Had the best experience here! Our server was amazing on top of all orders and drinks! We sat with a larger party and 3 separate checks. (Annoying I know) but thank you Cyndney we really appreciate you and your service especially through these trying times! read more

Was good kids loved it . Food was decent it's a tourist heavy area. I left full my kid had a smile what else could you ask for . Was expensive that's why I went 4 Star read more

HORRIBLE!! Food was absolutely horrible. Tomato basil soup was way too spicy when it shouldn't be spicy in the first place. overlooked food. Dinosaur chicken nuggets were obviously noticeably from Costco and were priced way too high. Glasses break if you just barely look At them. As me and my family sat down a family that was leaving came up to us and warned us the food was horrible yet we stayed and wasted 85 dollars on about 4 soups and some chicken nuggets. Worst place ever. Especially the one in Niagara falls New York. Also the service is terrible, none of the servers will help you out for about 30 minutes or more and when they do they seem to not know how to do their job. 0/10 and 0 stars if I cold. Don't go here. read more

I have been to the Rainforest Cafe in Orlando and loved it there. So when I heard they were opening up one in Niagara Falls the whole family was excited to have a little piece of vacation relatively close to home. This was not the case. It was dinner time around 5:30. We were seated immediately. Then it took us almost 30 minutes for a server to come up to take our drink order. Our server was nice but was very slow with our drinks and refills. It only looked like she had maybe 4 tables including us at most. Still I will give her the benefit of the doubt. I don't recall the menu prices being so high. I understand it's a chain restaurant that sets up shop in tourist destinations, however we walked away from dinner with no leftovers. I was starving and needed something quick. We ordered an appetizer of the mozzarella sticks. They were cooked improperly.None of them were cold but the cheese was not gooey in the middle and a couple of them were hollow in the middle with cheese kind of burnt to the sides. I didn't complain because I mindlessly ate it therefore disposing of the evidence of the error. (Again I was starving.) Our entrees arrived and 2 out of the 3 dishes were lack luster. My husband ordered the Hickory Chicken. He enjoyed it. I did manage to have a bite and it was good although it wasn't what I expected. It came with a choice of side which he chose rice and mashed potatoes. The potatoes were amazing! The rice was old and dry. He did get sick after eating later in the evening. My friend ordered a tortellini dish which she really liked. It was the only dish that seemed large enough to be worth the money. I ordered a barbecue bacon burger. It was cooked to medium like I had asked. It was suppose to have onion rings on it. I received 1 onion ring on the burger. It came with fries and the portion was about the size of a McDonald's kids meal portion. It was very disappointing to say the least. After a long day of walking around and being so excited about them coming to the area it was such a huge let down. I honestly will probably not go back and take the money I saved not eating there to gamble with at the casino. read more

I cannot believe the rudeness that my mother received by a manager at the Niagara Falls, NY site on the 10th of April. She had previously purchased a shirt, and when she got home she found that it was smaller than what she had thought. When we went back for lunch on the 10th (we go there once/twice a month, as my son loves it there (just shy of two years old)). When she went up to return it, they called a manager for the approval. Managers name was Clayton. Clayton was looking over her receipt and notices that there was a discount on her receipt. He inquired what that was for, my mother replied it was a military discount. To which his reply was "you don't look like you were in the military". Shame on you Clayton, SHAME ON YOU! My mother receives the military discount due to my father, who served in Vietnam in the USMC. He was shot and received multiple injuries suffered from a hand grenade. She has been assisting him since he got home, prior to me being born. My questions - why was this question even asked, what is it to him? She has a military ID. Is this how you treat military personnel? Is this the way you treat veterans and the family of those veterans? If it were not for talking to Tom (different manager) who was very professional and Kelly who was our awesome server, you would have received a 1 star rating... it took a lot for me to put a 2 star rating even with their effort. Since this has happened I have called Landry's Inc. to advise them of what has happened, they said that they would escalate it and i will receive a call withing 3-5 business days (I called on April 11th). I have not heard from them at all, so I contacted Landry's back to see what the issue is, I was told that he (guy at Landry's) had emailed the site (three times now about a follow up call) as they are franchised... Yea, I'm still waiting... read more

