So clean Check out how it's holding up on my IG: @teddys.gt 2015 Ford Mustang GT

So you got a Groupon or thinking about buying it. Let me help you out! (Skip if you want to read the review below) Why listen to me? Well, I've had my windows tinted here 4 times in the last two years 2020 and 2021. Groupon process: 1. Purchase from Groupon, look out for additional local discount (once in a while) will knockdown the already discounted price lower. 2. Go to their website or follow link in email. For full, select the $349.99 Solar Guard M3 (not the second one). For only two windows there's only one Solar Guard option so you can't mess this up. 3. For the notes, write down your car model, and color (so they know what they are going to work on), tint percent (30% is the default tint foe Groupon deal, any lower is going to cost extra $), phone number, and the Groupon reception #. (Optional): Print off your schedule appt. 4. Drop off when they are open OR you can drop it off at the little mail drop in their (I believe) first garage door, near the entrance. I use a ziplock bag to put the key in and the print out of the schedule paper so that there is no mistake for the install. I've use this method 3 times now and they are really good at figuring out with said info, which is your car and what to do. 5. Pay taxes. Yes, you have to pay taxes on top of the Groupon deal.. it's not much. Review: Pros - They work on your tint on the scheduled time (crucial for day plans) - Great price and Value - (Depends, mostly for Groupon customers) Not much contact is necessary to get the job done. Get your Groupon and follow the steps above. Cons: - (The depends part) Yea.. it can be hard to get in touch with someone. Just recently end of April 2021, I had to call continuously at least 8 times to finally talk to someone. Because I've been here 4 times and being my initial experience was bad (but was fixed), there is just nobody in the area that can beat their price. I've looked around to see if anyone can come close to their price point, and they're always twice much more or worst 3 times more. I love the quality work here for the bargain price. I highly highly recommend (but use Groupon for tints)!

roughly 2 months ago I had my windows tinted, and when the vehicle was in direct sunlight, the tinted windows would gray out. I took it back to Foss Puyallup and they told me that was not correct and they would redo the Tint. I thought problem solved until I waiting for the next sunny day and the new tint had same issue . After taking it back down, they informed me they didn't see the graying in the sunlight, see the attached picture you make your own judgment. I have moved on, and I will pay somebody else to redo them.

Called Austin to set an appointment for my crosstrek to tint the windows on the front doors. From the moment he picked up the phone I knew I was gonna be well taken of. He was even able to get me earlier times before my actual appointment. When I arrived he informed me of all my options. I just wanted to tint my windows to match the rear windows. He got Brad and Mike on it right away and those two knocked it out of the park!!! I will never go anywhere else.

I bought my daughter a Groupon to tint the windows of her 2023 Nissan Altima SL. The price was for 5 windows but her car had 7. The additional fee for the two windows was minuscule. The work was done on time and very well. She is extremely happy with work and I would recommend these guys.

Great job installing a theft deterrent. But make sure to get a quote online. In person quote was $100 more.

Go to Rainer audio, so much more insightful and caring about your experience. I felt like the person at foss did not want to help.

I paid a premium price for a 360 dash cam with parking monitoring and grill lighting, and what I…read moregot was half-working installs and straight-up incompetence. The dash cam powers on, but the parking monitoring clearly doesn't work. The lighting install was even worse. I was told I must have a "short" in my running lights. When I brought the vehicle back, I showed them exactly what was happening: press the brake, the running lights turn on; release the brake, they turn off. That is NOT normal. The installer literally said, "I've never seen that before," which is wild coming from someone whose job is wiring vehicles. His "fix"? Tie everything into the blinker module and call it good. When I questioned it, he offered to wire the lights so they're always on--completely defeating the purpose of how these lights are designed to function. All I asked for was simple: when the headlights are on, the amber lights should be on. Instead of fixing it, he accused me of giving "three different stories" and talked to me like I didn't know what I was saying. That's insulting and unprofessional. When I asked if this was the best they could do, the answer was basically, "different people wire things differently." Translation: we don't know how to fix it. I finally walked out because it was clear they weren't interested in doing the job correctly--just getting paid. Overpriced, sloppy work, zero accountability, and disrespectful service. I will never return to Foss Audio and strongly recommend taking your money literally anywhere else.

My recent transaction happened to be needing new front speakers on my older Toyota Prius. Dale (install) and Zack were highly professional, informative and willing to provide me the best price possible. I left in less than 45 minutes with new speakers and a fresh perspective on how Car Toys 2.0 does business. I was very pleased and completely satisfied with how they conduct themselves in such an informative and transparent way. Just last week, I brought my boat in with a stereo issue (not working). Dale diagnosed the issue (free of charge) for me and we decided my old Kenwood stereo was going to need replacing. I will bring the boat in this week for a Kenwood swap out. I believe, strongly, that when people work hard to treat you right and provide you a high level of customer service and value, it needs to be acknowledged JUST AS MUCH as those experiences which warrant a negative review. Dale and Zack are committed to the new direction in which Car Toys is heading. I believe you will be very pleased with their approach and how important taking care of the customer is to this particular shop in Puyallup. I can recommend to anyone who is considering having some electronic work done that you should STRONGLY consider the folks at the Puyallup Car Toys shop.

I called and spoke to a very kind soul who encouraged me to give it a shot and I was successful... To a point. This is the final review in my CarToys series, again, look for my Southcenter review for the…read moredetails, but let's jump in. About 2017, I ended up here and several failed services and upgrades. The manager of this location claimed to know me and my situation as he was an employee in Bellevue while I was a customer there. I didn't remember him, but I also primarily dealt with the Shop and Store manager, so it was clear we didn't have a history. However, based on my Bellevue experience, I was confident I would be taken care of. Spent a few hours here, they acknowledge that they could hear something that didn't sound right, but they couldn't identify it. At that point, I left defeated and for the next 8 years, I didn't listen to a lick of music in this car, because it seriously angered me. I became a dedicated Podcast listener and even the podcast sounded like a transistor radio. Finally in 2025, I went to Waves in Olympia and within a hour, the owner came out to the waiting area to inform me that my stereo was out of phase, he made the appropriate adjustments and when he played me music, it was like a lullaby. Half of me wanted to cry and the other half wanted to sleep. Anybody can connect a wire, but when you deal with electronics, there are other elements at play like phase, signal strength, power and fidelity. This is why places like Waves exists. CarToys has proven to be the Supercuts on car audio. As a grown man, I'd warn you about a $20 haircut and the problem with CarToys is they also charge you Gene Jaurez fees and provide you with A quality of product far below industry standard and their low review scores reflect this.
