This class has many positives as opposed to what my past experiences have been. The space is clean and the people are good here. I felt I belonged. Trap Fit met all my expectations with its offerings. This was a welcoming and no-judgment zone. Everyone was focused - I had a great time! A mental and physical challenge. Everything was an 8 count (LOL). The group interval training is of high interest for future classes here and the price is very inexpensive.

The rest of the space is more big weights, a few weight machines, treads, a few regular bikes, steppers and ellipticals. If you have an injury and are forced to use only the recumbent bike and weight machines, you're out of luck. This is not the gym they once advertised.

I have…read morebeen a member there for just about 9 months and unfortunately sustained an injury that prohibits me from working out, instead of simply giving a doctors note to the actual location and facility I use, Gold's Gym will give you the run around and make you go submit a form with their 3rd party payment provider called Peak Payment Solutions, meanwhile Peak's support takes "5-7 business days" to respond and will keep charging your account. I find it strange that the organization and physical location of the facility you use is unable to do a medical freeze but instead will route you to a 3rd party. I have a suspicion they want to make the process so arduous that the member just gives up and they can continue to collect unjust fees. The FTC just filed a lawsuit against LA Fitness for similar practices. I have logged a complaint with both the FTC and the NC DOJ for bad business practices. If anyone has experienced a similar situation with Gold's Gym, I urge you to do the same and hopefully you don't get injured!!

They have Parents Night Out on the weekends and that's such a nice perk! There's also day camps, which has saved us a few times when we needed child care during a school break. The pool is also wonderful in the summertime. The cafe food is average. I'd love it if the quality was amped up just a bit. The only thing I really ever get is the vegan PB& B shake. It's delicious!
