Amazing view of the lake on the 8th floor (pleasantly surprised as I didn't even request it). Cool to watch the planes landing at the small airport across the way. Only downfall is that you can hear the boat traffic and police substation at all hours - heads up in case you're a light sleeper. Room is big enough for me and my husband for a couple nights. Friendly, helpful staff. Awesome location - close to restaurants and a short walk from CN Tower, Hockey Hall of Fame, etc. Highly recommend!

Dirty and Noisy hotel. Not worth the money. I checked in late from my long drive and the noise in the room was so bad I felt like I was next to an airplane engine. Couldn't fall asleep until 3 am. When I checked out I informed the staff who told me they would put in a "maintenance request" & they would give me free parking lol. What a joke. I had to literally sleep in my vehicle in the parking lot even though I travelled from out of the area to attend an event nearby. Shower was not cleaned properly as shown in photos. Hairs etc found in the shower. I needed to clean it down. If I wasn't so exhausted I would've left but my family crashed. Definitely won't stay there again. Disappointing & horrible experience.

    A phone--that doesn't work.

I wanted to love this place. I really did. But it fell short on nearly every controllable front. To break this down... The Good: * The location is excellent. You're right on the water and pretty much in walking distance of anywhere. It's a nice part of town. * The front desk staff was pleasant during every interaction I had with them. The Bad: * I reached out to the email address listed on the Radisson website. I sent a note prior to my arrival with questions and a request and I received no response in advance or acknowledgement of that email at check-in. * Upon arrival at the hotel, I was placed in an accessible room, which I did not book into. From what I saw on the website as well, there were other rooms available so I'm not sure why I was placed there. The showers in those rooms while great for those who need them are not great for those who don't. * I requested a room change the next morning which I was given without issue, but what I wasn't expecting was to be placed into a worse room (I also have status with the Radisson too). The new room was the closest possible one to the noisy atrium area by the elevators. * Unrelated to the room, I was surprised there was no water available inside of the fitness center. The Ugly: * The bed in the new room was dirty, there was no coffee machine in the room, and the phone didn't work. * At checkout, the front desk personnel asked me how my stay was and I communicated the issues with them. While they apologized and stated if I called in after my next booking they would make sure I'd have a better room type, it didn't really address the issues. It also puts the onus back on me to re-communicate what happened and hope it works out in the future but moreover, I do not have plans to come back to Toronto. So it was a half baked solution. * Even worse, I sent an email to the GM (Nathalie Lalonde) with my concerns about the stay. I didn't ask for anything in return, but I certainly thought I would at least receive a response. I received nothing. There was a Radisson survey that came thru by email which I didn't fill out as I thought for sure I'd hear from the GM and sadly it's now expired. I wish I had given my feedback that way now in hindsight. This place fell short of pretty much any reasonable expectations and was by far the least impressive BLU property I've stayed at to date and I've been to a lot. Do yourself a favor and look for other options outside of this brand if you're planning a trip to Toronto.

Location is great as well as is the price. Don't expect anything above the basics however. Even the internet has a basic free but if you are thinking on watching Netflix or something, you will need the "premium package". As for the room. It is very nice but has no carpeting so bring something for your feet if you are there in the winter. Staff was very friendly but they were unable to help with Travelocity's mistake of promising us a king and we end up with 2 doubles. Sheets were nice and fluffy which is pretty much the most important thing about any hotel, getting a good nights sleep.

Splash patio pool and terrace is located on the 5th floor of the Radisson Admiral Hotel. We found this place on Groupon where one appetizer and two main courses for 2 people came to $25. This place was a very peaceful venue, as it was facing the Lake right at the Harbourfront, and was warming with all the Christmas lights. Crispy Calamari ~ $12 AMAZING. The best calamari I've ever had. It came with cocktail sauce. The squid was cooked just right; not too rubbery or too chewy. It was definitely made fresh and was lightly crispy. AAA Striploin Steak w/ Caramelized Onions, Goat Cheese, Multigrain Ciabatta Bread & Fries ~$16 It was exactly how it was for medium rare steak, and the bread was soft. Super delicious. You could choose between fries, sweet potato fries, and onion rings. VIP Pizza w/ Goat Cheese, Mozzarella, Sundried Tomato, Spinach, Grilled Chicken ~$16 Honestly, really superb. The thin crust pizza was fresh from the oven and the toppings were extremely in comparison to my last experience at Boston Pizza where they gave only 2 leaves of spinach. The pool on the terrace was closed since summer was over, but that would've been quite an experience, to swim, than eat. I'm definitely coming back for that.

Stayed here last night. Staff was super ftiendly and professional. Made me feel welcome. Gave me a room partially facing the harbour. The room was beautiful and extremely clean.

