Went to celebrate National Women's Day with 5 other ladies. We ordered several mimosa flights. For $25 you got a bottle of champagne and a flight of juices to create your own. We loved it! Rainy Daze has been on my beer bucket list for, like, ever. I first discovered coffee beer through them, a white coffee stout they were serving at a Tacoma beer fest several years ago. But I hadn't made it over to Poulsbo to visit them in person until recently. The brewery is located across the bay from the touristy part of downtown Poulsbo, but it's worth the short drive (or easy walk) to check out their comfy tasting room and grab a flight of beer deliciousness. I was very excited, all these years later, to see they were still brewing a delicious coffee beer too. The service was super friendly, and it was nice that they had different options - such as flights and tasters - so we could try a variety of brews. read more

Fantastic brewery with some of the best beers I've ever had. Their selection at the time had several great tasting IPA's that were very balanced. I love hazy IPA's and this place knocked those out of the park. They had about 8 regular beers with 10 rotating selections. Great flavor with all of the beers I tried. Ended up taking quite a few home with me. I had one of their IPA's at a restaurant in Poulsbo and it was so delicious. Asked the waitress if they did crowlers, and she said no, but the brewery is not far from here. Glad I visited. What a gem west of the Sound. read more

I loved Rainy Daze the first time I set foot in there. The atmosphere was wonderful, the doors were open to the outside and there was a nip in the air. Bellied up to the bar and asked the Keep what was best. After she set me up with a couple of samples I settled on a nice stout that hit the taste buds nicely. The place was hopping and it was a Seahawk game day. we had a great time and I ended up taking a growler fill (64oz) with me as my adventures in the great PacNW continued. I will always make a stop by Rainy Daze, their growler is safely at home in Cedar Park with me after surviving the airports attempt to smash anything with glass inside. Wonderful microbrewery in Poulsbo, stopped by here because we were in the area, it showed up and the beers had good reviews. My hubby and I both did the flights and enjoyed them. We took home a 4 pack of Disturbing the Peace which is a hazy IPA, I really enjoyed it. I sampled the Test Drive Amber, Built for Comfort Stout, Disturbing the Peace and Empire porter, all were tasty. The amber was my favorite but no to go except a growler and I didn't want to buy one. It's located in a warehouse office park but the inside is inviting. Not a large space but it was comfortable seating which was open to the brewing equipment which was neat. The staff was friendly and we had to go to the bar to order which was more than okay. All in all if you're in the area be sure to check them out! My favorite part was their, what looked to be handmade, tap handles. read more

Started coming here three years ago when I bought a home in the area. I wasn't impressed at the time due to beer list and customer service. At the time it was porters, browns, malty styles, blah, blah, blah and really only the blond and one other that was to my liking. Not the breweries fault if hoppy is my beer of choice. Sadly, the beertenders at the time were also not helpful or honestly, engaged in any way. Fast forward one year, "Let's try that again." WHAT a difference, both in beer selections and customer service. I was immediately drawn to several of their drafts...IPA's galore. Ever since that second visit, I've been hooked. Super friendly staff every time I visit now. One girl (don't know her name sadly) is super informative, offers samples and knows her sh*t. I'm psyched when I walk in and she's working. This place has the greatest beer variety in Poulsbo and they are all fantastic I think they have the best beers within 15 driving miles (my opinion) .. Covid stuff - You need to wear a mask when entering, ordering, or go to use restrooms but other than that you are on your own at your seated table. If you sit outside under their two big kids tents,. Sit on the right of tent if you want to watch Tv for your favorite game. There is only one restroom (that I saw) but i do not think it should be a concern since never a line. There are several other great breweries near by but this one provides the beat covid spacing experience. read more

Style: IPA The aroma is hoppy with a light fruity background. The citrus and fruity flavor (a little too sweet for me) clashes with the citrus and hops in this IPA. Great brewery in Poulsbo. I had been to their previous location. The inside of the brewery is really nice and the space is pretty open compared to when Sound occupied the space. They had some really unique tap handles which were kinda artsy and cool. There is also an outdoor space as well. The beers were excellent. They had quite a few beers on tap, I opted for the stout which was really good and not too heavy tasting. It was a good stop, I'm sure I'll be back again sometime. read more

