Best. Donuts. Ever! The lady behind the counter was very friendly and they had a really wide assortment of donuts despite being kinda late in the morning. Immediately, just from initial appearance, you could tell these donuts were better than average. When we got them home, the fam and I tore into the dozen. Everything was so good! We found this little donut hiding under a big shopping center, not knowing it was there every time we drove by. Our usual donut place was closed so we came here and it was good. This review is based solely on their blueberry donuts. I'm not sure if this is the same Rainbow Donuts as the ones I've been to in Cerritos and Anaheim but the blueberry donuts here didn't look or taste anything like the ones I've tried. Usually I can spot a blueberry donut by their color (darker than regular glazed with blueberry spots) but I couldn't pick this one out; I had to ask the employee for it. When she gave me the donut I couldn't believe it was a blueberry donut. I could barely see any blueberries and the shape was totally different. When I took my first bite, I was disappointed. I really couldn't taste the blueberries because there was hardly any in it. I hate to knock the review down on a place that has so many rave reviews but blueberry donuts are the latest craze now in the donut world. If this place doesn't keep up with the rest of them, it might be hard to compete. Maybe they have other flavors that are pretty legit but nothing else looked that interesting to me. read more

Stopped by here cuz I was craving a smoothie. I was next door at Gracie Barra Jiu Jitsu and one of the instructors Daniel told me how good the Rainbow Donuts made smoothies. So I went and gave it a try. I met a girl named Pin. I'm hoping I spelled her name right. But she was the sweetest thing ever! Super nice! I asked a couple questions about the smoothies and she helped me out right away. The smoothies are made by real fruit. They also have the option to put boba in the smoothies which was awesome cuz I love boba! Pin was super nice. && the smoothie I got which was Mango, was really really good. I loved it! Definitely will be coming back whenever I'm at Gracie Barra here in Diamond Bar. Come check out this place you guys if you want some good donuts and great smoothies. I walked in and made my donut choices based on the menu which was plainly visible with donuts types and prices. Buttermilk bars were plainly prices at $1.75 each. When I got to the cash register I was charged $4 for 2 buttermilk donuts. When I questioned the total price should be $3.50 per the menu, the girl, sorry, prices went up... I just said ok, I wont be coming back. The buttermilk bars were the absolute smallest donuts I ever paid $2 each for. My church, Landmark Church of Diamond Bar, buys about 7 dozen donuts each Sunday. They will be learning about my bad experience. Donut shops are plentiful in the area, one shop is about 2 blocks from the church. The church needs to move on to a new donut shop. Additionally, they charge 75 cents extra for credit card purchases, and 2 extra for credit card orders over $35. Some people have brains and no money, some people have money and no brains, this shop needs to shop for better credit charge services, like Square Up. They also need to be robbed of a large sum of cash, so they can realize the safety and benefits of cordially accepting credit cards. read more

The lady who works here either doesn't know how to calculate or tries to rip you off. I ordered two dozen and she said it's 24 dollars. I vividly remember this because I originally wanted to buy twenty but she insisted buying two dozen is better because it is only 24 dollars. On the menu, it said a dozen is 14 dollars so I thought if you buy two dozens you get discount. She charged me 28 dollars and I told her she said 24, she said it doesn't matter what she says with her mouth because the price is written on the menu. Great new owners that really know how to make donuts. The apple fritters are amazing and the blueberry are a close second. They have the essence of donuts down. Super crispy exterior with the sugar crunch of Creme brûlée and a soft interior with the bust of fresh tasting donut goodness. They are really the only sweet that I would break my diet for. I have fond memories of this place. We were DBHS class of 2007. Back then I had Mrs. Lemon for first period. Always up at the crack of dawn but one thing that always brightened my week was Fridays. Simply because Mrs. Lemon always brought two giant boxes of donuts for her TAs every single Friday. I was her first TA of the day and always had first dibs and they were always still warm! I've tried just about every single donut they offer because of Mrs. Lemon! Even after HS I would frequent Rainbow Donuts because that's what I was most familiar with. I have gone to many donut shops far and wide including so many of these trendy/fancy donut shops that's been popping up just to realize that I didn't know how good I had it back then. The best donut shop I go to for the mornings I'm craving a sugar donut. Other donut places in Diamond Bar have too much sugar, or the sugar falls off because the donut is too hard. Which was super good! I had read reviews on their blueberry donuts and remembered at the last minute too! That one is my favorite so far!!! So many memories here, I love the donuts from here. Even though I grew up on donuts from both Donut Tree and Rainbow Donuts, Rainbow Donuts knocks Donut Tree way out of the ballpark.
