We stopped in for lunch today while on a trip to the Falls. The hostess, Carole, is a hoot. Enjoyed her stories and tour. The restaurant looks a little dated but then they've been around a long time. The place was clean and well organized. The drinks were amazing and the food was good. We had a great server, too. It's always a good time and I'm thrilled to add Niagara Falls glasses to my Rainforest Cafe glass collection. read more

Very interesting theme and location very nice location right near the Niagra falls. Great place to eat and many outdoor options like ping pong and many activities. Good food and a little bit not hot and noisy. Burger is good and service is ok the wait is a little long read more

Service was atrocious! I would give half a star if I could. The only reason that they might be even remotely deserving of a full star is because the food they serve was passable for human consumption. They must only have been able to remain open due to the high volume of tourist traffic. I cannot imagine that they have any repeat customers. read more

It is kinda pricey. The food was excellent the services was really great. This is a place you would would go for a birthday or anniversary. They do have a good drink menu. With the option of a souvenir glass read more

Horrible service- more like no service! Went there with family from out of state. Had to wait a while for a table- took us back and idk why we had to wait bc there were a ton of open tables. Once seated had to wait a while before anyone came over. Once the server finally came we ordered both food and drinks at the same time. Waited like half an hour and she came back by and said food would be out soon- then nothing- mind you we had small children with us who were hungry and my visiting family needed to get back on the road to head home. Finally after close to an hour with no food showing up we decided to walk out- we knew if we stayed we would have to scarf down our food as we had metered parking or run out and pay for more time plus the cost of our food which if compared to the service probably would have been a waste of money- so in the end no one got to eat and our family with a young child had to get on the road and make an additional stop to get something to eat- totally ruined our afternoon. This place is a joke and way overpriced. Highly disappointed bc it looked nice. Should be rated with negative stars. read more

Taylor, Sam, Jamira, Abby, Amira and Brandon were all awesome. Best hotel bar experience weve had. They were all so warm and welcoming and made Rainforest a great experience. This is our first time here and we will DEFINITELY come back. Thank you all so much for a great time read more

Went here thurs evening with my 7 year old daughter. Watched a family of 4 walk right up to hostess and get a table. Asked for a table for 2 and was told they were down 2 servers, and it would be 10 minutes, but we could sit at the bar and wait. Walked past several empty tables for 2 and waited by the bar with my 7 year old, and after an awkward 15 minutes at the bar, asked the hostess if our table was ready as it was getting late, and she shrugged and said "dunno". Very poor service read more

Great place to visit. Just don't eat here. Atmosphere is fun and kid friendly. Food is as good as the worst diner. Servers seemed overwhelmed and there were open tables everywhere. I had the appetizer platter and it took 45 minutes. Food had sat in the window. Ribs were lukewarm and had to send them back. Green beans had to go back too and did not get better the second time. Had a coupon, which is the only thing that made it affordable. I counted six hosts/greeters. Throw a few of them in the kitchen to cook. read more

Great ambience and fun for my little one. But, my entree was garbage. My wife enjoyed her overpriced pasta though. Pretty much what I expected walking in. read more

A great atmosphere for a family with small children. The food was pretty good but nothing to write home about. My burger was under seasoned, my wife's pasta was sub-par. Our kids enjoyed their food from the kids menu but neither finished. If this place was a bit more focused on quality food rather than the novelty atmosphere, it would be MUCH better. Also our server never took our order, served our food or refilled a drink. Yet he was the one we tipped. Seemed unfair to the others. He was not very attentive. Will I go back? Probably will give them a second chance... read more

Ok place to eat but prices are outrageous! 4 people will be $100+. Some food is really good but nothing worth shouting about. Parking is a pain as well. Also hearing monkeys and animal sounds constantly also comes with the meal. So I'd look for something else. read more

My father, partner, and I sat waiting for a server to simply take our drink orders for 25 minutes while half a dozen workers and two managers walked by without noticing. Needless to say we walked out in frustration and found dinner elsewhere. read more

Great time nice atmosphere food was on point we coming back for sure price is right. Animals were amazing

My family ate here twice during our recent visit to Niagara Falls. The staff was incredibly friendly and the food was awesome. The atmosphere is fun, especially for kids. We had a big group both nights and they were very accommodating to our requests. read more

We had to wait but that was expected. I ordered salmon and it came out ice cold and hard. It was disgusting. I sent it back and left. So disappointed! read more

The only reason I gave 2 stars was the mixed drink and atmosphere. The atmosphere is great for kids. The food? Terrible and overpriced. You would think that because the parents are paying this much for a kid friendly experience that the food would at least be ok. We our total order was 2 kid meals plus the slushies with take home cups, 2 appetiZers a mixed drink and 2 beers. Our total was over $100 not including tip. The service was not great. The appetizers tasted like a frozen mass produced product. Not good quality at all. The pita quesadilla was terrible. The best food on our table was the ribs that came in the kid meal. It ranks in the top 5 of my worst dining experiences. Definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. Will never return. Just terrible. read more

Long wait for server or even water. They finally brought pitchers with no cups then not enough cups. Longer wait still for food. They told us numerous times that our food was being placed on a tray (for over 20 minutes we heard that). The manager attempted to make up for it by offering us free dessert but when the check finally came they hadn't applied the discounts we had brought coupons for. It took another 20 minutes to get that figured out. This place is probably OK for small parties, but if your group is larger than 6ish, don't go. read more

