My daughter originally got her graduation photos taken at prestige and they did not turn out good at all. She was so disappointed and didn't want me to order them. I decided to take her to Rainbow Studio because I needed the photos by tomorrow! I love how fast the process was. It did not take long for the photographer Tom to take the pictures. He knew how to pose her, he asked her what side was her good side, and he taught her how to pose with confidence. The pictures turned out amazing and we ended up ordering additional pictures. His customer service was great. Overall, The experience was amazing! read more

This place was so easy, fast, and affordable!! I was able to choose different backgrounds and they helped with the poses. I will definitely go again. I loved how the pictures turned out. read more

You really can't beat the professionalism and skill of this place. Came in with my family and it was a fantastic experience all around, left with great looking photos and experience. Rainbow studio is an amaing place to get good quality photos and has great customer service. I really recommend this place.

he did so well on me and my husbands photos highly recommend and if you ever need maternity shoots done he is the guy for it.

Great experience! Packages were reasonable! My little family of 3 went on a Sunday early evening and the wait time was about 15 minutes. Once the owner let us into the studio, we were in and out within 10 minutes. Came back within 2 hours to review the proofs and to pick up my photos! I recommend this place! We will return when my son turns 1 year old! read more

Rainbow Studio can truly capture magical moments in photographs! The staff are very courteous and are educated in the world of photography. Their studio is clean even though it's always busy! I've never seen this place empty each time I've been there or am in the shopping plaza area. My fiance and I recently took pictures here and had plans to go to Walmart or Costco to create our photo cards. Well, we told the owner of Rainbow Studio about our plans and he created an amazing engagement announcement photocard for us! We fell in love with it and bought 100. The picture quality is perfect and their services are fast and very affordable. I'll definitely be taking more pictures here in the near future. read more

Decent. Location is a bit difficult to find, perhaps the address given here is incorrect; located in the same plaza as Samosa Garden. - backgrounds are plastered on the wall (probably about 150 to choose from) - props seen better days, definitely needs to be clean/replaced. - doesn't "fix/adjust" you when shooting, my hair stuck out between some poses :( - good package deal value (chose package #2 - $29.99) + 3 8x12 + 5 5x7 + 12 wallets - friendly staffs/owners - walk-ins are welcomed (came in Saturday morning, no wait!) Inconsistent sizes; disliked the white border trim, made it difficult to frame. Was charged an additional $5 to keep proofs. Pictures turned out great! Just hated the ones that looked like we're floating. Wouldn't mind taking future pictures here. read more

Nice people/photographers. Ok package deals. Will probably be the only "good studio" in the Sacramento area. But will never do reprints with them again. Spent $92 on reprints this week & photos came back blurry ass hell. Went in right when they opened to do my reprints & he told me to pick them up the next. Next day comes, I go 2 hours after he opens (to give him extra "time" to finish up my prints), & I STILL had to wait almost an HOUR for my pictures... & I was the only one there!! read more

I just want to say WE LOVE our pictures!!! We went on Sunday for my birthday to take family photos ( I surprised my mom). She kept saying she wanted photos of her grandkids while she's out here visiting. It was great to see her face when my niece's and nephews came over. We all drove to the photo place. There was no waiting. He was quick and knew how to position everyone. The kids weren't crying. It was an overall great experience. We went back on Monday to pick out the pictures and backgrounds for the package. We had two background changes, but he was very patient and had no problem changing for us. It's a great package at a reasonable price. Probably would have paid an arm and a leg at Sears or JC Penny's. I will definitely be back. Hubby and I need some photos. read more

I went in yesterday to take pictures with my mom & daughter and they came out AMAZING! Tom really made us feel comfortable especially my mom because she is really picky when it comes to her picture being taken. She loved every single pose so we bought extras. We will definitely be back to take our family pictures on July! Thank you so much. read more

Love how my photos came out . Clear . And he took his time to let us get prepare and ready

My family has been taking pictures with this family business for about 25 years now and as long as he's in business, no other photographer will see a dollar of my money until he retires! I remember being a little girl and my parents brought our family of 8 here every 2 years to take pics. Now my siblings and I are married with children of our own and we still come here. This family and establishment has always been extremely friendly, professional and affordable all these years. If you need some great pictures to hand out to friends or hang up at home look no further! It will be a sad day for my family once he retires! We just love him and his family so much! Thanks for being so good to us all these years! read more

Definitely going back again! I have a huge family and everywhere we went was closed or they refused to take a big group 18 ppl! Granted we had to get the biggest package and paid a lil extra but it was worth it!! Thanks to Rainbow studios he said yes and the pictures came out beautifully!! Loved it!! Thanks so much!! I would definitely be going back and would recommend his services! read more

Had such a great time. The photographer made it so fun for my big family and I. We had kids and he worked with all of them. Snapped a lot of photos and had options to choose from. Highly recommend. We'll be back read more

Went in to take a passport photo and it was great! Super fast, less than 20 minutes. The photographer was really professional and even edited my complexion. Would definitely recommend for passport, prom, and graduation pictures. read more

Terrible customer service... my daughter & I came in on Monday to take pictures and we were done around 5:20 pm although it says one hour photo we were asked to come back the following day at 12pm to pick the photos up. I was a bit confused but I agreed. The next day I arrived at 12:15 to pick my photos up and NO ONE was there... finAlly at 1:15pm someone arrived! I then had to wait 15 minutes for photos to be shown to me so I could pick which pictures I wanted! The guy who helped me was not pleasant at all & didn't seem to concerned that he told me a certain time to be there and he wasn't there! Terrible customer service... will not be returning! The photos came out ok but all of the props were dirty read more

Hands down the best one hour photo in Sacramento. I came in today within an hour before closing and needed pictures for a birthday party this weekend. They did everything they could and ensured that I received my pictures before they closed for the holiday. They are the best! read more

My family and I came here and it was good the photographer was very nice and really good backgrounds to choose from too plus the packages was great as well. read more

These guys are great. You can just walk right in and take complex photos, no appointments needed. The staff may seem quiet and shy but when it's time to take photos, they are full of ideas and how to make magical photos. Their prices are wayyyy better than going to Sears or JC Penney. read more

I liked the staff and the end product but gave the place 3 stars because I don't know if I can honestly recommend or if I'll go back. The reason was because all the props, seating and cloth they used is filthy. It looks like they never wash or wipe down anything. If everything was kept cleaner I would highly recommend. read more

This was our first time here & the reason we went was because it was close to home. WOW! Tom did an amazing job! For a Monday he was busy but he was on top of his game. I took in my 6 month old & he got her to smile in some pictures. Though he had people waiting, he never rushed us and gave us time to redress our baby for the next shoot. He was open to ideas and suggestions. I will for sure be coming back to this place. Tom has been at this location since 1994 and it shows in his work. He truly enjoys & knows what he's doing. Don't be fooled by the location, it's well worth it! read more
