They consistently reminded us that everything would be okay, and they meant it. This was not an easy move. The apartment was an attic unit in an older duplex with very narrow, steep stairs. There were also unexpected challenges, including needing to remove a door just to get the washer out. Fred and Stephan never complained once. They stayed focused, solution-oriented, and confident, which made an enormous difference for all of us. At one point, another tenant became upset about the U-Haul ramp being positioned in the driveway. Fred handled the situation calmly and respectfully, explaining there was enough room and offering a simple alternative route. Even when emotions were running high around us, both Fred and Stephan remained composed and professional, which helped keep the entire move on track. After loading everything, they followed us to the U-Haul storage unit and somehow managed to fit everything into a 5x9x10 unit. I truly did not think it could be done, but they packed it expertly and made full use of the space. This was an emotionally exhausting day for our family, and Fred and Stephan turned what could have been an overwhelming experience into one that felt safe, manageable, and even reassuring. Their kindness and professionalism went far beyond what I expected from movers. They also offered to help us again when my niece moves into her new apartment, and we will absolutely be calling them. If you are looking for movers who are skilled, respectful, calm under pressure, genuinely care about the people they are helping, and provide exceptional service at a fair price, Fred and Stephan are the ones you want. They got most things in the pod in less than 90 minutes, then the 2 helper guys just stood around while my husband and Paul did the rest. They used their pickup to ferry the boxes from the house to the pod, which really sped things up, but then the 2 helper guys covered the back of the truck and acted weird and frankly kind of menacing. Paul charged me an extra 100 dollars for using the truck even though they'd spent half the time loading because of it. They didn't really finish the job, but they were so intimidating that I paid it - $525 for about 95 minutes work. And I have spent a year looking for one box of religious artifacts that were supposed to be loaded on that pod - I can only assume that the two guys had shoved a box into the truck bed and were guarding it towards the end. I hope they enjoyed the relics of my dead nephew, which I would very much like to have back, and my meditation supplies. Perhaps they needed those things more than I did. Overcharged, plus missing things = worst mini-moving experience ever. Would not recommend.

He was flexible and solution oriented. His guys - Jarvis and Oscar squeezed me in hours after our initial time (once the POD actually arrived) and HUSTLED. It was a hot and muggy day, but these guys busted their butts. They were super professional, communicated well between each other and were very careful with our stuff. Updating my review after poor experience with the owner, Joe. The two guys that helped me pack were…read morevery professional and courteous and despite the problems I encountered when I unpacked my furniture I would hire these two again if it were not for Joe. When my pod arrived at my destination, multiple pieces were damaged (see pictures). I provided 24 moving blankets for a small 1 bedroom apartment, which I estimated based on google search recommendations. I'm not the expert, their company is. All blankets were used but there were no indications from the two guys that they needed more. I also provided bubble wrap and plastic wrap, of which there were plenty extra, and moving straps, which Joe recommended I buy, but the guys did not use. The guys wrapped up things outside where I could not directly supervise, but I figured they were the experts. Damaged items: A side table was scratched up on sides and top and this piece had not been wrapped in moving blankets - this was placed in the middle of the pod well before they could have possibly run out of moving blankets. Even if they had run out, they could have used bubble wrap. The drawer knob on the front of this piece was also missing but I found I rolling in the pod. A dining chair had a very large, 4 inch chunk out of the leg, extending about 1/3 the width of the leg. Many scratches on legs of furniture, none of which were wrapped in plastic or bubble wrap. I called Joe to discuss the damaged items and he asked me to send him pictures, which I did. He did not respond for about a month, so I texted again. Still no response after a week so I called him and left a message to which he called back a few days later. This conversation was entirely unproductive and he refused to accept that his company could have been responsible for the damage. He said that "this many issues is unheard of." I mainly focused on the 2 most damaged items, which is not an "unheard of" amount. He also said the 4 inch chunk was "just a scratch." He blamed it first on the moving company that unpacked me and when I pointed out that one piece wasn't even wrapped, then blamed it on me not providing enough moving blankets. To which I responded that his guys never came to me with this issue and that I would have been more than happy to go out and buy more or give them blankets from my apartment. His response was that his guys ALWAYS tell the customer if they need additional things...but they did not tell me. By this point, I really was not expecting any sort of insurance claim based on prior poor reviews of his company. I wanted to express my disappointment that his guys did not come to me if they needed additional materials and that they should have utilized plastic or bubble wrap on the legs of furniture. I thought that as the owner of his company, he would acknowledge my feedback, however he refused to accept that his guys could have been responsible for any damage. Everything he said was an excuse. I would have appreciated a simple "I'm sorry that your items were damaged and I will speak with my guys about ensuring they communicate with the customer if they need more materials." Instead Joe made it seem like my interpretation of the situation were not true and that it was my fault my items were damaged. I highly recommend not using this company solely because of the owner, but if you do use this company, please directly supervise the people who pack your items and check in repeatedly if they need additional materials.

To this day, they refuse to take accountability. I've moved over 15 times in my life. I've worked with reputable movers and shady ones, but NOTHING comes close to the absolute trainwreck that is TopTier Moving (a name so ironic it's almost offensive). They quoted me about $3,600 for my move. Reasonable. But when the movers actually showed up, Move King, LLC, TopTier's third-party vendor that they never warned me about, they immediately told me the job would cost me an additional $3,000. No discussion. No explanation. Just a bait-and-switch right at my front door. Let that sink in: before a single item was moved, I was already being held hostage for $3,000 more than I agreed to. And it only got worse from there. My TopTier "point of contact," who was really just the sales guy who convinced me they were a reputable company, ghosted me immediately after my initial payments were processed. He never once answered a call or email after I paid. Move King tacked on ridiculous charges like $300 because the hallway in my building was "too long." That's not a joke...they literally charged me by the foot to walk. Every step they took seemed to cost me more money. I ended up paying over $7,000, nearly double the original quote. And what did I get for it? A shattered ( and brand-new) $1,300 Google TV, broken in transit despite paying top dollar for boxes and "protective wrapping." So much for professional care. I had to take the time to write this because companies like this should be shut down. I've never experienced a company so unethical in my life and I hope this doesn't happen to you.
