This restaurant was just okay. I've been there so many times that I can't even remember the first visit because I was so young at the time. Now, as an experienced diner, I feel compelled to share my thoughts on the place. The food is decent, but be prepared to spend a lot--$75 for three meals. I noticed the people at the table next to me had a similar issue with their bill. They were charged $225 for their meal, which was quite a surprise. The family of five looked devastated, and it was clear there had been a mistake with their order. The waitstaff seemed inattentive and didn't pay proper attention to whose orders were whose. In the most devastating part was the accidentally paid for another meal how could the waitresses forget whose orders who's and put the money in other people's orders luckily I didn't have his problem. If you decide to visit this restaurant, make sure you have a budget in mind, or you might find yourself spending more than you expected. read more

I am very disappointed about this experience I had a Spanish server I am not sure what her name was. The chips that came with my appetizer were completely stale, she was very rude towards me and my friend we waited 30 minutes for just for some freaking napkins and that wasn't pleasant at all we also waited longer for our food we were barley checked on to see if we needed anything we then had to wait longer because of that just for a too go box for my friend we didn't even get a box we left without our leftovers. From my understanding a restaurants customer service is supposed to be kind and welcoming I did not find this visit anywhere close to that. I would like to know where a supervisor or manager was during there was one person wearing a red shirt that looked like a manager and if he was he didn't even greet us or ask how our service was please do something to resolve this issue. read more

Mariah sucks, she was rude and deserved no tip at all. She was yelling and complaining to everyone around her when she could have completely kept it to herself. Went here a couple days ago with a friend. Our server's name was Dominique and her service was great! We had mozzarella sticks as an app (they were great, how can you mess up mozz sticks?). I had the chicken fajita roll up which is amazing and one of my favorites at Applebees. My friend had the three cheese penne w/o chicken and she loved it. I ordered a watermelon margarita on special and it was good, very sweet. I like this location a lot and will be back when I'm in the area! read more

Went in tonight and the air conditioner was broken, staff complaining about the heat and I can't say I blame them, they should have just closed the place and told them to go home. The tables were sticky because they put something on them and everything and I mean everything was sticking to these tables including my cell phone. The food also tasted like I bought it from the freezer section and put it in my air fryer which I should have done because I would have had at least AC. Not the staffs fault it's the managements fault. Overall crappy and won't be returning. Rather go to the Applebees in Leominster it's much cleaner and better quality food read more

Ordered car-side pickup 'Shark Bowl' cocktail to go. They delivered on time. I drank this ethereal wonder, as blue as the ocean tides. Excited to reach the treat at the bottom, I was dumbstruck that there was no gelatinous gummy shark in the drink as promised. Blame it on supply shortages/staff oversight/Poseidon, but this merman went home with his ripped abs and half drank cocktail--curled up next to his dinglehopper, in tears. Shame on you Applebees. Me and my boyfriend (he has long hair) go in often and someone (not our server) dropped off our food from behind my boyfriend and proceeded to say "enjoy, ladies!" it was so funny because they definitely thought he was a girl from behind. Anyways, we love Applebees for late night food. I really miss the oriental chicken wrap, we used to get it every week. Now we just get the oriental salad, which we definitely recommend, as well as the beef nachos, pretzel sticks, and any dessert (we've tried them all) The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because every delivery/pickup order I've had has had an issue. missing dressing, chicken instead of steak, 1 breadstick instead of two, etc. and also every time I've done curbside pickup, I have not had curbside. I understand they can get busy, and I'm fine waiting in my car for a bit, but I've waited up to 40 minutes, of course I let them know I arrived, but I even called after the 15 minute mark and they assured me my food was ready and someone was bringing it out, and it never happened. I had to go in and get it, then reheat everything at home. Sometimes restaurants get busy, and you won't have a great experience! So next time I tried curbside I was hopeful, but the same thing. Had to go in and grab it myself. So I'm done with curbside, and takeout from there in general. But we will definitely be back to dine in! Went 2 weeks ago to this Hudson spot for the first time in many years. Just always had other places we went. Was in the mood for the riblet platter so we took our neighbors young daughter with us. Got sat right away, took 10mins or more before we had to ask a server if someone could come to our table. 5 mins later the waiter showed up. Zero personality, took our orders and walked away. Left the menus on the table. Took longer than it should have for the food to be brought to us and again he left the menus. By this time they were placed on my booth seat. Food was fine, loved the platter. Waiter brought the check, didn't ask for it yet, the little girl wanted a shake. Got that sorted and we were off. Figured it would be another ten years before we came back. Well, this week we of course had to take her younger brother out because he was sick last week. Had to go back to Applebees. Can't bring him someplace else. Same for both. She came again too. Another crap experience with a different waiter! This guy came to the table quickly enough and took our orders. Riblet platter for me mac and cheese for the boy. Girls got their orders within 5 minutes, waiter said ours will be out soon as they were waiting for more fries. Waiter disappointed. 15 minutes goes by, little girl is done eating and my wife couldn't eat any slower, told her to not wait for us. We'd be leaving if she finished and our food wasn't out yet. Had another server find our waiter. He comes and asks how our meal was! I tell him we're still waiting for our dinners and if it's not out in the next couple minutes we're gone. It came out a couple minutes later. Riblets were good this time too!! Again, waiter brings the check, never attempts to clear the table of finished plates, ask him for 2 shakes. Ten minutes later they come. He gives us a new check and is gone. Table full of empty plates. Wait...wait...wait some more. No waiter. Walk up front to try and pay, girl says we can't pay and have to pay our server. I tell her he sucks worse than the guy last week and please send him over. He eventually comes back and I pay. For the first time in my life I payed a crappy tip. I'll never go back. What sucks is the food was good, just the service is horrible. Table behind us needed to get their server back because she accidentally charged them for a couple items they didn't order. Oh yeah, last week's guy never cleared our table either. What's with these Applebees servers just leaving all plates on your table when you're obviously done eating. If there are typos that's because I didn't check my auto correct and on a roll about this place. This does not mean the chain is of poor service. I've eaten at a few Applebees over the last few years while on business and never had a complaint. They all had good riblets too! read more

