Going back to my original stance. Great customer service from 1-2 people cannot make up for what's going on here. I called in three prescriptions on Wednesday, January 28th and one more a few days earlier on the 25th. I am notified that the first prescription is ready, but then wait for confirmation for the other 3 so I won't have to make multiple trips. By February 2nd, I've heard nothing, while simultaneously receiving texts that this is my last reminder to pick up my medication. I call the pharmacy ask about the rest of the medications I requested to refill, and am informed that all 3 were filled, and then PUT BACK without ever informing me. So with little to no medication left, I am then told I must reorder my prescriptions and wait even longer. The reason provided for putting all my prescriptions back was because I lost my insurance and that, "They have to reach out to confirm whether you still want to pay the out of pocket price." I was NEVER contacted. This was met with an apathetic "Okay." So basically, this pharmacy filled all my prescriptions, only kept the ones they thought I could afford and put all the ones over $100 back, without ever contacting me, and then offer zero apology, or any empathy at that. Nothing is MORE IMPORTANT than my medication--I was more than willing to pay the out of pocket costs. The fact that this is treated so flippantly when my medication produces withdrawal effects is so obscene to me. These people DO NOT care about your wellbeing. I cannot imagine the thought process of, "Well these are quite expensive, we'll just put his medication back without telling him." Nothing less than complete incompetence and absurdity. Getting the medication I need then immediately am going to start looking for alternatives. Never again. Side note: You ask before you put someone on hold. This is elementary customer service knowledge. "I need to put you on hold," then slamming the phone down is laughably unprofessional. read more

I don't understand why their score is on low. I have been using Raley's pharmacy for about 7 years now. I don't get a lot of prescriptions but enough here and there with 3 kids. The front staff often know me by name and are very kind to my children, often offering them a sticker. They even knew my husband (who's maybe been there once before) and asked about my kids. The pharmacist is kind and personable. I appreciate the later hours as I am not a morning person myself. I've found that Raley's is the closest thing to the old school, locally owned, mom and pop pharmacies of the past. read more

I am very happy with Raley's pharmacy! In fact, its service is the best in Petaluma. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They always answer the phone in a timely manner and are courteous when I pick up my prescription. I would also like to give a special shout out to Mike, who is one of the pharmacists. DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY. I wish I could give zero stars because one is too high. They are horrible and extremely rude. If you call anytime later than 12 about filling a prescription they will treat you with zero respect. I recently had surgery and any time I needed to call about picking up my meds they questioned me and treated me like I was a scum bag. They don't have the right to ask some of the questions they do and today was my last straw. Hands down worst pharmacy I have ever used and I highly advise you to not waste your time. I'm shocked at the negative reviews. I have used Raley's pharmacy in Petaluma for years. I have had nothing but good experiences. I've never had to wait in a long line like you do at CVS, every employee has been courteous and attentive. They always pick up if I call with a question. They offer easy curbside pick up for seniors and people with disabilities. I have gotten my Covid, flu and shingles vaccines here and the pharmacists giving the shots are so good at what they do. Very professional in every way. Re the negative reviews, I wonder what kind of behaviors you exhibited to get perceived negative treatment. I also think everyone's tolerance for any inconvenience has become very low during the pandemic. Please be courteous, and that's what you'll get back. read more

Pharmacy put me on hold for 10mins, I understand being busy but then after talking to them they hung up on me after complaining to me about being busy and short staffed, I've been a customer for years and go there regularly for my blood pressure meds and they treated me like I was no one. I was hung up on and treated rudely 3 times in two days!!! And they still didn't fill my over due meds that I was completely out of and told me to wait till Monday to get the scrip filled!!!! Who does that!! Do not move your scrips here there in a downwards spiral!!! They cut there hours and closed on Sundays now!! They open late and close early!!! Worst pharmacy in Petaluma!!! I use to love this pharmacy but now I'm pulling my scrips!!! read more

Pharmacy is the worst, I shop at the store that has the best pharmacy. I promise you no matter what you need for medicine, the first thing the Chinese Pharmacist working there will say n we can't do that. Sad Petaluma has so few options for pharmacies. Lucky's used to have the best pharmacists in town named Kevin, but now the every day pharmaceutics there is just as bad as Raleys. This sucks, I now have to fo to cvs because the grocery store pharmacies hire horrible people. read more

Pharmacy does not honor RX Coupons for out of pocket medications. I almost went into cardiac arrest after finding the price of my eye drops was $291. The pharmacist kindly suggested that I go home and print out a rx coupon and bring it back for a price adjustment. I ran home and came right back where I was informed that they couldn't return it because I had left the store, and did not apply the coupon for $130 price that I had brought. The cleric acted like I was putting her out for even asking I've been a loyal Raleys customer since they opened and always recommended them to others. No More. They lost me as a customer and I will no longer recommend the store. Talk about insult to injury. Safeway honors the coupons as does CVS at much better prices. Long wait to pick up a script. Under staffed and not efficient. No one was there when I was so I'm not sure what the long wait was caused by? Phone orders and paper work seem to take precedence over customers standing at the counter. I need to find a new pharmacy. read more

The store itself is great. The pharmacy lately has the worst service. The lady dispatching at the pharmacy takes for ever. While the address on the computer is resolving someone else issue......... help the next person In Line in meanwhile. I waited 15 minutes in line then to get there and they tell me my daughter insurance was never saved when I've picked up meds in the past for her, that's very frustrating especially them to say they need another 10 to 15 minutes to run it. They need to be supervised and pushed in training. They used to be great in the past but again they get slack and get off track. read more

The RX department is the worst experience I have EVER had. The pharmacist was rude, didn't inform me of price changes. Didn't accommodate at all. I would seriously advice never dropping a prescription off at this establishment EVER. You will be seriously disappointed. read more

What has happened to the pharmacy!!! Everyone I knew is gone and what happened to wonderful Rose? The wait is ridiculous and then they don't seem to know what they're doing. The "pharmacist" they have now acts like she's at a party. When you're not feeling well and just want to get your medicine you're not in the mood for that. Major training is needed. I've never actually had a prescription filled yet by them but I got sick of the CVS on McDowell Blvd and decided to give them a try. The prescription my Dr. sent to them turned out to be hard to get. They didn't have it and probably weren't going to get it. They offered to call around for me. They faxed my Dr. several times and never got a response (make me wonder about my Dr.). I finally found a pharmacy that had the med and before I could ask them to fax the prescription to the other pharmacy, they offered again to check around for me. This is in stark contrast to the CVS pharmacy on McDowell. They are a busy pharmacy with long lines, gruff staff and didn't offer any help at all. read more
