Got my bike back today from having a new Diamond Audio sound system installed by Rainier Audio. Let me tell you the "Honest to GOD" truth - they surpassed all my expectations. This system is absolutely amazing. Crystal clear sound and very very LOUD. I relived a childhood memory of Christmas morning running to the tree and finding a brand new bicycle. I just cant say enough about these guys. Service was phenomenal, price was reasonable and the communication before, during and after the sale and install was excellent. read more

Had a great experience with Rainier Audio. They installed a Sony 10.1" wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto receiver in my truck and did an excellent job. David was super helpful, transparent, and professional throughout the whole process. The install looks amazing and works perfectly. If you're looking for quality car audio work, stop looking--this is the place to go. Highly recommend! read more

Could not be more pleased with my experience at Rainier Audio. I walked in not really knowing what I wanted for my truck, all I knew is that I wanted it to sound clean but still hit hard. The team designed a system for me and scheduled an install. Service was quick and the quality is top notch. It's been a couple of months now and I'm still just as stoked as the day it was installed. The fit and finish is perfect, the sound quality is phenomenal and everyone at the shop was so welcoming and friendly. I cannot recommend them enough, definitely the best shop in the area with incredible customer service. Looking forward to taking more vehicles to them in the future! read more

First Class Shop!!! From selecting the Infotainment System for my Jeep to the installation of the system, these folks are outstanding. The communication throughout the entire process was excellent and quality of the installation was perfect. read more

Awesome shop to work with. The install looks like it came from the factory, even the back up camera is in my tailgate handle and the USB plug looks factory where a cigarette lighter used to live. I supplied a key part for the install, it was incorrect, but they were able to contact my vendor and straighten it out without even involving me. Amazing. Lastly the owner gave me a recommendation for another company to do part of the work as he knew the did quality work and could do it cheaper than he could. Other stereo shops like the big chain outlet have had reviews for a reason. Rainier will take good care of you without trying to rush your job to meet some quota. read more

IF there was a zero rating, I would. Trust once broken with lack of work ethics breaks the back of a business. Product misrepresentations are fraudulent practices. Rainier Audio (also not a registered name with Better Business Bureau) provided a written estimate for a product that costs nearly $400; but installed a used inferior product (costing $200). They thought that I would neither read the specs on the product box nor check the product's website. The thing with the digital age is - information is readily available. When caught, the manager attempted to credit me back $60, a measly amount, thinking that I lack the mental capacity to determine a fraudulent business practice. I pointed to the product website that clearly shows MSRP prices (which btw is also available at Amazon, BestBuy or WalMart etc). Only then did he concede to the proper resolution. They will attempt to pass on the lowest model or version of a product, thinking that they can scam for a few dollars. Businesses can lose trust with lack of work ethics and posted in the right review, a forum like Yelp, the consuming public now knows. Caveat Emptor - buyer beware. Stay away from this establishment. IF you do engage their service, watch what they promise against what they actually install. read more

Five stars are not enough for this company. Amazing customer service! Logan did a fantastic job with the install of our upgraded entertainment unit in our 2011 Jeep Unlimited. Our OEM entertainment/navigation system finally died and we needed a replacement ASAP for a major road trip. We needed a unit that could provide Sirius radio, standard radio, backup camera, and on-board navigation. Logan walked us through our options and helped us select the appropriate unit. The installation was very quick and the finished product looks like it has always been there. It doesn't get better than this. Great crew, great customer service and overall a great experience. If we have to upgrade any of our vehicles sound systems, WE WILL GO BACK TO Rainier Audio. read more

Rainier Audio - Car Stereo Installation Near Me - Tacoma, Washington

What a great place. Todd and his son went completely out of their way. I purchased a new truck and shortly afterwards, I started having problems with a rattle in the rear passenger door when playing loud music. Under warrenty, I took it to the dealer, they replaced the speaker and told me it was fixed. The next day, the rattle was back. Needless to say, the dealer was useless. I called Rainer Audio and Todd told me to come on by. Over the next hour, his son and him pulled the panel off to find the whole door assembly to be rattling. They installed dynamat and a few other fixes and the rattle was gone. Then they shaked my hand and said enjoy the new truck without charging me a cent. Completely unexpected and undeserved. I whole-heartedly recommend these guys to anyone for stereo needs. A nice shop with a variety of stereo stuff. If you need some stereo upgrades, then you need to visit these guys!! read more