I think the restaurant needs someone to teach the hostess manners ! They advertised on the web site Wednesday as family night free kids meals and game room pass. We were there for a birthday celebration 2 children .and upon check out told they don't go by what the web site states ! And paid full price, which for the menu was pricey! Very disappointed for the outcome ! For being in a tourist area of Niagara Falls you really need to do better! Foods was ok and waitress was ok too but management not OK! read more

I had a amazing time with my family while we were visiting Niagara Falls and we went there for lunch one day and dinner another.

Ambience ok for a family place. Food was very poor. I ordered a sausage pasta dish, that came with four very small pieces of sausage in dry, firm pasta. Good place for young Kidd's but not as an adult diner. read more

The rainforest cafe. The excitement of it all. we started out at the hostess whare they would barely talk to us. seemed like we had to pry them for info. then we had to wait 35 minutes at the arcade for an open table witch was a joke. and about the same for our food after ordering it. witch was ok. the theme was cool being our first time. the kids liked it. All together we were thare about 2hrs. read more

Atmosphere was great! Our 6 little grandchildren LOVED exploring and looking for all the jungle animals. Service and staff were great and accommodating. Food was delicious would definitely come back when visiting the area again. read more

We chose this place due to the proximity to our hotel and it looked entertaining for our young girls. We ended up enjoying it more than I thought we would. The staff was friendly and prompt, our food came fairly quickly, and it was pretty tasty. My wife especially loved the guacamole burger. The atmosphere was fun and interactive for the kids. My only complaints are the price (though understandable I suppose for the area) and the fact that there were a few limitations to the menu due to non-functioning equipment in the kitchen. It's worth a try! read more

About what you would expect in one of the biggest tourist traps on earth. Food was okay, prices a bit high, and service was friendly but slow. The animatronic elephant behind my wife had a distracting malfunctioning eye that I wanted to climb up and fix. Probably a good choice if you have younger children. read more

I waited 1 hour for a feather in my chicken nugget and cold fries and a lemonade that didn't taste like a lemonade.

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We had a party of eight and our server was phenomenal. The food was great, too. We will definitely be returning. read more

Slowest service ever!!!!!!!! I was ill after I left. My burger was pretty rare. I didnt order it that way. Contacted corporate and never heard from anyone. read more

Super kid friendly environment. The food was tasty but then again I was starving by the time I was seated so I'd eat about anything. Place had multiple tables open but my party of four had to wait 50 minutes until we were seated. Luckily our waitress Jill was charming, attentive and engaged our table with light conversation before she had to run and serve another table. The "Caribbean" plate that I ordered was delicious (but again I was starved at this point). 2/4 people at our table were pleased with their meals. So it seems like a hit or miss. read more

First visit to Rainforest Café, definitely all about the decor, the price you pay is not delivered in the quality of the food. Our server and the rest of the staff were top notch friendly. read more

Food was extremely overpriced and was terrible! I got the bbq bacon cheeseburger and it was so greasy I could barley eat it. The bacon was undercooked on it and it was definitely not worth 18$! My daughter got the cheese pizza and it was undercooked and so gross. It tasted like one of those school cafeteria pizzas. Drinks are also overpriced and not good the margarita was too sour. The service was alright I felt bad because it wasn't the servers fault. We ended up barley touching our food we just ate fries which were average and ended up paying 80$ for 3 people. I wouldn't off minded if the food was actually worth it but it was all terrible. read more

I give 3 stars simply because of the ridiculous prices. Our server was incredible, very friendly and attentive. The food was good, nothing to rave about. This place is all about atmosphere, which the kids love. read more

