Awesome shop to work with. The install looks like it came from the factory, even the back up camera is in my tailgate handle and the USB plug looks factory where a cigarette lighter used to live. I supplied a key part for the install, it was incorrect, but they were able to contact my vendor and straighten it out without even involving me. Amazing. Lastly the owner gave me a recommendation for another company to do part of the work as he knew the did quality work and could do it cheaper than he could. Other stereo shops like the big chain outlet have had reviews for a reason. Rainier will take good care of you without trying to rush your job to meet some quota. read more

IF there was a zero rating, I would. Trust once broken with lack of work ethics breaks the back of a business. Product misrepresentations are fraudulent practices. Rainier Audio (also not a registered name with Better Business Bureau) provided a written estimate for a product that costs nearly $400; but installed a used inferior product (costing $200). They thought that I would neither read the specs on the product box nor check the product's website. The thing with the digital age is - information is readily available. When caught, the manager attempted to credit me back $60, a measly amount, thinking that I lack the mental capacity to determine a fraudulent business practice. I pointed to the product website that clearly shows MSRP prices (which btw is also available at Amazon, BestBuy or WalMart etc). Only then did he concede to the proper resolution. They will attempt to pass on the lowest model or version of a product, thinking that they can scam for a few dollars. Businesses can lose trust with lack of work ethics and posted in the right review, a forum like Yelp, the consuming public now knows. Caveat Emptor - buyer beware. Stay away from this establishment. IF you do engage their service, watch what they promise against what they actually install. read more

Five stars are not enough for this company. Amazing customer service! Logan did a fantastic job with the install of our upgraded entertainment unit in our 2011 Jeep Unlimited. Our OEM entertainment/navigation system finally died and we needed a replacement ASAP for a major road trip. We needed a unit that could provide Sirius radio, standard radio, backup camera, and on-board navigation. Logan walked us through our options and helped us select the appropriate unit. The installation was very quick and the finished product looks like it has always been there. It doesn't get better than this. Great crew, great customer service and overall a great experience. What a great place. Todd and his son went completely out of their way. I purchased a new truck and shortly afterwards, I started having problems with a rattle in the rear passenger door when playing loud music. Under warrenty, I took it to the dealer, they replaced the speaker and told me it was fixed. The next day, the rattle was back. Needless to say, the dealer was useless. I called Rainer Audio and Todd told me to come on by. Over the next hour, his son and him pulled the panel off to find the whole door assembly to be rattling. They installed dynamat and a few other fixes and the rattle was gone. Then they shaked my hand and said enjoy the new truck without charging me a cent. Completely unexpected and undeserved. They will also inform you about other systems that fit your list of features that will save you money. I came to Rainier Audio in search of adding Apple CarPlay to my 2013 Ram. I never knew that I was underestimating my wants. I met with the owner Logan and he showed me a few different options. I tried the inexpensive one first thinking maybe save some cash. But I wasn't totally happy with it so I came back and got the Stinger head unit and upgraded my stock speakers with Alpines all around. It was so great working with a smaller local shop. I've been to many many car stereo and speaker installation shops and this is by far the best one. Never again will I go to car toys or foss audio for my installs. A friend recommended me to these guys and it really says something when they go out of their way to make sure you get the best experience. I have a 2011 Jeep Wrangler and originally I had gone to Car Toys just to get a quote and it was $1600 just to install the stereo with a camera and custom hookup for apple car play. Rainier did it for significantly less and they did a much better job. Customer service is a big thing for me and I feel like a lot of shops in this particular industry tend to be condescending. So it's really saying something when you walk into Rainier and they have a smile on their face. 10/10 never using anyone else again and will be coming back to get subs installed in my jeep. read more

Todd and Logan did a flawless job installing a Kenwood Navigation unit and backup camera in my 2007 Mercedes-Benz SL 550. The Mercedes is not a typical installation challenge since the audio system runs on fiber optic cabling and the steering wheel controls run on a proprietary Controller Area Network. Logan knew exactly what to do, what special adapter components would be necessary and where he could order them. He accurately described, prior to the installation, how everything would interface between the new components and the existing electronics. The results are excellent and the entire project was done professionally and exceeded my expectations in every way. Excellent work - they did a custom subwoofer box for my 2004 Porsche 911, plus new speakers, amplifier, backup camera, and modern head unit. The custom sub box is perfect -- it's invisible with color-matched carpet, replacing the stock (Bose) subwoofers on the rear 'shelf.' I went in about 3 weeks ago to see if my factory stereo/CD player could be fixed. The CD player hasn't worked since I bought the car. Logan looked at and said that he could sell me an after market stereo with all of the bells and whistles......I said that I just as t to play CDs. They actually listened to what I was looking for and made recommendations off of that (not trying to sell me something I didn't need). A few months later I came back with a new to me truck.
