I've never met a Raising Cane's I didn't like but I have met one that continually catches me by surprise (#1) which is this location, which is just west of Katy. There are a lot of issues here, but most of it stems with their order mishaps, slow service, and portion sizes. All of these things will eventually lead to the theory that the chain is going downhill. The good news is not every location is like this one. I'd ding them harder but I still think overall, they do a solid job with the chicken, which is mostly Cane's quality. There are occasions where the pieces seem smaller or were slightly overfried, but lately they've been doing better with consistent offerings. Not a fan of the significant price hikes as of late, but just about every place is getting more expensive. The glaring issue is going to be their service. From mean mugs to slow drive-thrus (#2), I've also been the recipient of orders were a tender or two was missing. I've been avoiding this location specifically for awhile, but my recent order was solid all the way. (#3) Only time will tell if they can keep it up. ______________ (#1) Puzzled. Confused. This is my neighborhood Canes. I've been a couple of times and usually goes thru the drive thru. I have always had great service and quality food. I usually get one if the finger chicken meals with fries and Arnold Palmer. They have been cooked to my perfection and always very tasty. They will be my go to when ever I look for my not bone in chicken. read more

You think you want a 3-piece meal, but you are a disgusting glutton who actually wants a 6-piece, AKA the Caniac Combo. It comes with salty, buttery Texas Toast (fantastic), mediocre crinkle cut fries that every place should replace with curly fries (looking at you too Shake Shack), and an insanely large drink that I don't need. I didn't want to explain that so I ordered a club soda, which was a bad move because I got an orange soda instead. Man, Canes really fell off. I ordered a 3 strip combo, and got literal nugget sizes almost. There's no way any of these even weigh close to an ounce and a half. What a waste of money. I love chicken tenders, a great dinner choice for me. I used to go to McDonalds but even though they are cheaper, I just don't feel well after eating it. With Canes I never get that too full feeling bad feeling. Their tenders are quite tasty and you can order individually from 1-10 and they have other combos. Employees are always great. However recently I have been getting short handed the fingers. Last time I paid for 10 and received 8. I let that one go. Yesterday I came after work and ordered 6 for a light dinner. I got home, served myself my favorite soda. Put on my show on tv, then come to realize I paid for 6 tenders and got 3 !!! I can't have 3 tenders for dinner! I had to drive all the way back in my jammies, explain the situation. For starters, the fries were overcooked and crunchy (brown) and the chicken was over fried that when you swallowed it felt like you were going to choke, the chicken was very dry. This is the 2nd time and the last time I go there. The 1st time I complained, nothing was done so I'm here to tell you it's my money and I definitely won't be spending it there anymore.