Absolutely Terrible, stay away if you value quality customer service and do not want to smell sewer!! First off i have been to the Rainforest Cafe in Las Vegas, Boston, and Atlantic City, absolutely terrific!!! The prices were very reasonable. The problem at this restaurant lies with the rude, incompetent and slow service. Our waitress, Tia, acted like an animal, her behavior would fit in perfectly with the many 'animal' attractions that were displayed throughout the restaurant. The entire restaurant smelled like a public toilet at Penn Station. Aside from her despicable attitude, this 'woman' actually put her hands into her pants while taking our order, it looked like she was 're-arranging' something-absolutely horrendous. We had a party of 3 for dinner, after 20 minutes of sitting at the table the waitress finally came up to us and asked us if we were 'ready to order', my friend asked her for if she could recommend any gluten free items because of her dietary needs and Tia responded, "ma'am I'm not a nutritionist, you will have to choose what you eat", we thought she was joking at first as she said it with a wide smile and giggle, anyway completely inappropriate! 30 minutes later I received my margarita, and ten minutes later my friends received their wine? I ordered a steak and potato, my steak came out rare when I ordered it well done, my friend did not receive the proper dressing for her salad. The waitress came back to drop of some napkins we had requested an hour ago and I let her know of my issue with my food. She stated she would be 'right back', 15 minutes went by and I did not see her, nor did she bring me a new steak, when a supervisor came over to check on us I let him know of my dissatisfaction with our waiter, he replied 'do you want me to talk to her'. What??? That's it!, after the whole hand in the pants, wrong food, no food..... everything! At that point I just wanted to leave. When our waitress dropped off the check she tossed it on the table next to the un-touched steak I just spent $25 on. Just the type of service you would expect from a white trash town! Go to Canadian side of the Falls. Beware! read more

The decor is nice but service is just ok, we had to wait almost 20 minutes after we were seated to get a server. The food is ok (nothing really special) We saw some info in the website, so we asked for it and they never honored that, the excuse is they are a franchise. read more

Slow service, not busy with customers but there was a long wait for food. Food was just ok for what you'd expect for this type of chain.

Fun atmosphere, friendly, welcoming staff. Food was good. Service was not great, it appeared that they were short staffed. We were put in a very small table for two back in a corner. Felt like we were the bad kids set aside. A chair was soon stored next to me that was no longer needed as a neighboring table. The waitress was nice but we had to get her attention for all that we needed. (Normal needed items: ketchup for fries, later a drink refill, then lastly a take home box). I was not impressed at all that part of the dining experience. I'm usually a very generous tipper. Sadly, I only only left 10%. I did appreciate the fun, cool atmosphere even being over 40. read more

Really cool place to have a meal. The burgers were super juicy and had a great taste! The prices are a little high, but Niagara is a tourist attraction so that makes sense. The waitress was so friendly and very generous. read more

Called ahead only to be told that they were out of reservation slots and it would be first come first serve but that it was emptying out so it shouldn't be too long of a wait. Upon arriving we had trouble finding the hostess station, then we're told it would be a 45 minutes since three people just came in. Absolutely no professionalism. Rude hostesses saying quote "that's just how we run it here!". No place to sit and wait (and my mother has a broken foot). Terribly small. Confusing layout. Horrible parking situation. All this before we even get a table!!! read more

The worst experience in along time. Took us over 30 min to be seated in a 1/2 empty restaurant at 2pm for lunch. As parties left - none of the few parties waiting were seated. Isn't that mismanagement for the poor kitchen who is then bombarded when everyone does sit down? We were finally seated off to the side away from any of the animal scenes. When asked to be re-seated, we were given a choice even further behind something IN A 1/2 EMPTY RESTAURANT. When I stated this I was told, the tables weren't clean. How can that be as most of the employees sauntered around (no urgency around)? We watched as a cleaner took off 2 plates at a time from an actually dirty table - back and forth he went. Don't think I ever saw one wiped down so maybe all the other empty tables were dirty. However, they should not have been! The salad should have been mixed greens - I challenge anyone to find anything other than a limp piece of iceberg lettuce which I cannot eat. I was never asked if there was an issue and why I did not finish my food. Drinks were provided by a bar person in souvenier glasses for free - we assumed as good will gestures or a mixed up order than they didn't want wasted since he came around asking if anyone likes this type of beverage. Our waitress seemed miffed by this and took my husband's drink that she was delivering back to the bar shaking her head - and by the way - we got charged for it. When she came to wrap the glasses to take home, she only wrapped one - I assume the one she decided to charge us for. Really???? I've put in a review through Rainforest site as well (which doesn't even list Niagara Falls as a location - hmmmm maybe they know the types of reviews they would get). read more

