I went here yesteday for window tint. When it took a hour longer then I was told ( for a small 2 door car) and I saw the window guy just eating and smoking cigarettes I went in to ask how much longer. The front desk guy then went outside to talk to the tint dude and told him, right infront of my bf who was in my car with windows down, that I was nagging and he didn't want to hear it. Very professional... The tint has a lot of issues already. Hopefully they clear up as it sets more. If not, sadly, we'll have to call them back. I'm nervous I'll be labeled more names though. Where to even begin? I came to Washington to visit my mother and I called Nick and asked him if he could put a stereo, backup camera, and blind spot detection in my mother's car. I told him what year, make, and model and explained to him that my mother is in her 80s and I wanted something she could count on. The first thing he said was, I understand....it's all about safety. He quoted me the price for all 3 things I had wanted plus installation and it cost me over 3,000. No problem...anything to put my mind at ease when my mother is out and about so I went ahead and started making payments to Nick. I arrived here on October 5, 2023, and called right away to set up an appointment. October 14, 2023, was the first appointment. Was told that I would have to leave the car there for 2 days due to everything I had done. Not an issue. Completely understood. After 2 days, I went to pick up the car and was satisfied. The radio and backup camera were put in flawlessly. No issues there. Blind spot detection I was informed that I would have to bring the car back in because the right side LED was not working and the sensor for the backup camera was not staying on. Okay, no problem. I came back the second time and they put the sensor on the dash and the LED light on the right side. Left the store, and the blind spot detection was not working as I had thought it was. I called Nick and wanted to ask him some questions about it and he made the comment, "I'm starting to even regret putting it in the car". But all about safety right?!?!?! Had to bring the car back in the 3rd time because I was sitting in an empty parking lot and the LED on the left side was randomly going off and beeping. They had to put in another kit for the car. This was after Thanksgiving. Took the car in on Friday and was told the car would be done that Saturday but was told to come by noon on Sunday. Nick test-drove the car numerous times and came back and said everything should be working ok and that he was going to get a hold of Tech Support the following Monday to make sure he placed all sensors right etc and that I would get a call back to let me know. Monday comes around and no call. I called Tuesday, and talked to Chris at the front he said that they were still waiting to hear back from Tech Support. I didn't hear from them at all the rest of the week. I brought the car to them the 4th time because I wanted them to disconnect the beeping for the blind spot detection and as I was driving to the store...NOT ONE LED LIGHT ON EACH SIDE BLINKED RED IN MY BLIND SPOT AND WHEN USING THE TURN SIGNAL IT DIDN'T EVEN BEEP!!!!!! I asked Chris up front how much that setup was and he told me that it ranged between 400 to 500. Now, I'M OUT THAT MONEY AND MY MOTHER HAS PRODUCT IN HER CAR THAT DOESNT EVEN WORK AFTER BRINGING THEM THE CAR NOT ONCE, NOT TWICE, BUT THREE TIMES TO FIX!!!!! I asked about some type of refund and was DENIED! THIS PLACE IS A JOKE! I GOT PLAYED LIKE A CHUMP! INSTEAD OF MAKING SURE ABOUT CERTAIN THINGS THAT MAY OR MAY NOT WORK IN THE VEHICLE, HE'S ALL ABOUT MAKING MONEY. So I went here because I bought a Groupon for up to five windows tinted. When I first entered into Foss, there's a gentleman just sitting there he didn't seem to acknowledge me very much but I also had a two-year-old with me. He asked for my name and if I had an appointment and I told him. He asked me for what darkness tint and I didn't now. My kid was screaming and I had to call my husband and my husband was not answering but he wait patiently while I try to get those two under control. Once I figured it out, I asked him how much it was going to cost to tint the small windows and he quoted me $40 and was going to take about two hours. I came back about two hours later and the gentleman who helped me in the beginning, I believe his name is Steve, asked if everything was good on the car and I said yes. We went inside and he actually started making conversation with me and told me about his son and was very nice. He informed me that I would have to pay the taxes on the work and gave me my total which was only $17 I asked him about the extra $40 for the other windows and he said "oh don't worry about it I didn't charge you for it" I was totally shocked! That was so nice of him! The work was amazing. So, side note, I got home and my husband noticed there was some damages to one of the windows and I called Steve to tell him. He told me to bring it back so he can check. My husband brought it back and insured my husband it wasn't done from them since all their work was done from the inside and he had cameras to show it. Which I was so glad. Once we realized where the damages came from we apologized but it was nice of Steve to tell us that they can back up their work. read more