Great dudes honest prices awesome work had an alpine 507 unit & alpine back up camera installed also Focal speakers everything came out perfect I would definitely be coming back for future services I promise you won't be disappointed thanks again Logan. read more

These guys are the best, forget foss audio ( mainly the one in puyallup), and car toys. You want to deal with pros and quality installs this is your place. I told Logan what I was looking for and he actually listened and put together a system that made me happy and beyond. When I brought him the car it was going in he seemed as exited as I was to start the project. Look no further, this is the best place for you stereo needs! Thanks guys! read more

All car, truck and boat audio stuff is expensive. Don't buy expensive equipment and then hire the cheapest labor to install it. You'll always pay more in the long run that way. The guys at Rainier are awesome! They're prices are fair, they do what they say they are going to do when they say they will do it. I've brought several rigs to them and they are consistently great to work with! read more

I had some work done on my wife's 2018 Subaru Forester in regards to a stereo install and backup camera issues. They tightened up the install that was done by BB and fixed my backup camera issues. They were great and the work was done in a timely manner and everything was explained. Thanks for saving my a** on this and sorry for the delayed review. You guys are A+++!! read more

Reached out multiple times to get a quote but never got a call back or email. Try must be doing really well, because they don't want new business. read more

This shop goes beyond the expected. They are out for customer satisfaction. They make sure what you are buying just what you are looking. They will also inform you about other systems that fit your list of features that will save you money. I bought a a JVC receive/navigation system from them for my 2010 Jeep Commander and everything about the system works better than before. They even fix an intermittent audio problem I had prior to the old system failing. I give this business 5 Stars in all areas and I will return for my audio needs Or other areas they cover. I'm already recommending the business to friends and family. read more

These guys are seriously THE BEST. The quality of work on the install is flawless and factory clean and the tune they put on the DSP will make your jaw drop. I've been to them twice for full systems with new cars and you should have no hesitations! In life there is no substitute for passion for what you do. These guys have it. read more

I came to Rainier Audio in search of adding Apple CarPlay to my 2013 Ram. I never knew that I was underestimating my wants. I met with the owner Logan and he showed me a few different options. I tried the inexpensive one first thinking maybe save some cash. But I wasn't totally happy with it so I came back and got the Stinger head unit and upgraded my stock speakers with Alpines all around. It was so great working with a smaller local shop. The prices were very reasonable and the install quality is fantastic. I highly recommend Rainier Audio and can not wait to check out their new shop! Nick Puyallup, Wa read more

I've been to many many car stereo and speaker installation shops and this is by far the best one. Never again will I go to car toys or foss audio for my installs. A friend recommended me to these guys and it really says something when they go out of their way to make sure you get the best experience. I have a 2011 Jeep Wrangler and originally I had gone to Car Toys just to get a quote and it was $1600 just to install the stereo with a camera and custom hookup for apple car play. Rainier did it for significantly less and they did a much better job. Customer service is a big thing for me and I feel like a lot of shops in this particular industry tend to be condescending. So it's really saying something when you walk into Rainier and they have a smile on their face. 10/10 never using anyone else again and will be coming back to get subs installed in my jeep. read more

I set off to support my local audio businesses in my town of Puyallup, but I ended up having to travel to Tacoma. Why? Because that is where Rainier Audio is! They created a stress free shopping experience and helped me keep the surprise from my husband. They were knowledgeable, trustworthy, ethical, time sensitive, reasonably priced and above all, just a great group of guys. Never did I feel rushed or unwelcomed. I was educated buy Todd based on my needs, not what he thought I should buy. My husband was surprised and if we ever need anything else, this is where we are coming. They earned every referral I pass their way. read more

These guys are awesome! Todd and Logan are super professional, personable, creative and helpful. They took the time to ask lots of questions to make sure I got an audio system to meet my needs. With their expertise, my 2008 Honda Element has been brought into the modern electronic world with Android Audio and a back-up camera. I highly recommend this business. I would give 6 stars if possible. They even taught me how to pronounce Ste-lia-coom! JJ read more

Very happy with work. Fair price that was done in a timely matter. Will be back. Thank you.

