Thai milk tea and green Thai milk tea

First time we tried it, the boba was cooked perfect and drinks were great! However, 2nd visit on a weekend and the boba was over cooked. As a boba lover, boba consistency is key so hopefully a third time is the charm. They offer appetizers and tons of drink flavors. There are also hard to find snacks here. They also carry cute trinkets and stuff for kids to teenagers from the shop or machines. They have a large gum ball machine that my kids love and while they don't often crave boba, there is always something else they can grab which is convenient for me to hit that one stop shop!

Omg the amount of Milk tea and jelly in these large sizes !!! The ice was a good amount too! The fruit tea has real cube fruits in it. The grass jelly in the milk tea was huge blobs and I'm here for it! A lot of bang for the buck I promise you. For $7 , it's a huge bucket ! The boba was chewy, and as an Asian, I love it so much! The servers were so nice too. There were lots of claw machines while waiting for your order

Happy that I finally made it to Ragin Boba! I love the Ragin franchise from their seafood boils to their hot pot, I knew the boba shop wasn't going to disappoint. Tucked away in a small but averagely busy shopping center off Gonzalez and Oxnard Blvd this spot wasn't hard to spot and parking was available in the front but I came after the typical lunch rush. The boba shop is cute and had much more going on inside than I would have imagined. They have plush toys and little goodies like candies and toys. Would never have guessed there was a little store inside a boba cafe. This spot also has food, such a big menu. The food offered here were primarily fried little bites like fried seafood and chicken. Nice if you're wanting a light but fried snack. The boba menu was pretty large with plenty of milk teas, fruit teas, and drinks to choose from. I'm a huge oolong lover and was happy to see an oolong milk tea with boba on the menu. I went for that. A regular size boba will run you close to $6 after tax and small tip. Not bad! The cup was super cute and the boba was plentiful. My drink was refreshing and tasty. Not too sweet and a subtle oolong flavor, definitely a mild milk tea. I'll have to come back for the lychee jelly drink and the butterfly tea lemonade. Service was friendly and hospitable. The young man working behind the counter was nice and quick to make my drink. He had me in and out which is great if you're stopping by mid travel or on a quick lunch break. He also didn't make me feel rushed and there were a good amount of table inside if you wanted to sip your tea and work. Will be back for sure.

3.5 ish I wanted to love this place as close to my house. My Thai tea was pretty weak compared to other boba places. The bobas were so hard ... just kept getting stuck in my straw. I'd come back to try another drink but not Thai tea again as not made to my liking. Locally owned. Every employee was great . Place was poppin with people just chilling . Great place to meet up. Clean and such a cute place. I just wish my Thai tea would've been stronger. Also, my bad for not letting them know but I did a pick up. Had a date to get to .. wink wink ;) There were plenty of people there so I'm sure it's become others favorite spot , so happy they're doing well! Check them out!

Ragin Size Taro Milk tea with Boba $7-8

Tried the taro milk tea. Average milk tea not too sweet. Love the huge ragin size only available for over ice drinks. $7-8. They have a little kawaii gift shop and asian snacks + a few variety of ramen bowls to browse around while you wait for your order. Lots of seating to drink boba and play board games. Pretty clean in there. Would definitely come back and try other flavors.

As I drove by this store on a balmy Sunday, I realized that there was just a poster being placed on the side of the store. Googling, I could not find the store. As I pulled a U-turn, I realized it was some sort of grand opening. As I walked into the store, I saw that there were plushies in the back as well as vending crane machines and ornate flowery decorations atop black wooden tables with outlets at each plug. The ambiance of the store gave a cozy vibe commonly found in Orange County but devoid in Ventura County. Alas, I said to myself, a cozy milk tea shop where one can study. I ordered a lavender milk tea where it was 5 bucks, in line with orange county milk tea prices. As I talked to the shop employees, I found out that this shop barely opened for the first time just a few hours ago! Being a new shop, it took quite a while to get my milk tea as they probably had to make sure their equipment was up and running. The Lavender milk tea was great but on the sweet side if you like sweet things. Perhaps too sweet. You could probably tell them to adjust the sweetness to 80% and it would be amazing! Overall, it is a milk tea shop with lots of offerings for a reasonable price. In spite of opening, there was no deals to be had, which I was disappointed in.

    Not even a full drink??

Friendly staff, a plethora of Asian goodies from Asian Lay's flavors to various snacks and even a small area of claw machines. There's a lot of extras in this shop compared to others, yet it doesn't feel overly cluttered or messy. There are plenty of desks perfect for students to study and do homework, aided by a decent selection of board games. But let's get to the meat, or in this case, the boba drink. Being that it's my first time here, I had to get their house milk tea. I got it with 75% sugar, which was perfect for my taste. I was disappointed the second of my drink: it wasn't topped off. Although I ordered less ice, the drink was missing a good half inch from the top, which was something I wasn't used to seeing. Feeling a little ripped off, I proceeded to try it with an open mind, yet nothing really surprised me. It's just a "boba" drink, and honestly, the house milk tea had a flavor reminiscent of a super cheap milk tea shop in Asia. There was little tea taste and felt like I was drinking the instant coffee of a milk tea. The boba pearls had a decent consistency, but overall lacked flavor. They had a good chew and bounce, and the overall quantity paired well with the drink. I might come back to try their other drinks, but this place doesn't really stand out in the growing boba market in the Ventura/Oxnard area. They need to work on their consistency, because a boba drink that isn't full doesn't feel good to buy.