I would not go here for tint again. They don't do a neat job around the corners as they all had a different cut. Before I went I called and was told $235 out the door but had to $284. I was able to go back and they did re tint the two windows that were messed up so that's a plus. I do have a scratch on the new window film but can't 100% put the blame on them. I called Foss Audio's to have some Tint work completed and scheduled an appointment for a few days later. On the day of my appointment, I drove an hour from my home to get out to the shop, but was surprised when I arrived to find out that Foss would not install the type of Tint that I wanted on my vehicle. The salesman Nick at the front desk, then proceeded to tell me how he had fully explained the policy during our conversation over the phone. When I told him I wouldn't have driven an hour if I had known this policy, he told me that I must have forgotten about our conversation, and that there was no way he could have forgotten to give me this information. Do NOT waste your time or money. Got my tint done for my truck 15% in October, drivers side window was coming off in December (see pics) I came back for the warranty and just wanted To re-do the whole truck 5%. A guy named Roger gave me a quote of $130 (I hv his name and quote on a business card) and we set a appointment for the following week. The next week I show up I speak with Matt who is at the front desk and Roger has been let go. They are now NOT honoring my quote it's $100 more. Frustrated but need my tint and I hv been a customer in the past with no issues. I get my tint wait 5 days to roll it down I hv two windows crackling, tint rolling up lk it was never on. I call Matt tells me to come in a whole week later Bcs they are booked up and only have one tint person, Matt also tells me he believes it's a bad batch of tiny Bcs a few people hv been coming back with issues witch is horrible information to a paying customer who is now on her 3rd visit, so a week later I come for my appointment tell Mike, the manager from Kent the issues etc. he fixes the two windows. I notice now that my passenger window is crackling now and the tint is coming up so now I need to come back for a 4th visit. I call to explain to Mike my frustration and how I want to speak with a manager Bcs I would rather speak with a professional willing to help instead of argue with me however that never happened. Mike basically told me I had to wait another week to get my tint fixed for a fourth time and wanted me to go to the Kent store or puyallup, absolutely NOT I've wasted nothing but time & money with these people to do a trash bag tint job on my truck. So I come in a 4th time to have the manager fix my window. Since they obviously do not care about the customer or the service they give or giving customers refunds when it's obvious they can't do the job!!! First let me thank Gary and the manager with the blonde hair and blue eyes younger looking also. They are amazing but i dont know who tf steven think he is or if he knows how to manage customer care but i am beyond fed up with him. This is the 3rd time i have been addressed by him in a very ugly manner. They have these lines in the shop due to the corona virus and try to keep a 7 foot rule also they have alot of construction noise. I was there at 11 to pick up items and for a tint appointment at 1:30pm. My items were shipped to the shop by my insurance not because i wanted them to be. Long story short i see my products and lovely gary shows me the items so i can verify they are there. Not realizing im crossed the little yellow tape on the floor due to me being excited that i can get my install started and fix my rear window tint. I start working with the nicer young dude always in the front to work out all the little kinks so i can go ahead and pay to get this work done. Steven with his god awful attitude says to me in an ugly manner "didn't my associate tell you not to cross the yellow line!" I kid you not. This man talked to a grown ass customer like that. Not only did he say that he took it further and talked with the next customer behind me saying "some people have trouble with obeying rules or staying within lines" and indirectly speaking the situation to the customer while im there. The part that makes me mad most is that i didn't snap on him because i was so happy in the moment that i got my items finally that i just didn't have the attitude. Also if i got Steven name wrong. He is a white lad that has a short black hair buzz cut kinda receding hairline at the corners, a tad overweight and looks like he could be a manager but is not one. The way he addressed me has my skin boiling. So bad that i called my insurance and told them i am going with another shop, whilst grabbing all my items and leaving that i originally left in order to get work started. I am fed up with him. I dont even want him near my car. The only thing i dont like is that i have to leave Chris i think his name and Gary, that man loves speakers. And if steven sees this. Next time you talk to me like i irritate your soul or if you got a problem with me. Ima act like them loud black folk you seem to have a problem with. Your nasty freaking attitude. These guys are beyond great. Their work is worth every penny. I've had a remote start, back up camera and soon to be a stereo install on two of my vehicles and I was given some really great ideas on how to better tint my canopy for privacy. I had gone to CarToys prior and I will never go back there. Foss has the best guys, customer service and work. I have stood in the lobby waiting for my car