Don't go here. The people are super rude. I went here for swim lessons and was taught poorly by a very rude woman.

Horrible customer service, the staff seem to not know what's going on. Just don't feel safe there.

If you are wanting to take dive lessons this is an awesome spot. They have an indoor climate controlled pool right off of the show room. The instructor I had was very experienced and personable. If need a piece of dive gear, need your tanks filled, want to take lessons or just want to talk diving, this is the place.

They don't allow reservations, but since they did not have any classes scheduled the weekend I inquired about, they assured they would have adequate supplies and they did! When we arrived to rent the equipment, the employees greeted us right away. They patiently answered our questions and helped us select the right items since it was our first time renting. They clearly explained the cost and tried to save us money rather than talking us into spending more. In addition to rental equipment they sell scuba gear, hold classes, and host events and trips. They have a heated pool on-site and offer private and semi-private classes. Their training agency is SSI (Scuba Schools International). Overall, we had a great experience here and would rent from here again!

I was looking for a place with a warm pool to compete adult swim lessons this past winter. I looked…read moreat several schools but it came down to availability. It is very hard to get into swim classes in this area because the classes are so small. I looked for over a year. I had a personal challenge because I don't work a traditional 9 to 5, Monday through Friday job. These classes are only available the same day each week for a calendar month. There's no flexibility with a group class which I understand. So, I lucked up and found an opening. Somehow, I didn't have any night shifts on Mondays for 3 months straight. I knew I would need more than 1 month of lessons. I think there's a minimum of 2 months. I loved the warm pool. The instructors were warm, welcoming, and most importantly patient. I learned something new from each one. I do wish the pool was deeper so I could have learned to tread water though. Of note, most of the instructors are used to teaching children so communication of swim techniques can be a challenge for them. Meaning, kids process information differently than adults. I think more attention could be on training the swim instructors on adult learners. I had a great experience here and would recommend this training facility. Adults, there's no locker room. There are changing rooms with privacy and cubby holes to put your belongings. The pool has a glass wall. If you are shy, particularly with people watching you learn, then know that there will be parents observing their children in the pool during your lesson. A con to sharing the pool is space especially when practicing swim strokes.

We enjoy the fact that the pool is always heated and the lessons are very structured. Even during the pandemic, Goldfish found a way to safely remain open without making things weird for the children. The class sizes are 4:1. I really liked it during the pandemic because it shrunk to 3:1 and gave the kids more time in the pool during their 30 min lessons. They are back to 4:1 now but It's not really a big issue unless one of the kids in your class messes around too much. The managers and owners are really down to earth and easy to talk to if you feel like you have an issue. They take your concerns seriously and understand that sometimes your child might not match well with the instructor scheduled, so moving to another class/time might work better for your child. They offer open swim for members which is great. We live pretty far and don't have access to a pool regularly, so we try to get to open swim when we can. Hopefully, they will add more open swim times and/or bring it back on Saturdays. Overall, 10/10 definitely recommend!

Fast-forward six months when we had to skip classes due to scheduling over the weekends. We were then told oh we need to re-enroll in order to use those classes. Well, this means you didn't have to go twice a week to make up for what you didn't have the chance to do originally. This is not what we were told when we purchased. I went back back-and-forth, whether I should post or not. We have chosen to go to a different place because we felt lied to and cheated out of a lot of money. I would not recommend this company anymore, and I hope they change their business practices to something more ethical.

On…read moreher first day, we got a special red bracelet that let everyone know it's her first time and all the coaches made sure to acknowledge that! It was so sweet. Once she got in the water she felt nervous and one of the deck supervisors got in the pool along with her teacher so allow her to have some one on one time. You would think this was only because it was her first lesson but no, it happened again recently where she was having a hard time and again another couch jumped right in and gave her the extra attention she needed. All the coach's are super sweet, kind, and very patient!!! We have loved all the ones we have had! The teachers we have had so far are Lillian, (she teachers my daughters private lessons) Ruthie and Ashlyn and my 4 year old loves them all!! It's rare to find an environment that feels welcoming all the time but aqua tots does it each time! They are great at making the kids feel special and safe.

It was a whole lot of screaming and crying. On the advice of the coaches we did the two week intensive where he went for a lesson everyday. It worked wonders! The coaches are always so patient and understand with him, it's wonderful to see! We've had a ton of wonderful coaches over the years Molly, Madison, Quinton, Shelby, Jay, and now we have coach Leila. My son loves coach Leila and she really tries her best to teach him as much as a four year old in a pool actually listens. My son has truly started to learn how to swim thanks to Aqua Tots. I do have a ton of makeup classes, so I wish there was a better system in place there. My son is not the adaptable type and needs to know what time he's going and who is coach is well ahead of time. So for us, the makeup system just doesn't work super well. Overall we love Aqua Tots and are so thankful for the coaches and the friendly front desk staff. #ThankYouThursday

She fairly scared of getting her head under water, hated getting her head wet, and was brand new to this at first. In just a couple weeks, Rachel gave her the skills and confidence to thrive and accept new challenges. I was continually impressed by Rachel's calm, kind, supportive approach with each kiddo I saw her with - she was always comforting and understanding - yet challenging because she knew each kiddo's limits and abilities. I am so grateful for PhD Swim - every coach seems so encouraging and knowledgeable about both swimming and kids. We have enrolled in the next stage at PhD Swim and I couldn't be more thrilled. I know my daughter can survive if in a dangerous water situation, which was what was most important to me, but I also know she learned a ton in such a supportive environment along the way. I'd also like to add that PhD Swim is has been very impressive regarding covid protocols. Every adult - both parents and teachers - remain fully masked every second they are in the room, and kiddos are generally masked unless they are in the pool. The small classes and low number of kiddos/families in there at any time is very reassuring. Honestly, I initially balked at the price and time commitment - hey, it took 2-3x as long to travel there and back than the lesson itself, and the survival class was 3x a week!! - but I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Tl;dr: run, don't walk, to PhD Swim!