Kid-friendly hotel in a superb location on the Harbourfront! My wife, two sons (10 yrs. 8 yrs.), and I just returned from a delightful 3-night stay in Toronto at the Radisson during August. By the way, street construction and renovations were finished in July 2015. So why would I stay here again if I were on a family vacation trip? First, the location is convenient for people driving a car. Self-service garage parking ($21 per night) is in the same building as the hotel. You have convenient in-out access without worrying about valets. Second, the heated outdoor pool (5th floor through the Watermark restaurant) has a lovely view of the harbour and CN tower. Third, the modern rooms have a nautical theme and include a very strong WiFi connection. Fourth, you can walk to the CN Tower or Rogers Centre (we enjoyed a Blue Jays game on our second night in Toronto) as well as the ferry for the Toronto Islands (about a 3 block walk east). Fifth, there's a Starbucks in the lobby area, a Tim Horton's on the corner, and Shoeless Joe's sports bar/restaurant that includes a kid's menu. By the way, the "Lick-It Gelato" place which is located across the street (to the right of the Rabba grocery store) will give you a 20% discount if you show your Radisson room card. Sixth, the fitness centre (on the 3rd floor) includes updated equipment. Seventh, check-in was easy and prompt - the front desk staff were helpful in answering questions. If I were on a winter business trip, the Radisson would probably not be a first choice. But for family travel in summer, I'd recommend this place in a heartbeat even though breakfast is excluded from the basic room rate. It's a 15 minute walk to the nearest TTC subway stop at Union Station. Not a big deal if you're on vacation with family, but for business travelers, a location closer to the financial district might be preferable.

Fantastic! Convenient location, lovely and comfortable. We paid a little extra for a lakeview room, which I'd totally recommend--practically a whole wall was windows, with a great view of Lake Ontario, the harbor, the islands across the way, and a small (quiet) little airport, where it's fun to watch the tiny planes take off and land all the time. After looking at photos online, I was hoping there'd be a telescope in our room...SK rolled his eyes at this, sure that the telescope we saw online was just for advertising, not for real. But I see in the other review that telescopes are, indeed, an option! Maybe just in the fancy suites. We parked in the hotel garage--$21/day isn't too bad for this kind of thing, and the garage was underground and guarded--much less extortionate (and better parking) than you'd get at a comparable hotel in, say, Chicago. Bed and bedding were super comfy (we were supposed to have an adjustable Sleep Number bed, though, and I don't think we did...maybe that's just in the fancy suites, too). No Continental Breakfast; restaurant/lounge on the 5th floor where you can get pricey Eggs Benedict (we didn't eat there, but nice to know it's there). The shampoo smelled nice, but the in-room coffee was WEAK! Street car line runs right outside, just a couple blocks from the CN Tower, the Rogers Center, and the Entertainment District. Would definitely recommend it, and go back!

Had the best time here this weekend. Staff were amazing and very friendly! Great location - right on the harbour with beautiful views no matter which direction your room faces. Ours looked out at the CN Tower and it was incredible. Parking ramp right below the hotel - very convenient and was an unexpected albeit wonderful surprise! For the location, the price was great. Safe area for walking around, and the police station is right behind the hotel. Really recommend checking out the pool area. Gorgeous views. Always a few cabs out front which is nice if you want to head somewhere for dinner that is a little out of your walking range. Also within walking distance from countless attractions and public transit is right in front of the hotel. Would definitely stay here again in the future. Sidenote: great gelato place on the corner across the street called "Lick It Gelato." Open until midnight if you're craving a late night sweet treat.

Roger's Stadium (Blue Jays), CN Tower and convention center were all in walking distance. I actually arrived early but my status was recognized and my room was ready. Staff were very friendly and responsive throughout my stay. I was upgraded to a one bedroom which was welcomed. The room was large and comfortable. Better than the family's last stay in SoCal. The only room issue i had was the location of the in room safe. It was on the top shelf of the closet and the closet door blocked the safe door from opening fully. The other issue was 1 out of 3 elevators was offline the entire stay. It did make the waits a little longer. On the second floor was a very small gym but it did have a multifunction weight gym and cardio equipment. A water dispenser was located here. The heated indoor pool and spa was in the room next door. Breakfast was decent with a rotating menu over my stay. Scrambled eggs, omelettes, pork or turkey sausages, egg bites, seasoned potatoes, etc were some of the hot offerings. Cereals, breads and prepackaged yogurts were some of the cold items. They had both regular and oat milk which was nice. One note was that you have to provide your name and room before being admitted. There was a good amount of seating and was never crowded. In the evening the bar was open. Would come back and stay here again.

