At checkout they rang up at $1.00 per can: $24.00 instead of $14.16. We were told the sale had "ended yesterday," but the stickers were still on the cases. This wasn't one stray sticker. There's a 5' x 6' display full of these cases, all still marked with the sale price. Every shopper walking past it is being misled the same way. We shop here regularly and generally like this store, but leaving expired sale stickers up on an entire display isn't okay!

This last Tuesday I finally decided to come on in and check this place out. I never did go to the…read moreold store, but I knew they built a new one and I've been eager to try it. So this past taco Tuesday I thought would've been a great time to go ahead and do that. Walking in I couldn't believe how clean it is inside and how nice they arranged everything is it's so modern and very spacious. As you walk up, the menu is up above you and you kinda look at what you want. All the cooks are in the back doing their business. As I waited to place my order, I noticed the lady ahead of me that was ordering was having several issues making her payment with the server that was behind the register. It took long enough where I had to go to the register next to me with the same server because another person had to come up and resolve the issue. Little did, I realize that this server had very little experience and she must've been a new hire because she seemed lost. A real deer in the headlights look in her face. I placed my order and she had a really hard time understanding me. She brought me the wrong beer and couldn't seem to understand what I was wanting. It dawned on me that she doesn't speak English. However, I speak enough Spanish to where it should've been easy enough for her to understand what I was wanting. So I ordered two Carnitas tacos and a Modelo Especial for my sister and the same thing for myself, except I wanted a strip of chicharrone. Assuming she understood what I was wanting I paid for my food on the little kiosk that they have. It looked a little strange on the kiosk like the order was confused but I thought OK whatever I'm sure they'll get it right. Sitting down, I kept looking at my receipt thinking this isn't correct. But I thought I'll just work it out when the order comes. Which took forever to come. I'm not sure what the issue is, but the order took forever to get. It took long enough that I walked up to the counter and kind of stood there hoping they they'd get the hint. But nobody did. Everybody before me, and after me kept getting their orders and I'm just standing there. You would think somebody would say something and say can I help you sir or let me see your receipt and will help you out but nobody did. I finally said something and they said it's coming. Waiting again I waited a little bit longer. My sister's order finally came, but no order for me. That's when I finally spoke up and say hey I ordered this and that and I'm not getting it. A young man said no problem. I'll fix it for you which he did and I really appreciated it. I even offered to pay for it after I was done eating, which I did not mind doing. He said no problem. Don't worry about paying so I did not worry about it. I'm not sure what the problem with the cashier was, but it was very much an inconvenience. I'm not gonna tell anybody not to come here because I'm sure this might've been just so a weird incident. But I don't know if I'll be back I have another spot. I normally go to for taco Tuesday and it's always good. They know what I want and there's never a problem. Having said that the food was OK it wasn't anything spectacular. This was just my experience so I'm sure other people have great experiences here.

But eventually they did find it... seemed a bit disorganized. Also, I went to buy the rest of my groceries for the party and bought three bottles of cranberry juice. Her customer service was pure excellence, and she was efficient and quick. We observed her with the customer ahead of us, who was elderly, and she was very accommodating to him. It didn't stop there, as she was very friendly with us as well. The aisles were pretty clear and even the restroom was clean. It is very rare to find all these qualities at once. US Foods CHEF'STORE is a bit Costco, a bit Smart & Final, and a bit Aldi. This place would supplement a grocery run, especially if you were planning a large family gathering. Their direct to consumer model probably fits more towards restaurants, including supplies like pizza boxes. I found prices to be reasonable, the perishables to be fresh, and with good selections in places like coffee syrups. Gayle and I will continue to shop Raley's as our main grocery store and with small item supplements at Trader Joes. But for the larger guest feeds, we'll be back.

Had what I needed except the attitude from one of the workers (managers?). Came in a little close…read moreto closing admittedly 20 minutes before 11, and was near the entrance door waiting for my wife. One of the workers (female on the bigger side) started to yell at me saying that she will automatically turn off the registers at 11. I told her that it's okay I'm just waiting for someone to which she responded "no it's not okay we all want to get home." I was surprised and didn't respond to which she told me that she will call the cops on me if I don't leave. I told her that I was waiting for my wife and would be leaving quickly. I do take some fault for coming in so close to closing time but I made sure to stand by the exit to not confuse the workers about me potentially still purchasing something. Will probably only come during the day time and avoid going at night.
