall... so just for my own curiosity I called the Raleys on Robb Dr. and guess what?! They have frozen pumpkin pies in stock and have pies on the shelf AND they have not heard of a pumpkin recall either... I don't know why they just lied to me, but if you plan to do your holiday shopping here this year and have pumpkin pie on your list, skip this store for sure! It will at least save you an extra trip when you have to go to another store to buy everything you need. read more

This Raley's is very close by, and so it's a good choice when I need groceries. The staff are always in an amazing mood, and they greet you like they're actually happy to see you. This store is well lit every aisle is very bright And well stocked unlike Food Source. The employees don't waste your time, and if you get to check out and realize that you forget something they are more than happy to have a courtesy clerk run And grab that item for you. The staff here do not take their time and unlike some other stores they are not slow. Most of them seem to really enjoy their jobs and i've talked to about five or six of them personally who have told me that they would not have any other job. read more

I'm usually a big fan of Raley's but this particular location didn't live up to the Raley's standard for me. When I first walked in, the configuration of the store didn't make very much sense. It seemed like the front of the store was very crammed together while the aisles were huge. The shelves didn't seem to be very stocked and they didn't have a lot of options, as opposed to other locations. The staff was very friendly and greeted me with a smile, but I didn't spend much time in this Raley's. Unfortunately they didn't have what I was looking for and the entire store had a dim, depressing quality, so I tried to get out of the store as quickly as possible. I was really disappointed because in my experience, Raley's usually has a lot more options than other types of chain grocery stores, but that was not the case with this one. I would most likely drive to a further location than visit this Raley's location again. read more

I am in Reno this week teaching a class @ the AGC building. I needed lunch for 40 students for Tuesday. I hit the deli counter @ the Store Monday afternoon, met the manager of the dept. Rob Peterson, he saved the day! He suggested four different deli sandwiches, Ham, Salami, Roast Beef and Turkey. Rob and his team put together 40 deli sandwiches with less than a days notice, separated the lettuce and tomato within the sandwich to keep them from getting soggy, and had the entire order ready for me to pick up @ 11:30 Tuesday am. Best experience with a DELI anywhere! Rob and his team put together a great lunch for us, and the students in the class all raved about the sandwiches, and asked where we had sourced them! Rob and the Deli team @ Raleys, 3310 S McCarran Blvd, Reno, earned 5 stars for customer service, execution and delivery of a great product! read more

I went into Raleys the other week to get some Dr Pepper and grenadine. I asked one of the managers, I think her name was Ashley, to help me locate the grenadine. She was super nice & even recommended coconut cream and lime juice to go with the Dr Pepper. I had a great experience at this store. read more

This store is so terrible that it caused me to create a Yelp account, just so I could voice my displeasure. I mean when this used to be Scolari's it wasn't that great, but Raley's really made it their mission to take it down a notch, I understand that there is a bit of a process when transitioning but its been enough time now and things don't seem to be getting better. The shelves often look bare but not because product is flying off the shelves but because they don't have much of a selection, and it looks like they don't like to put much on the shelves to begin with. The checkout process is slow, long gone are the self checkout's which used to make life so convenient, and there never seems to be more than 1 or 2 cashiers working even when there is a line of people. Lastly the store just looks run down, it looks like Raley's stripped all the life out of the old Scolari's and didn't have a plan to much effort into this new take over, this store is near my house but to be honest it would be more convenient and probably faster to go somewhere else, and it would definitely be less irritating. read more

Normally, I go to the Raley's at Galena, but this 'new' one is closer to work so I'll swing by fairly often. I get that it's a converted Scolari's, so its appearance could use an update when compared to other Raleys, but it's not too bad. Over the last few months, they've gotten a lot better at keeping the shelves stocked -- no more entire sections of aisles being 75% empty. The particular brands that I know I can find at Raley's are present. The meat/poultry/seafood areas are a bit smaller than what I'm used to. Biggest shortcoming is the lack of self checkout, but at least this location isn't very busy most of the time. Biggest plus is the deli counter -- I get the sandwiches quite often for lunch -- they don't cheap out on the meat and are of good quality. There's a Port of Subs next door, and I choose Raley's deli 10 out of 10 times. read more

Raleys ecart: grocery delivery 2152087 due 6pm-7pm tonight. At 7:15 I called ecart to inquire whereabouts. It was still in store and ready, waiting for driver. No apology given. Still not here at 9pm. Called again. She said everything was enroute. Got an apology after asking for one. Order finally arrived at 9:45pm. I asked driver why. She basically told me not to blame her...it was Raleys. Delivery service stunk too. I got a text at 7:30 saying my delivery was SLIGHTLY delayed. Then she arrived more than 2 hours later. ***BEWARE! DON'T BUY THE SEAFOOD***Bought 1lb of mussels and most of it tasted rotten. Had to toss them in the trash. Money down the drain. Raleys supposed to have fresh seafood, meat, and produce but doesn't seem like it. I won't ever get my seafood from here again ever. I would rather take a drive to Smith's or WinCo. The only thing change is the name of the store. Raleys at this location is off to a bad start and I hope they change. read more