After having a successful dinner at the Leominster Applebee's last week, and still having a pile of go's, decided to try the Hudson Applebee's for a late lunch. The food was disgusting and the service was atrocious. Ordered the same food as last week. The Thai shrimp salad- the salad was soggy, the shrimp was too hot and the bowl was freezing cold. There were way too many wonton chips on top. The Mac and cheese was a soupy mess. Way too liquidy. And the bacon was like cardboard. Even though we asked for the chicken on the side, it came on top and some sweet chicken sauce got dumped on top as well, meaning the Mac was floating in s sweet cheese sauce. HORRRRIBLEEE. We were waiting 2 hours for our food, and we just ended up getting up and leaving a 20 dollar bill on the table without eating. It took 45 mins to even get our drinks, and an hour later we got our appetizers and one of our 4 meals at the same time. We didn't even have napkins or spoons at the table when we got there. When my first born child got her mac n cheese, it looked as if it was sitting out for an hour, and possibly like they took it from another table and it was half eaten. I like Applebee's. I've eaten at the One on Route 38 in Lowell and another one in Middletown, RI. I ate at this one recently in Hudson, MA because it was convenient. First the positives. We were seated immediately and greeted as we were seated by the restaurant manager. Our server was a pleasant young woman. Okay, that's it. The booths are separated by cheap wallboard, bent over. It can be found at Home Depot. The manager could have changed his shirt. It was spotted with food stains. My drink, filled to the brim, came with no straw. I had to ask for it. When I asked for a napkin, it came give minutes later. My mac and cheese with chicken tenders was a mixed bag. The pasta was luke warm, the chicken delicious. But the worst thing was a huge family being seated diagonally in back of me with their masks off. Very uncomfortable. In better times, this is probably a fun place to eat and drink and I'll return here then. But for now, I won't return. read more

So disappointed, ordered to go thinking it would easy and it was not. Called to let them know I had arrived and they told me they were packing my food and would be right out. Ten minutes later I called and she finally brought it out. I ordered chicken tender meal, buffalo tender appetizer, side of fries. The meal had more chicken and more fries then the separate order. Very upsetting when you pay extra for the sides instead of a meal and receive less than the meal. It was supposed to be a basket of fries and came in a box less than half full. Our experience here would be described perfectly in a single word, a MOVIE! Host Mike was an awesome guy and great to talk to! Our server (a black gentleman forgot to get his name) was extremely polite and wonderful to have as our server with great hospitality. The service alone made the experience great but I gotta hand it to Mike for making the experience amazing, we even gave him a tip as well separate from the server (who we also tipped quite nicely!) I ordered a crispy chicken salad for delivery. It was just as good as I have remembered. The chicken was nice and crispy and the salad greens were fresh. I also tried the honey glazed shrimp bowl it was delicious. My only complaint was that it had too much sauce. It's served over cilantro rice with almonds and it was just divine. This is a solid 3 star chain restaurant. I wasn't expecting more than that. The service was good and very timely. Our server was friendly but became disengaged after we were there for more than hour (we were there to catch up and relax after a long work day - they weren't busy at all so it is not like she needed to turn our table!) We started with the standard mixed appetizers - no high hopes but food was good for what it was - frozen mozzarella sticks, spinach and artichoke dip, buffalo tenders and chicken quesadillas. I got the Mexican chicken and shrimp plate - huge portion and beyond good and flavorful. The amount of shrimp was more than I expected. This is a great CASUAL no frills place. The service was incredibly slow and the food came out so slowly and not even at the same time (we waited long time for all to be served). I *understand* it's a holiday weekend and all that, but we paid full price for an experience that was worth 1/3 of what the bill asked for. Also not to mention, the place is filthy. Again, I couldn't not say anything. I hope the GM or the owner reads this. When we got our actual meal my boyfriend got steak and shrimp BOTH were cold and did not have any flavor he also ordered a side of Mac and cheese and the only thing that had flavor was the bacon. As far as my meal the mac and cheese I ordered with the honey chicken on top. the noodles had no flavoring and was cold. the only thing that was good was the drinks and the appetizer. when complaining the managed was unprofessional and gave us a crumpled up certificate like it was taken out of the garbage. read more