The ambiance and food quality delivered to the promise. We did have to suffer through some operational issues, though. It was Christmas night and Rainforest Cafe was one of the only places open. This, perhaps coupled with unseasonable warmth, saw the restaurant horribly overwhelmed and short of staff. There were long wait times for seating and food delivery without the restaurant even being fully sat. They were very honest about what to expect, though. It's unfair of me to rate primarily on the service because they were in a position to fail, and they acknowledged that. The food was pretty good, albeit overpriced. I hadn't been to a Rainforest Cafe in at least 12 years, and I won't be rushing back. You wouldn't have to talk me into eating there, though. I just might ask "is there somewhere cheaper?" Or "For that price, let's go to..." read more

Went here for the first time last night the service was fantastic the ambience was very nice and the food was absolutely delicious may be a bit pricey but well worth it especially the large tropical drinks and the manager came by to see how everything was and out waiter was not only friendly but very attentive. read more

Spend money on tickets to a zoo and hit a quality food truck near the gate. Both the animals and food would be more appealing. While the food was cooked properly, the flavors and menu are too basic. read more

Food is fantastic, the people are friendly and the atmosphere wonderful. Our server was the also the bartender and Scott was fantastic. Friendly and attentive. He also knows how to put a good drink. Thank you Scott and the staff and the people of Niagara Falls, NY and Canada for making my trip memorable. read more

The food was way overpriced and gross. All 4 meals were not fresh and the server seemed like she hated her job. Super disappointed. Won't be back. read more

I had such a pleasant time, everything was great we were seated with almost no wait and the ambience was great, our safari guide Ahmari, was so kind and made the whole experience even better she always came to the table with a smile on her face and made sure we had everything we needed. Their food wasn't the best especially for the price. The quesadilla had weird taste which I think is because of the bread. The inside of the quesadilla was good though. Great atmosphere! Great service! Me and my family had a lovely time! read more

We had no complaints!! Service was great and personable, atmosphere was fun and energetic, and food was great and came out pretty quickly! Not only a great restaurant, but also a fun time! Is great for people of all ages. Prices are as expected for a tourist area, but you get pretty decent portions! Would recommend! read more

Too pricey....waiting over 30 mins. for our food to arrive.....definitely not coming back.

Visiting This restaurant was definitely a positive experience and a great way to end our visit to Niagra Falls. My kids loved the animals and were fascinated by how real they looked. The game room was a nice addition and also a great incentive for getting my younger ones to clean their plates. The food was great. A lot of times themed restaurants are lacking in food quality, but not this time. I have included pictures. The store manager Clayton is great with kids. He made our experience special. I appreciate how he treated my family. I am a frequent user of living social and Groupon deals. A lot of times I find that businesses treat you differently when you mention that you have a discount through these services. Sometimes I dread mentioning that have a voucher because it usually effects the service especially at restaurants. Clayton did not treat my family any different and welcomed my business. This made an impact as I have had less than satisfactory experiences in the past. When visiting Niagra Falls, the The Rain Forest Cafe (Sheraton) should definitely be a priority in your list of things to experience. read more

Great service. Amazing atmosphere. Very few items to choose from on the menu, and a bit over priced. My husband and I ended up with appetizers for a meal. Delicious....The wings had lots of meat and were juicy, quesadilla was made on pita bread and was full of flavor. read more

Will not be visiting again. The best part of the visit was the character making balloon lady. 4 of us walked in at 6:55 pm, quite a few tables were empty and we were told 45 minutes to one hour. Took the pager and walked around and decided to go to TGIFridays right next door, more than 1/2 the tables were empty there, thought we'd get right in, nope 30 to 45 minute wait. Hedged our bet, put our name in, let's see who calls first. Right now I'm wishing it was TGIFridays. Although the wait was only 18 minutes, we still had no food at 8:10, finally 8:15 our food showed up, 1 dish was cold, one salad was supposed to be shrimp and it was chicken that was bland and rubbery, mashed potatoes for the kids meal were cold, and my fajitas were over cooked and the tortillas were burnt, couldn't separate them at all. All in all we finally left at 9:20, over 2 hours and most of it was spent waiting. If you can't handle the Niagara Falls business, don't try. Too many mistakes and mediocre cold food. And for those high prices! Completely unacceptable. Will not return. read more

Service was very crappy, waited an hour for our food and the orders were messed up and food wasn't warm

Food was just for being so pricey. Server was too busy talking in the back for us to be able to order refills. Don't think we'd go back.

We're from the WNY area and ended up here on Labor Day weekend. We walked in and were directed around the corner to the hostess table (why isn't this near the external entrance?...). They originally told us it'd be a 30 minute wait, which we were fine with, then found a table in the "treetop" section which is near the hostess table and walkway, which we took. This ended up being a busy area but it really didn't detract from our experience (although if you have young kids, not the best option there). Our waitress came over and introduced herself then said she'd be right back because she had to check on another table. My dad and I thought this was weird but brushed it off. When she did finally return we gave her both our drink order and our food order at the same time (iced tea and soda, and two burgers and two salads). Normally you'd expect the drinks to come almost instantly, but no. We waited almost 15 minutes and during this time two other waitresses and two bussers came and cleared two tables next to us (but left the table behind us??). Finally my dad asked where our drinks were and one of thr waitresses took our order, again, and went to get them. Magically though our waitress appeared with our drinks just then. The food was pretty good, definitely out of a bag/freezer but what do you expect from a chain? The drink issue put a horrible taste in our mouth for the whole experience despite enjoying the atmosphere and food. If they get their service in order it'd be better. read more
