I want to start off to say this is one of my favorite places. Going or getting takeout is always great! Tonight I picked up takeout - came in early just because I was already in the area and it was cold outside. I didn't even ask if anything was ready because I was a solid 15+ minutes early. The worker saw me hanging out and asked if I was picking up, I assured him I was very early and not to worry about it. He was so sweet and went and talked to the kitchen to push my order through a little faster, which was so kind and unexpected. We ordered a cheese flatbread (family favorite), Al pastor bowl (husband ate every bite), zucchini chips and tzatziki (excellent), and the chicken gyro (very good, we have repeatedly ordered). Unfortunately, tonight part of the gyro wrap was totally uncooked. At first I thought it was just a little soggy because the sauces drip to the end/last few bites of the wrap, but after looking at it a little more, I realized that it was just totally uncooked, stretchy dough. Rail Trail is a place that never disappoints. Whether you're looking for a casual weeknight dinner, a celebratory meal, or a place to grab takeout, Rail Trail never misses. Although a flatbread restaurant by name, Rail Trail has delicious dishes across the menu, especially in the appetizer section (I eat the seasonal butternut squash hummus with a spoon). On my most recent visit, my table shared the Buffalo cauliflower and za'atar quesadilla mezze, both of which were excellent. We also enjoyed the Mexican street corn flatbread, and a southwestern salad with fresh and local cod. Although a busy night for Rail Trail, service was attentive and we enjoyed the outdoor patio seating. Overall, Rail Trail is the place to go if you're looking for fresh, good food. With a rotating seasonal menu, great cocktails, and better ambience, this is a place I recommend to all of my friends. I can't wait for my next meal here! read more

So glad I found this spot while on a trip to Marlborough. Super healthy and tasty options here (think "good for you comfort food"). I tried the Kabob Curry Bowl with falafel and Gochujang flatbread pizza. The curry bowl needed extra sauce, which I requested, since the falafel was dry; but with the additional sauce was a very delicious bowl. I was in the area -waiting on my friend to get some ice cream right across but then realized that I was hungry and could eat something before that ice cream - decided to find out what was around - looked up this place online and that chicken wrap picture on the website kept calling my name. Walked in there, super lovely front door staff told me they had tables available- got a table for 2 and asked my friend to join me there instead. Server was a delight! My wrap got to me in a timely fashion! Comes with fries or a salad - chose the fries - absolute best fries I ve ever had. That wrap- that pita bread so soft and chewy, super fresh! Looking at the tables next to me food seems to be well portioned. Ambiance is loud but not to the point of you needing to scream at the person sitting across so they can hear you. The drinks looked good on the menu but didn't get a chance to try any of them ( was saving room for that ice cream) I want to go back- even though I would be coming from Boston and that s a nice hour away ( if you re going against traffic, totally worth it)... so much of the menu I want to try - wish I lived in Hudson. I'd been to Hudson a couple of times, visiting New City creamery and Less Than Greater Than, but I'd always gotten full on sweets and speakeasy fare, so I never made it to Rail Trail. The idea of flatbread pizza excited me even before I learned the owner was Greek, but once I realized the Greek connection, Rail Trail became my priority. And I'm so glad I went! This place is BUSY. We arrived at 4:30pm on Friday and managed to snag a booth, but by the time we left, the line was out the door. The decor is somewhere between rustic, friendly diner, and night-on-the-town. I suppose in a town like Hudson, it serves all of those purposes (as well as take-out!) (Soon to be fixed by opening a second, take-out-only location). I was impressed by the menu because 1. More than just flatbread 2. Greek influence 3. Seasonal offerings Case in point: butternut squash hummus. And wow! I loved it. The crispy chickpeas on top were a delight, but the flavor was just sweet enough, perfectly creamy, and definitely Fall. We also tried the chicken souvlaki, a dish I usually avoid because I'm not a "meat on a stick" person. But this souvlaki is so tender and juicy and not served on a stick; it's served over couscous, with tzatziki and a bright horiatiki salad (otherwise known as a "Greek" salad: tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, feta). It was refreshing and filling. But no worries! We saved room for not one, but TWO pizzas. And we got two flavors each: buffalo