Todd and Logan did a flawless job installing a Kenwood Navigation unit and backup camera in my 2007 Mercedes-Benz SL 550. The Mercedes is not a typical installation challenge since the audio system runs on fiber optic cabling and the steering wheel controls run on a proprietary Controller Area Network. Logan knew exactly what to do, what special adapter components would be necessary and where he could order them. He accurately described, prior to the installation, how everything would interface between the new components and the existing electronics. The results are excellent and the entire project was done professionally and exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend Rainier Audio and will be doing more business with them in the future. read more

From start to finish, the team at Rainier Audio was professional, respectful and friendly. I needed to replace the speakers in my car, and was interested in getting an entirely new audio system. They wanted to make sure I got the best product for my budget, without using cheap equipment or wasting my money. They were up front with costs, helpful in answering questions, and timely with their service. I would highly recommend them. read more

The staff are friendly, professional, and helpful. The prices are comparable to what you'd pay at Best Buy or Car Toys, but the experience is WAY more personable. I cannot recommend this place highly enough for anyone with car audio needs. read more

Rainier Audio is excellent. They do a great job and they do things the right way. Excellent work - they did a custom subwoofer box for my 2004 Porsche 911, plus new speakers, amplifier, backup camera, and modern head unit. The custom sub box is perfect -- it's invisible with color-matched carpet, replacing the stock (Bose) subwoofers on the rear 'shelf.' Working with Logan and the team was great - they're friendly, knowledgeable, and take pride in doing a great job. read more

This place is absolutely amazing! It's obvious that they are passionate about what they do. After having a bad experience at another car audio company, I contacted Rainier. Logan got back to me quickly and I immediately felt like my car audio needs would be met here. They listened to what I said I was trying to accomplish and then walked me through some different options. They didn't try to sell me more than I needed, but they did give me some great suggestions for adding onto the system in the future. The install was done with a focus on stability and quality, without adding unnecessary cuts or holes to my vehicle. I am thrilled with the results and will definitely be going back for my future car audio needs. read more

After seeing the many 5 star reviews online for Rainier Audio, I went with Rainier Audio to have Blackvue 4K dash cameras (front and rear) installed in my car. I am very satisfied with the quality of the installation, the price for the product and installation, and with the exceptional and professional customer service that I received. The owner of Rainier Audio genuinely cares about giving the customer the best experience possible, and he gladly goes above and beyond to accomplish this. For this reason, I couldn't help but get on my computer to write this review. For any car audio or video needs, Rainier Audio is clearly your best option. No other business can even come close. read more

I am so pleased I took my 2003 dodge truck, which was technology challenged, to these guys. Installed a new touch screen system, backup camera and dash cam. Turn around in 1 day. Super great experience. The local chain did a monster "bait and switch" and that led me to rainier. I wasn't disappointed. Honest people here folks. I went in about 3 weeks ago to see if my factory stereo/CD player could be fixed. The CD player hasn't worked since I bought the car. Logan looked at and said that he could sell me an after market stereo with all of the bells and whistles......I said that I just as t to play CDs. He found a factory one on eBay, which I purchased, and had it installed today. Todd and Logan are both professional and listen to their customer needs. I would recommend them to anyone! Thanks, Logan, I was blasting Bruce Springsteen on my way home! read more

On my first visit the guys here at rainier audio were very friendly and personable. They actually listened to what I was looking for and made recommendations off of that (not trying to sell me something I didn't need). A few months later I came back with a new to me truck. It had a complete aftermarket system in it but didn't sound like it should. With the countless years of experience and knowledge, they had me back on the road sounding better than it ever could have (and cleaned up the rats nest from the previous company). If your looking for or considering anything audio/video related for your vehicle, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO. Do yourself a favor and come straight to these guys and let them do it right the first time. Keep up the great work! read more