I first found Rainy Daze at the Seattle Craft Beer fest a few years ago and now today by complete accident found them when I was looking for another brewery. Well thankfully because their beer is frinking amazing. Ok so no food which can be a bummer especially after a few beers, but I think I did see a few bags of chips for sale over on a rack, otherwise a few people had obviously been here before since they had brought their own food. Something I will remember in the future. Rainy Daze is located in sort of garage type area, so when the weather is nice, like when we visited, they open the door and have a fairly substantial patio for outside drinks. Otherwise seating could be an issue inside if busy. Pretty cool place with killer beer, worth a stop if you find yourself in Poulsbo. read more

The woman working behind the counter had a terrible attitude. I initially walked in with a mask on, after noticing not one person was wearing a mask I took mine off as I approached the counter as it was my intention to taste a beer before ordering. There was NO line when we walked in tonight upon doing this. We were not greeted, a "hello", no "what can I get you". What we were rudely "greeted" with in a very condescending tone was, "Can you put your mask on?" We felt awkward and complied. Then I asked if it was okay to sample a beer. she brought me the sample and placed it directly in front of me. I then awkwardly had to take my mask off in order to sip it, feeling as though I was doing something wrong. Can we please all learn some common sense and customer service? You're going to refuse to greet me, rudely tell me to put a mask on, just for me to have to take it off 2 seconds later? Meanwhile there's kids running around maskless, and patrons drinking beer next to me maskless? I just have to say that I hope the awful attitude and poor service was worth it, because we won't be back. The atmosphere was cold and uninviting. Music was terrible and way too loud outside as well. Also, after we placed our orders and paid she didn't even say thank you. No excuse, there was still no line when we left! I have to add there are plenty of other kinder more inviting breweries in Poulsbo. read more

Built for comfort stout is delicious. Although I am visiting, thanks to a local Co-worker for the suggestion. The exterior is simply a warehouse face with a small sign. The beer taste is worth the risk. The folks inside welcomed this stranger and agreed with my oatmeal stout choice. There was a food truck available this evening but I'm not sure it's available every night. I sampled the Santa's tea stout but thought it would be too much flavor for a pint. Suggest sampling at no cost as they have plenty to choose from. Enjoy! read more

Traveling through the local area, we stayed at a place on Hood Canal; naturally, Poulsbo was a great choice for a place to explore! Dropping by the brewery after dinner, we mostly wanted to check the place out; however, we were immediately welcomed in as if we were locals, and made to feel very welcome! Taking a seat at the bar, we quickly struck up a conversation with some regulars next to us. They made some great recommendations, and even shared their secret of a 'blended' ale they were enjoying. We were thrilled with the results; so many tasty beverages! One of the best parts of visiting a brewery is to sample their selections 'at the source' - often, some of their experimental options will be available. We thoroughly enjoyed every taster we tried! Wrapping up our visit, we filled up a growler for enjoying at our room the next day. Such a great experience; this will be where we come back to next time! Rainy Daze is very easy to find, and there's plenty of parking. You won't be disappointed! read more

Unfortunately I'm not impressed. I was sitting at one of the side rails closest to the brewing area and there is a 3/4 wall that devides it. I heard the owner " Mike " talking horribly about a couple guest..that were at his taproom. Ive heard about him and how he's everyone's friend as long as it suits his needs, but as soon as it's not beneficial to him he ghost. Mike seems like a child who can't play in the sand box with others. It sucked to hear him talk so poorly about several people who seemed to be " mug club regulars ". Sucks to suck. read more

I'm not a local, I live in CA, so I've made the special trip to this brewery from Seattle when visiting family. I appreciate a brewer that can create unique and excellent beers with many below 40 on the IBU. This visit I had an excellent "Red" that was medium bodied and nice diversity of malt flavor with and IBU of 20. My second was a "Mind Funk White Stout" A truly unique beer. It has the body and color of a wheat and many of the flavor characteristics of a stout, but lighter. I thoroughly enjoyed both beers. I need to visit more of the breweries in in North Kitsap, but Rainy Daze has set the bar high for the competition. read more

We've been waiting for Rainy Daze to get their tasting room out of their home and in town for a long time now. Having them in Poulsbo is awesome...so much closer! We've never had a bad beer, and they have gone out of their way to make the new tasting room their own. The old Sound Brewing tasting room can still be recognized but this place is definitely all Rainy Daze. So many good IPAs and the Pale Stout is fantastic! Take a few hours to try several. read more