chicken and stuffed banana pepper on one; Mexican Street corn and gorg and squash on the other. I honestly don't know what my favorite was...they were all great. I guess if I *had* to choose only one, I might go with the stuffed banana pepper, but I love spicy and it was a unique idea. Awesome staff and kind servers. I've been to Rail Trail quite a few times but my experience never fails. Yesterday I went in for a family brunch and our waitress went over and beyond on service. I wanted a cold brew drink and they didn't have it anymore and she beyond to make it happen for me! The food itself is unbelievable. I had a breakfast flatbread and this is a place you will never leave hungry with how great the food is. It's such a fun space as well and the restaurant ambiance is so nice. Hands down best pizza I have had in this area. It's thin and crispy which is my style so I could be biased. Came in and service was a bit hectic but our server was beyond nice so we didn't mind at all. The pizza is unbelievable classics tastes amazing but their featured pizzas are even better which I would give a try. I was saddened to see they got rid of their Korean style chicken, but being able to have to different halves for the pizza was a real treat. On a 12 hour trip up the coast, I drowsily rolled over and opened my eyes from the passenger seat just in time to see an alluring advertisement from foodie heaven. This happened to be one of those large, blue, interstate signs that calls attention to some of the local dining options located just off the exit. All I had to do was read the word 'flatbread' and I was sold.  My husband, who prefers to merely run through a drive-thru while traveling, took some persuading... but soon enough, we were parked down the street from The Rail Trail Flatbread Co. Cue harp music - It was kismet. Upon entering, we quickly got a feel for this casual spot and it's honest, upscale offerings. We were promptly escorted to a room in the back with a nice amount of light and a decent view. Since it was approaching the evening hour, I ordered a Long Island Iced Tea and skimmed the menu while anxiously awaiting its arrival. Although the menu had a large variety of options I wanted to try, I knew I had to go with one of their famous flatbreads... and who can pass up a brussels sprouts appetizer?? We placed an order for a plain cheese flatbread (my husband), a fig & walnut flatbread (for me), and the crispy sprouts for a starter. Let's begin with the brussels sprouts. Um, brussels and bacon? Nothing new. Brussels and bacon and capers? Oh muh god. Heaven. Sprout lovers know the necessity of a bright acidity against the oiliness of a fried brussels sprout. Why is this the first time I've experienced them with the capers?! These are a MUST try and simply will not disappoint. As one would assume from my husband's choice in flatbread, he's not very adventurous when it comes to his palate. However, he has repeatedly stated that the cheese flatbread he ordered from Rail Trail was the best cheese 'pizza' he has EVER had. The crushed tomato sauce was fresh and flavorful against their ooey-gooey house cheese blend. And as for the fig & walnut, it was everything I had hoped for. I mean, roasted garlic, black mission figs, caramelized onions, honey, balsamic, arugula, walnuts... all of these flavor profiles and textures perfectly aligned to make an outstanding flatbread. Kudos to the chef for their epic concoctions and knowledge of flavors and finish. Overall, our experience at The Rail Trail Flatbread Co. was a divine one. This establishment is clean, staffed with courteous and capable individuals, and fully prepared to present you with an outstanding meal. The only drawback? They have yet to open a location in Pittsburgh. ;) read more

Came here for brunch on a Sunday. Was able to get a reservation morning of. We were seated outdoors and they have multiple heating lamps which was perfect for the slightly chilly October afternoon. They have a nice list of draft beers as well as interesting cocktails. I ended up getting a prickly pear slush cocktail which was good and pretty. I got the brunch burger which is extremely filling and delicious. There's an egg, avocado, cheese and bacon on top of the patty. I chose fries instead of greens and everything was pretty good. I'm visiting my daughter and son-in- law in Hudson MA and we had an opportunity to visit Rail and Trail in downtown Hudson. First, Hudson is a quaint picturesque little town straight out of the latest Hallmark movie. It is typical of the small town flair that you would find on the east coast and down south. Rail and Trail did not disappoint. This small town restaurant has a big city attitude and the food to match. From the homemade flatbread pizzas to its signature burgers, everything on the menu was OUTSTANDING. I'm so happy that my kids made the decision to move to Hudson.
