I got 35% on the front windshield.

I got all around tint a year ago and came back for the front windshield, he was very efficient and understanding and made sure he got the job done right. I was very pleased and appreciated the prices I didn't have to break the bank to get tint. Highly recommend to everyone!

Do not recommend, ah where to begin, I contacted Kris to have him tint my wife's 2019 Audi A6 as a surprise. I arranged for him to go to her work and was even able to secure their warehouse space for him to apply the tint. The appointment was set for 9am, January 13th 2026. Kris arrived and it very much surprised my wife, she was excited to finally be getting the window tinting I had promised her. I checked in with her throughout the day to see how he was progressing and the news was not promising. I told her to just let him work and I will be there around 1:00pm and he should be finishing up. When I arrived he had only managed to tint the rear window and the two rear wing windows. My wife informed me that he was struggling with the windshield and had been out there cussing up a storm all day. Im a 20yr Air Force Retiree and my wife works with veterans, at a non profit, to help veterans, so the cussing, although unprofessional, wasn't really an issue but still noticeable from inside the office where people were on the phone with clients. When I went into the warehouse to see how it was going the overpowering stench of BO was a little concerning, but I thought you know what this dude is having an off day, hes sweating, it will be fine. An hour goes by, I kinda wonder out there to check on the progress and nothing else has been done. He informs me that he's still struggling with the windshield, he claims he has tinted it 7 times, 3 times he had to pull it because he creased it and the others he said were due to contamination. I went back into the office and waited, and waited, about 330pm I went back to check on him, still no progress. He was working on applying the rear drivers side window and had the film cut for the rear passenger side as well. Progress or so I thought, when I checked on him again around 4 he had pulled the tint off that back door window. I started a conversation with him about when he thought this was going to be done, he informed me he could stay and tint the rest of the car but that he was only going to attempt the front window one more time before calling it quits. I asked about the rest of the windows and he said he could finish the whole job if I brought the car to his shop the next day anytime I wanted. He said 2 or 2 1/2 hours would have it done if it went well maybe an hour and a half. Meanwhile my wife is FUMING, there's tint taped to the sunroof that he wants us to just leave there till the next day, ok whatever, there's soap residue all over the car, I had to ask him for stuff to finish cleaning the windshield. He said pick a time tomorrow to bring it to me, ill make you a priority and get it done. OK, I smooth it over with the wife since the surprise has now turned into a nightmare and get ready for the next day. My wife and I both work full time, so I drove to Burlington, did my job, boogied on back to fife, picked up her car, dropped it off with him in tacoma and went to get some food and finish my paperwork. 2 1/2 hours later I haven't heard anything, my buddy takes me back over to his shop, knock on the door, it opens, and what do I see?!?! He still hasn't managed to finish the job!!!! All he did was the windshield and sunroof, none of the door windows are done, he hasn't even started them. He tells me hes gonna take a break and then get back to it, he says another 2 - 2 1/2 hours, if it goes well. At that point I was out of patients, this is insane. He gives me some excuses about never seeing rock chips in a windshield before, which is apparently the "contamination" he thought he was seeing and kept pulling the film off for. After some words back and forth we decided it was best I just take the car UNFINISHED and leave. So he didn't charge me for the work he had managed to accomplish and I have a half tinted car that I will now have to pay to have the tint removed (because I want it all to match exactly, different brands dont look the same. Close only counts in horshoes and hand grenades) from before having another shop complete the work. This has been an absolute nightmare, surprise ruined!! Thanks for nothing. Update, I removed the tint that had been applied so I wont have to pay someone to do it later. Bottom line is he was unable to complete the job i hired him to do in a reasonable amount of time.

