Paint Mart even used a brand for the trim that was not Benjamin Moore to better match the color. Needless to say the job was just completed and the quality, color, and texture were fantastic. Since I have done business for years with Sherwin Williams (and 5 years with the No. Carson St store specifically ), I came here to get 2 cans mixed. They never asked about any affiliation with them and took and shook my 2 cans of Kelly Moore paint. I will always prefer Sherwin Williams and will use their products for all my paint needs.

I brought in a swatch and wanted them to match it. I do this often at other paint stores. (A computer samples the color and the machine spits out the perfect proportion of pigment.). Doesn't take more than 15 minutes tops, and the result is rarely off color. The first guy came back with a swatch book and pointed at a color (which didn't match) telling me that the "computer suggested this". It took a couple more minutes of repeating myself to get him to realize that I wanted an exact match. I returned an hour and a half later to find a new guy who couldn't get the colors to match. They had made three attempts and it was still wildly off. So I told them to forget the custom color. My time was being wasted. Even getting me a can of standard pre-mixed white paint was an exercise in ADD. Fiddle with the color machine first. Look for the can. Find the can. Put the can down because the phone rang, etc. I just walked out while he was still on the phone. I'm sure given enough time the two of them (put together) would have eventually gotten it right, but my god, both of them were painfully slow. So I popped over to DIY and they matched and mixed my custom color in 8 minutes flat.

Would have tried to get this delivered, but our last experience with HD involved the delivery company calling us saying they only deliver every other Thurs. And we are never in Tahoe on Thursdays. Then they tried to reschedule the same week after we arranged to be up there on a Thurs. In the end, we did finally get what we ordered, but it was super delayed and a hassle. We had looked at vanities at another HD location and decided to purchase the one above. It was just a matter of finding it and loading it onto the cart. It is all one piece, so if you have someone weak like me helping you take it down some stairs, you cannot remove the top. We found the easiest way was to turn it on it's side so I could grasp and hold onto the legs. Tho it did give me a splinter thru my gloves. A fine location. It has gotten worse to be a pro member than a regular customer. I hope corporate tries to re vamp their system and fixes some of these problems.
