It's been over a month since the installation and the radon levels are above recommended levels (4/20/23 4.4, 4/21/23 5.2, 4/22/23 4.2, 4/28/23 6.4). I didn't monitor it every day but today it's at 4.3. When I contacted John the owner on 4/19/23, he suggested two options. 1. Install a larger fan for $150 which he said may or may not work and 2. Call some company to come out to run a scope to see if there is a blockage. He couldn't suggest a company because he didn't know any. The one option he didn't offer which I suggested, was to have one of his technicians come out to take a look at it. Needless to say I am not a happy customer. I paid $1,300 for something that doesn't work with no recourse. I will be contacting the BBB though.

Then, they removed 80% of the house's drywall, it's about a 3200 square-foot house-in one weekend. That's right, two days. Not even two full days-they were finished by Sunday early afternoon. That wasn't even the most amazing thing-they mopped and vacuumed. By the time we came in, the place was spotless. Cleaner than before they came in. The owner Miguel takes a lot of pride in his work. You can see it in his face when he shows you around afterwards-he is good, and is proud of that! Even our general contractor was floored by Miguel's company's performance. The final thing I will add-we had quotes from three different companies, and Miguel's was the lowest. By FAR the lowest- 1/3 of the highest bid. Even though his bid was the lowest-he promised the most work, even hand polishing the concrete. Promised-and then he delivered. We have two more rooms that need the drywall removed-but those will be later in the renovation. We will only call Miguel for those- no need to seek anybody else. If you are still reading this-trust me. Give him a try, you won't be disappointed.
