I texted on May 23rd saying I had not heard from the technician. I never did hear from the technician, and no one came on the 25th. No follow-up from the company. On June 3rd I texted them again saying I had not heard from them, but we still wanted to do it. Rescheduled for Monday June 9th. On the preceding Friday they asked if we could move it to Tuesday the 10th. I said fine. On Tuesday morning they told me it would not work for them that day, and that they would knock $100 off the price in consideration of the repeated inconvenience and come on Wednesday, today, the 11th. Today, no show and no call. It is now 27 days after my original contact and this work has still not been done. I'm going to have to find someone else.

Then, they removed 80% of the house's drywall, it's about a 3200 square-foot house-in one weekend. That's right, two days. Not even two full days-they were finished by Sunday early afternoon. That wasn't even the most amazing thing-they mopped and vacuumed. By the time we came in, the place was spotless. Cleaner than before they came in. The owner Miguel takes a lot of pride in his work. You can see it in his face when he shows you around afterwards-he is good, and is proud of that! Even our general contractor was floored by Miguel's company's performance. The final thing I will add-we had quotes from three different companies, and Miguel's was the lowest. By FAR the lowest- 1/3 of the highest bid. Even though his bid was the lowest-he promised the most work, even hand polishing the concrete. Promised-and then he delivered. We have two more rooms that need the drywall removed-but those will be later in the renovation. We will only call Miguel for those- no need to seek anybody else. If you are still reading this-trust me. Give him a try, you won't be disappointed.

They seemed disorganized, unprofessional...and I when I finally saw the estimate they submitted to our insurer, I was shocked. It was almost double the cap the insurance company would pay. So I've received several other bids and all came in below the cap (MUCH lower). Worse yet, when I mentioned that to the Liberty project manager, he offered to lower the bid down to the cap amount. This set off red flags, obviously, as it seems lacking in integrity. Perhaps it is common in the insurance-driven space these days, unfortunately. Meanwhile, when I reiterated that I wanted more bids, I was pressured to start the work right away, or date would have to move out. I decide to move on, even though it means delays. The 10-day emergency waiver I had approved was never submitted to the state, I also found. I strongly suggest you look at other abatement companies.

never going with the cheapest quote again. they rescheduled 3 times before a technician finally…read moreshowed up. i was given the expectation this job would be 4-5 hours. the first technician that showed up was on and off video calls with his family for an hour at a time, speaking Spanish very loudly. when he began working, he drilled a 4" hole through the concrete next to a drain and hit a drain line. then he drilled another 4" hole through the concrete slab. he also cut out a large section of floor joist that was completely unnecessary. then he went out to his car for an hour and then brought in all the material and then used Google Translate to tell me he was done for the day, and he would be back another day, but didn't say when. it was already 5pm. I called Ryan and let him know this was unacceptable and I would just have someone else do the job. Ryan persuaded me to give him another chance and gave me his word that he would repair the damages his technician caused. he wouldn't discount anything from the quote. the following morning a different technician arrived and had no idea what he was stepping into. as he was finishing the install, Ryan showed up and began yelling at him about the damages the other guy caused. I'm surprised that guy didn't get violent with Ryan. Ryan didn't even repair the drain pipe or fix the concrete or acknowledge the cut in the floor joist. a crew showed up the next day and repaired the drain pipe. and then another crew showed up the following week to repair the concrete. the floor joist has still not been repaired and Ryan has blocked my number, I had to call him from a different number, and he hung up on me. This is the most unprofessional hack job of a company I've ever witnessed. I should have gone with any other company.