Long wait over priced and my meal was over cooked and steak for fajita inedible. They offered nothing in compensation. Smh terrible

My boyfriend and I are vacationing in the area and we decided to come here for dinner. The pastalaya was excellent! Great service! The restaurant wasn't packed either and we were seated right away. Family friendly as well. Perfect place to unwind after a day at the Niagara Falls State Park. read more

Fun restaurant to go to I've been there couple times. Fun atmosphere specially for kids and good food. Will definitely go back there ...

I read on the site " Allergy Eats" that this chain was in the top 10 most allergy friendly restaurants so naturally I came here with higher expectations... my son has a severe tree nut allergy and I can not eat gluten. When I asked about the mashed potatoes being gluten free I was told " no you can't have them they have milk in them", I also had to "remind" the staff that they use hazelnut butter and wanted to make sure this wasn't in or near my sons food, this only confused them more, they also didn't know the difference between tree nut allergy and peanut allergies... I feel like if you are getting this prestigious rating within the allergy community you should be aware of allergies and staff should be trained as to the menu... this was very disappointing. read more

Very displeased and overpriced given the quality. While we enjoyed the environment of the animal animatronics, everything else was awful. Appetizer looked as if it was microwaved and then left out til cold before it got to our table. Served with stale chips. Then our entree and kids meals were just as bad. If visiting, I would not recommend this place. Of our three days in Niagara, this by far was our worst meal. read more

The only thing I liked about this place is that the waiter was very nice. Otherwise the food was EXTREMELY overpriced and the appetizers looked good for only 2 people to share instead of 5. We asked for more chips and received ice cold ones. The animatronics just played the same noise every 3 minutes and it got annoying really fast. Not to mention it was so loud that I can hear it from the hotel room. read more

Prior to this we had never eaten at a Rainforest Cafe, and honestly not sure we will after this experience. Not that it was terrible, but we thought it was rather pricy for what was on the menu. Nearly everything was $20. Once we ordered, our food took probably 40 minutes (or more) to get to us. There was some mixup where our server thought she'd put the order in and hadn't. I don't know. Ultimately, the manager made it right by saying it was on the house. So we appreciated they worked to make it right. The food itself was fine. Not the best food we've ever eaten and definitely not worth that long wait. All in all, it's fine. Just maybe not for us. read more

The atmosphere is phenomenal! Great for families, kids, and adults! The food is good. Very high priced and extremely long wait espicially during tourist season. They do have a connected arcade area where you can win tickets while waiting to be seated. Definately worth saving up some money and going to at least once in your lifetime. Being my first time in Niagara Falls, I wasn't sure where to go but saw Rainforest on one of the main roads. It was 1:30pm, we were walking and hungry, So we went in. We were sat quickly, maybe because there were only a few customers. Our waiter came up to us within 10 minutes (long wait), said a corny spill about the fake animals in the restaurant, took drink order and left. Took another 10 minutes to get the drinks. Then too another 10 minutes for him to come back to take the order. There where no customers, why the heck was it taking so long? Took order, we ordered 2 appetizer samplers due to the cost being too much! $17 for a simple burger. Seriously! The salads were $7 & nothing but iceberg leftover pieces, gross! The appetizer samplers were disgusting. Cheesesticks were not cooked thoroughly, the spinach dip was sour, the egg rolls and chicken were just ok. I am more than disappointed in the service and food at this restaurant. I definitely Do Not Recommend this place! read more