and people come in and ask for help and Steve is awesome, he will put what he's doing on hold to take a look at whatever another customers issue might be and they come up with a plan. Not to mention these guys will conversation w you while you wait rather than act like you aren't there. I've never heard anyone say no they can't do something. I had a back up camera installed and it wasn't mirrored so I came back in and boom 2 min and it was fixed and the install guy brought me out to my truck to show me what it was since it didn't say what you'd think it would (mirror). So that was cool that the install guy was just as nice as anyone who shows their face in the lobby. Don't go to the big box stores, Foss is more about quality and customer care and it shows. I went to Foss based on other YELP reviews, glad I did!! Junior was my salesman and he truly knows his stuff. I had my windows tinted, an alarm installed and a new stereo. The window tint looks amazing, perfect in every way. The alarm works great and the key fob does what my factory fob did plus more. That was all I went there for but I was talking with Junior about how small my backup screen is in my rear view mirror. That's when he showed me how Nick could install a new stereo with a touch screen and greatly improve my screen size. Not only did Nick do an awesome job of installing everything he walked me through every detail on how to operate the alarm, stereo and back up camera. So picture if you will, one guy with a dream of putting a 1981 Pontiac Trans Am back to stock condition. Dream car purchased 8 months ago with a Sony after market stereo head unit and some very old Kenwood 6x9s that were way past there prime. After about a 4 month search I found the exact Delco am/FM stereo unit for the car. A few months later I was able to get some reproduction 6x9s to go with the 40 year old original head unit (which was in near mint condition I might add). Now I've worked on a few cars in my day and done stereo swaps in Explorers, Jettas, and even in some old pickups and a Suzuki. But anyone who knows these old TAs can tell you the dash was never big enough for the rats nest of wires to reside in when they came off the assembly line brand new. I wasn't about to attempt this one myself. Foss was recommended to me. I called and talked to Steve and tried to explain what I wanted done. He seemed a bit confused, and said why don't you bring everything in with the car and let's take a look. He took one look at my car, in my car, the parts and pieces I had, and said sure no problem. He then showed me some pictures of even earlier cars that they had worked on. And even though I was in a bit of a panic, Steve was calm and collected. He simply said we'll take good care of you. We agreed upon a day to bring the car in and in less than half that day the car was done! And it was done right! It looks amazing, sounds amazing, and they explained to me how they used some new wires, connections, and even wrapped it all together so that it would stay in a nice orderly fashion that would protect it from interference or fraying. The worst experience I have ever had in a stereo shop. Dropped off my bosses work truck in the morning to fix alarm they installed and back up camera. Also requested usb charger installed into a cigarette lighter. They called at 6pm to say its ready to go. Showed up in the following morning to pickup. They were unable to figure out how to install the usb charger, even took my deck out with out it being on the work order. The backup camera still doesn't work, and now the alarm works worse. Waiting 30 minutes for tech to get out of the bathroom to talk to him. Instead the receptionist came back and told me the camera is broken but don't worry its under warranty. But they were busy taking in more cars and didn't know when the truck would be done. Complete and total amateurs who will simply waste your time. Went in to the Tacoma location to get some information on tint and audio equipment installation. They could not answer basic information, and did not even have tint offerings listed on their website that I called about before driving down. It was a waste of my time. The staff was unfriendly, lacked knowledge, and insisted I didn't spend money on a quality 3M tint I enjoyed on my last car. I was told more about what they couldn't do, than what they could do for my tint and audio needs. These guys went above and beyond for me. I had my service done on my Honda Element 5 years ago and they were kind enough to program some new remotes for me and fix an unrelated wiring issue, free of charge without an appointment! I just walked in and the head install crew worked his magic and boom, wow, I was amazed. The system still kicks hard and I couldn't be more pleased. I went in with a car alarm problem, the alarm was NOT installed by Foss and was fairly old therefore want even sold there. The on duty manager took it as a challenge and spent 40 minutes downloading the alarms user manual, troubleshooting the problem by doing numerous things like tracing the wiring to make sure there wasn't a short. He wound up fixing the problem and not charging me at all. That was pretty dope of dude to do that for someone who never spent a penny in the store. That's good service. read more

I drive 40 minutes and they have no camera available at the price. They try to sell me a camera system for 4 times the money. I say no, no, no. They man at the counter says let me call my boss, ED.
