I have an executive membership that can get us in at 9am and the food court is all ready to go at that time. Hot dogs for the road with a soda too even! They all go hell, yeah! So we pull in and it's just before opening at 9 am. Plenty of parking, not like those big city Costco's at opening. We go in and I have my membership card scanned and head straight to the food court. I go up to the little kiosk thingy and tap in 5 hot dogs and sodas ... $7.50 the feed the whole crew! plus a little tax of course. The staff whips those out in no time and we fill our sodas. I like they switched back to coke products, I like them better than Pepsi products. Over at the condiments, we all squeeze out the mustard, relish and catsup on our dogs and sit at the open tables. These are a little messy to eat, so better make a mess at tables, than inside the Suburban! This was a nice tasty treat in the morning to keep everybody happy till we get to Sacramento. This is a really nice not crowded Costco!

I have gotten tires here once and the prices were fair and service was quick and easy in the tire center. Gas prices are always the best in Carson. However, there is only 87 and 91. No mid grade. I would say I do 90% of my regular grocery shopping at this Costco. There is a great selection of organic products and healthy foods plus classic Kirkland branded options. I am happy to recommend this Costco to anyone in the quad county area who doesn't want to make their way to Reno.

It is located right past Bodines Casino and Fuji Park, just past the Carson City limit on US Route 395 going south. It is technically in Douglas County, but has a Carson City postal address, as it is served by that post office. It has one entrance on Warehouse Way (off of US Route 395,) two entrances on Topsy Lane, and a back entrance on Vista Grande Boulevard (by Costco). It is also right next to Carson Valley Plaza to the south, on Topsy Lane. I love this plaza, as it has many useful stores and not filled with "riffraff' like the other Walmart plaza is in north Carson City on Retail Drive. The Walmart is open 24/7 and is a Supercenter with a Tire & Lube Express and Garden Center. There is also a Trader Joe's, which I frequent often. I used to go to King Buffet there (a Chinese restaurant), but now not really. Store here include: Absolute Dental BlueZone Bikes BlueZone Sports Carson City Orthodontics Carson Nails Chili's Grill & Bar chiropractor's office?? [Note: overnight camping is not allowed at the other Walmart in north Carson City on Retail Lane.] There is plenty of parking space for all stores, and the plaza seems to be well maintained and clean. You can get around any traffic by using the back entrance and taking Vista Grande Boulevard. I use this way a lot, especially since I go to the Costco near there a lot. But, as this is Carson City, there is not too much traffic. My only complaint is, if you use the back entrance of Vista Grande Boulevard, behind Walmart, and go north around Walmart past the loading dock, the lane is really narrow and you cannot see cars coming the other way, especially since there are cardboard recycling loads and a building pole there. So you have to be very careful. It is also not well lit there.

They waited till we went down 3 rows then called the manager who started to SCREAM at us that there was to many people in the store even though we already passed by the cashier and another worker. She said "you are not even all licensed you cannot all be in the store" - Sandy the store manger (WHO HAD NO FACE COVERING ON) she said this to another customer and they cashier said people are so sensitive these days. She did not even ask me for my membership card or proof before she screamed this at us. She implied that she wanted the CHILDREN to wait outside by themselves because there was to many people even though no one was at the door or at the cash wrap telling us that there were to many people. She was cussing at my mom who was accompanying me to the store and was screaming at us the whole way out. Beyond disappointed as though we were the only people of color in the whole store and being targeted our whole time in the store. SANDY should be embarrassed to call herself a manager and cuss at customers instead of just politely letting them know there at their limit for customers. I recently reached out to this business to get a small swag line so to say started so I went with a local business because what I'm doing is a Nevada-based organization. I Had sent in a design and explain what I was looking for I will say that the associate that works there her name is Halle was very good and was very shall I say progressive in doing business. Now she had agreed since they had some material laying around she could do this for me most cases and I understand they want bulk orders but I really just needed to see how something was going to turn out so she was very accommodating so we agreed on what we were going to do she sent me the proof as well as the payment link so I can pay for this product and either through an issue with the email or their program the proof didn't quite look like what I needed so I responded that I wanted to further look into this design and make sure it was correct. I was then contacted by an individual named Todd he totally reneged everything that me and Halle had discussed and went back on the agreement. This was a pure sight into how this business operates it operates one of two ways they either don't communicate because there was communication between me and Haley and an agreement on what was done or else Halle doesn't know how to do her job and she did something she's not supposed to do but then a true business will not go back on those agreements. They will deal with it internally. Or the other cases Todd's power-hungry and clearly makes Halle look like a fool and if you ask me Todd if he has the power should not let Halle do any quotes or any proofs they should all come from Todd because clearly Todd has the final word so I just want to put out to the community please beware of doing business with this business they do not stand behind any agreements they have poor communication internally or they just have poor business ethics and an issue between management and Associates. If anyone in the community would like my proof of what happened or if anyone at the graphics FACTORY wants to challenge what happened I have it all documented.