I'm not a big boba fan, but one thing that draws me to RB is their sugar cane drink! After our Vietnam trip, I've been looking for a place that makes sugar cane, and Ragin' Boba is the only drink place in Ventura County that sells it. The Ragin' family continues to grow and they have done a great job with the interior and the decor. I really like their new mascot for RB too! Aside from the drinks, you have a lot of options for snacks and appetizers. Most are similar to the sides they sell over at Ragin' Crawfish and Ragin' Pot. Also, I like their seating area where you can hang out and charge your devices. There's also an anime section in the back if you're into Pokemon, Dragonball, and all other types of anime. Overall, great new boba spot especially with their one-of-a-kind Cane Sugar drink!

Boba, crystal boba, grass jelly and coffee jelly

Because I'm Boba addict so I had to try this new boba place! lol I ordered Ragin Milk tea. It's Classic milk tea with boba, crystal boba, gress jelly and coffee jelly. You can add those boba and jelly to the classic milk tea but Ragin Milk tea is cheaper. My first impression was "The texture of jelly is interesting and good". Boba is chewy and jelly is crispy ( I'm not sure crispy is right word...) The combination is interesting. Personally I felt the milk tea tastes very sweet for me ( I like less sweet). Staffs are very friendly. They have some other teas, snacks and more. Also they are selling Asian products. Maybe good for kids. Topper's pizza is close so you can stop by for boba tea after pizza lunch! Parking is in front of the store.

Coming from a predominantly asian area of LA where boba is on every block, if you're ever in Oxnard or Ventura or even Camarillo, this is a must try spot. The value you get here outbeats any boba place in LA. For the Ragin size, they're huge! For Less than $7 you get so much boba compared to LA you'll get a medium size for that price! The drink is so large it doesn't fit in any ordinary cup holder, luckily my cars cup holders can fold away and expand to fit larger sizes. The drink itself is one of the best I've had. I would highly recommend the brown sugar boba. It is not overly sweet and has the perfect blend of brown sugar to milk tea ratio. The boba is nice and chewy, I would recommend upgrading to crystal boba. The place itself is pretty cool as well, they have a bunch of claw machines for you to play around with while you wait.

Friendly staff. Brown sugar milk tea was just the right amount of sweetness, pricey compare to other local boba spots.

Amazing boba! Super cute spot with really friendly people. They have claw machines that cost $1 each and lots of cute items to look at and buy if you like. The sesame balls are super good too!!

It's very nice and clean. You can actually get things from the crane machines. And it doesn't take that long to get your smoothie or tea.

So sit back, grab a snack, & let's Turn Back TIME. 12 11 1 10 I\ 2 9 I \ 3 8 \ 4 7 5 6 Bonus Points: who can tell what time my custom clock reads?? And If you get it right, Jack Dawson from Titanic and his famous line "Make It Count" will allow us to go back in time and Rose will actually move over and share the floating door with him so he lives! (Don't let Jack Die, again!) O.k. Who remembers calling 853-1212?? If you did, you might be old, but know that... I think you are a CERTIFIED BAD ASS!!!! If you are googling 853-1212 right now, sorry kid, but you missed out on the good ol' days. IYKYK To my fellow 80's kids.... Who remembers the response we would give if someone asked you, "what time is it?" Remember?? C'mon, think about it! The response: "It's time you get a watch". Haha, We got 'em every time, lol In the 90's, if someone asked "what time is it?" The person with the time would most likely look down at their wrist and see what their Casio G-Shock displayed and of course give you the time. Since the iPhone/Android arrived on scene, if anyone asked you the time, good chance they will look down at their phone, not their watch (if they actually have one) and will happily provide you with the time. Nowadays, the Apple Watch, The Samsung Galaxy or even that beat up FitBit are our official time keepers. But when you are at the Camarillo Outlets and you happen to walk by a Boba shop with your seven & five year old... No matter what the actual time is.... Now that they see it and look at you with those sad little puppy eyes saying "Daddy can we go, Please!!!" Suddenly.... It's Boba Time!!!! I mean come on! A fruit smoothie or tea with Tapioca Boba or popping Boba or even your favorite Jelly add on. And then there's the big Boba Straw that's perfect for slurping those Boba Balls as fast as you can into your mouth... Yeah, you know exactly what I'm talkin' about. For me, I'm all about the Tapioca Boba, but the Popping Strawberry & Mango are a very close second. Thai Iced Tea is our go-to, but this last time we also picked up the multi-colored Galaxy drink and it was excellent. Ordering is easy, they have a self-serve kiosk or you can pay at counter if you want to pay with cash. So.... The next time somebody asks you what time it is... Don't tell them it's time to get a watch! Haha Forget what your own watch says. And don't even bother tapping your iPhone screen so the homepage lights up. Just look straight in the eyes and tell them.... IT'S BOBA TIME!!!!!!
