Canes is Canes. No complaints about food. The strips are always good. The sandwich combo is a sandwich with three strips. It is not a whole chicken breast so be aware of what you're ordering. The sandwich combo comes with Cane's sauce on the sandwich. It is not on the side if you're wishing to dip your fries so be prepared to order extra sauce if dipping is your thing. So why the three stars? Well, as a member of the "Caniac Club", I had an offer for a free lemonade. So, I ordered the sandwich combo but got a free lemonade instead of the drink that comes with the combo. The lemonade costs $2.49 and they took $2.49 off the bill. However, the net difference in my total bill was only 89¢ because all they really took off is the cost of the drink on the combo. Look at it this way: Sandwich combo is $9.79. Combo price without the drink is $8.99. So instead of a meal with a non-lemonade drink costing $10.62, I paid $9.73 (including tax). In my eyes, that's not really a free drink. Just my two cents...or 89 cents, to be more exact. Four stars for food. Two stars for the crappy rewards system. Three overall. read more

Our school got into a crunch and I had to come order 16 meals to feed our tennis team without having a school account with this vendor. Came here the day this facility was training new team members. They gave police, fire fighters, military and other municipal team members free entrees. Everyone was very friendly. The management team was was directly involved in all activities. The food was fantastic. The place was super clean. It had outside dining with a fountain for dogs to get a drink. I give this a big 5 stars for the pets. Cannot wait to see how things go when it is open to the public full time. Give them a try and a chance to grow. read more

We checked this place out based on my niece who raves about it. Maybe it was just an off night, but I thought the chicken tenders were decent, but not anything I would go out of my way for. Don't get me wrong, they were better than anything I can get the other fast food burger joints, but I expected more. If I were to rank them with the other major fast food chicken focused restaurants in the game, they would be behind the Kentucky based restaurant, the sailor's Louisiana kitchen and the one that is closed on Sundays. I will say that the Cane's sauce had a unique taste and was pretty good. I liked the Texas toast that came with the meal, but the fries were just meh, though they gave me a ton. read more

So... Cane's totally saved my.bacon tonight. I set out tonight at 8:45 in the driving rain to get a late box of chicken to feed the fam... tried the popeyes on eastex... closed for some reason, lights off, nobody home... and then the nightmare began, Popeyes on Phelan at 9:25- was told they were basically already closed and stop cooking... an hour before their closing time. Churches across the street at 9:40... didnt even bother to answer the drive thru... despite the staff being IN THE STORE... at both stores I watched 6-8 customers turned away. Googled Chicken Express and saw one on College so I hustled my butt off (in heavy rain, dodging 5-O on college) to make it there with five minutes to spare... and they turned the lights off on me in the drive thru... to make matters worse, I saw the staff leaving with shopping bags of food they should have sold me.... and finally. Arrived at Canes at about 10: 15... ordered a 25 piece tailgater, a couple orders of fries and a Caniac... now I'm a fan and I know that Canes is always spot on... and sure enough it came out in about ten minutes, hot, fresh and smelling like win. I had to do it... I went in and shook the managers hand, told him it was great to find a restaurant being led by professionals and not jackasses. read more

My husband and I are from MS, and we don't know of one Raising Cane's back at home. We decided to stop at this one to give it a try today and I don't regret it one bit. I was extremely pleased. The chicken is great, the fries were amazing, and and the toast was yummy! These people were so sweet. The place was absolutely spotless. There was a gentleman picking up chairs and turning them over cleaning the bottom of the chairs. He looked to be a new employee, and he had an awesome work ethic. Over all, this place was great. It gave us an awesome first impression of this restaurant! read more
