Realizing he had no interest in either my question or my feedback, I hung up before I even got the answer because I was getting angry. I recognize Elmer is an attorney, and is listed in his email signature as such, and as the GM so I'm guessing he has a higher opinion of what he has to say than what a customer is asking. In my opinion, he was condescending, and uninterested in feedback, about a friction point in a key part of the customer experience. He was extremely helpful in getting me set up in my first place, and after a year when I needed to move, he was able to find another property that fit perfectly. As of this writing and to the best of my knowledge, Maple Leaf Property Management has not pursued criminal proceedings for the squatters writing a bad check despite it being a Class C felony in Washington State. They have had multiple court dates for the eviction, and have failed to remove the squatters despite their criminal unlawful issuance of a bank check. I am the father of two living with my family on 88th St near Stone in Seattle. The failings of Maple Leaf Property Management have had a profound impact on the peace and quality of life of my family. We have requested that Maple Leaf Property Management take steps to mitigate the impact on our household, but it has fallen on deaf ears. The property with the squatters has a high amount of traffic nightly between midnight and 4 AM. Based on attire, I am fairly certain that prostitution is involved. We also see people coming and going during those hours on scooters and wearing backpacks. I would guess that the distribution of drugs is involved, with the possibility that they are also reconstituting drugs on the property. We cleaned the place as best we could knowing the carpets would need to be replaced among other things. Not to mention a person had passed away with water running in the unit next to her and caused water damage to her lower restroom which the previous owning group did not bother to replace when asked so we got charged $800 for that as well.