I'll try to keep this short and to the point as I can write an essay about the experience at this…read moretint shop. Purchased this as gift for my brother to tint his new Tesla based on the reviews. The experience was not desirable. - Day 1: Brother brought his car in on the weekend (first come first serve) to tint the side windows and the rear - Upon going home, and giving the tint time to cure/dry, he saw blemishes in the passenger/driver front window and rear - Called in to inform the shop manager Chris of the blemishes. He had him come in on a specific day and time for an appointment to address the flaws. They would be addressed by the shop owner Bobby (who is also the person with the most experience tinting) - Day 2: Upon arrival, he was informed that the owner Bobby was not coming in that day. My brother was never contacted about this prior. Chris rescheduled him for another day - Day 3: They re-applied the front side window tint, however informed my brother that they could redo the rear window; however they wouldn't take responsibility if they damaged the rear defroster. Also, they indicated that the blemishes were within reason, and within their capabilities. They could not guarantee the results would be better, the same, or worse. My brother decided to accept the rear "as is" based on the above. I gave one extra star for Bobby making things right for the previous no show. He gave a refund of $50 dollars and a bottle of detail spray, as well as putting a window treatment on the windshield. Note: I want to clarify that Bobby DID offer to redo the rear, but indicated they would not be liable if they damaged the defroster. - Upon the tint curing, there were still blemishes on the passenger window. Called in to schedule another appointment Day 4: They re-applied the tint 2x, as the 1st attempt resulted in a scratch in the tint. - Upon curing, this time it was addressed without flaws. - The last and biggest issue that occurred, was damage caused to the rear deck lid. Brought the car into Tesla as the rear deck lid was bent from the installer, which now exposed the 3rd brake-light to be visible in the car when braking (see picture). The cost to fix this was more expensive than the tint job. My brother didn't want to bother going to back to the tint shop to complain. Please see attached photos. The quality of work is not up to par in my opinion, nor the attention to detail while working in someones car. I had my own Telsa tinted at a shop in San Jose CA, and the tint was flawless the first time around. The workers in this shop need to be trained better IMO. Pros: Owner attempted to make things right Cons: Quality of work. Possibly due to the limits of the installers skills.

I took my recently purchased used Rivian in for front window tinting. The vehicle was parked right…read moreinside their shop, and I stood next to it in the office area the entire time. I personally observed the owner (I believe that's who it was) use a pry tool to aggressively pop open the driver's door panel right at the top near the A-pillar with a casual "I've done this a million times" vibe, showing little caution. He also roughly pulled the weatherstripping out. Immediately after the job wrapped up, I found two small cuts in the vinyl on the top of the driver's door panel exactly where the prying started, about 3 inches from the pillar/door edge area. The spacing between those two cuts matched the spacing on the pry tool he was using. I also noticed one additional small cut in a similar top trim spot on the passenger side, though I didn't have a clear line of sight to watch the passenger door process as closely, so I can't detail what happened there specifically. No other issues visible anywhere else on the vehicle. When I bought the Rivian (used, so I was meticulous), I inspected all panels and trim thoroughly. I also checked the doors and those exact areas again during my drive straight to the shop that day. I habitually look at those spots every time I get in/out or drive no cuts or scratches existed beforehand. I pointed out the damage right away while still there. The owner immediately said he didn't pry against the panel at all and tried to explain exactly how he does it and how he couldn't have made that mark (despite me watching him do it on the driver's side), claimed I must not have noticed the cuts before, tried to downplay it, and even laughed at the suggestion he could have caused any issue. It was frustrating and felt dismissive, having watched some screw up your vehicle and then laugh in your face and try to gaslight you. The tint install itself (handled by the other technician, not the owner) was careful, professional, and looks good so far, no problems with the film application or quality. Because of the rough prying I witnessed, the damage appearing precisely where it happened (at least on driver's side, with the cut spacing matching his tool), and the complete denial plus laughing it off when confronted, I won't return and can't recommend this shop. Seriously, take detailed close-up photos of all door panels, trim, and vinyl BEFORE any service even on a used vehicle. It could save headaches. Or just go somewhere else. Disappointing overall, the owner should handle vehicles more carefully and maybe not laugh at the customer that watched it happen. **PS:** I was standing literally 3 feet away watching him pry the driver's door panel with his tool in the exact spot where the two cuts later appeared and the spacing of those cuts matches the tool perfectly. If someone wants to claim no prying happened, they'd have to explain why I clearly saw him do it right there, right then. To your response. Luke, that is the same contrived response you give on any negative comment. Your "industry standard" is nothing like what should have been done. I took it to several other shops and they said that they would take off the whole door panel, which you did not. you pry against the top portion to get the weatherstripping out. Your response when I brought this to your attention was "this happens all the time people trying to blame me for stuff" So do you think it's all your customers that are wrong or maybe that you're the common denominator. And yeah, I was pissed off because you were laughing in my face and telling me I didn't see what I saw. You know and I know what happened. Save the faux customer care response.