They especially enjoyed looking out the large window at the convention center, CN Tower and Lake Ontario. It was also nice having the extra (1.5) bathroom. The beds were very comfortable to sleep on and the housekeeping staff was almost invisible (a good thing). Since we got club level, it was convenient to grab food and snacks in the club lounge. Quite kid friendly, although with toddlers we were a bit self-conscious of our kids being too loud and messy. You can imagine my terror when my 18 month old threw a cup of milk on the lounge carpet. Luckily, the lounge staff is wonderful and welcoming and were very understanding of this mishap. The pool is very nice and heated. A little less picturesque than the St. Regis pool (which is located on a high floor) and smaller than the Shangri-La pool but still very nice. There are other amenities that are good for kids such as a free treasure hunt, complete with a prize at the end. Ritz Kids also has other paid activities that we did not do like baking classes, in-room camping, movie nights and family picnics. The hotel itself is conveniently located near the CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium, train museum and Rogers Centre. Most of these venues are within 10 minutes walking distance. I think it is also near the underground PATH, that connects many of Toronto's downtown buildings so you can avoid walking outside if so desired. Overall a great luxurious and family friendly hotel in downtown Toronto. Great for families visiting harborfront, CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium or Rogers Center. I had a room that had a cracked mirror and a cracked sink. My remote control was sticky for some reason... The most annoying part was that I couldn't adjust the thermostat. The bathroom lights were located on the outside of the bathroom which is stupid, there was only one hook in the bathroom for towels, no hand towels, a scale that did not work, and no vanity space. The room is only equipped with three drawers in an armoire and massive tv that only displayed about 40 in of actual screen. The bar, Mister C, located off the lobby is also chic but over priced bar. The bouncer was not the nicest to the hotel guests even though I was sitting outside drinking water, he was convinced I was have an alcoholic beverage and went off about how they would get fines. I don't care. I'm drinking water? The club can get pretty busy and there is also a busy club on the rooftop, so if you're trying to get to your room at night, you're waiting for the elevator for a long time. The service elevator is located next to all of the guest elevators and did not open for guests. So in this giant hotel, there are only 2 functional elevators for guests. when we came back to the hotel after being out all day (about 4 pm) on our first evening, the room was not cleaned yet. When I called the main desk to ask why our room has not been cleaned, he said they should be coming soon. I've never stayed at a hotel that cleaned so late in the day. There was a broken roomba in the hallway and I knew it was broken because there were crumbs that sat in the hallway for the duration of my entire visit, about 4 days. 65$ to park your car EVERY NIGHT and $35 resort fee to do so. They were the most busy I've ever seen but the restaurant on the roof has SO many staff members i couldn't imagine it's an issue and almost a daily thing here. Loved the Byredo toiletries, that felt on par with the price of the room, but the room itself was like any other budget hotel room EXCEPT the mini fridge was occupied by all the overpriced drinks one could buy, so there was no room to use it. This hotel doesn't even offer the things you might expect from a budget hotel option (like breakfast). It's also $65 to valet park your car each night. (((2nd noise update: 330am-7am more loud machines, they are now power washing the seats/floors throughout the stadium, plus noise from employees chatting while working)). The hotel should at least provide some transpency and warn guests about the field doing maintenance because I would have rather saved a thousand+ dollars by just going to the game itself and picking a different room knowing we'd be getting a get a good night's rest. Maybe the hotel could provide sleeping masks since they cannot install decent floor to ceiling blackout curtains. Or how about providing earplugs? Either way... started off at 3 stars. now at 1 star experience. So if you or your toddlers are light sleepers this room is not for you. Also this room includes 2 high stools which i used to prop up against the bed for my wiggling sleeping toddler to not fall off as neither beds are near a wall.

More unfortunately, was that the Weekend was having two nights of a concert in the stadium and I faced the stadium. They had a large black tarp up, either so you could not get a free concert or to try to block out the noise. Block out the nice it did not. The hotel has a resturant that had this delicious Snickers Martini that was probably 10358 calories but it was so good I have like eight. The breakfast buffet was not horrible but also not great in some regards. They did not have skim milk which is okay but the selections were a bit lacking, esp of healthier options IMO. But it was still quite good. i had a voucher from my company so I could not tell you the price. The hotel is nice enough, the doors at the entrance are a case study in human factors engineering since you veer to the right to go in then sharply veer to the left to get through the ante room to the lobby. There are 4 elevators and there is a huge column that requires you go look at the floor indicator bar where there is an arrow adjacent that says if you need to look on the other side of the pillar for your cab. The staff was nice and the room was clean. There is a starbucks in the lobby that can charge your room but cannot use the app. https://youtube.com/shorts/UuKuv8EbVrg

A very nice hotel in the heart of Toronto. I stayed for three nights and enjoyed my stay. The…read morelocation is awesome with just about everything you'd need close by. And by that I mean coffee shops (I suggest visiting French Made), restaurants, some shopping, things like that. The lobby itself is pretty with a giant koi pond with a fountain-like structure in the middle. There's also the bar and some tables and chairs. Near the elevators you'll find a mini store with snacks, drinks, and things you may have forgotten to pack. My room was a good size and to my surprise the bed was comfortable and I was able to sleep rather well. One pet peeve of mine at hotels is when the shower is impossible to turn on without getting wet, which was the case here. The lighting in the bathroom also wasn't the best. Thankfully I brought my own mirror so I was able to do my makeup in front of the window. Overall, better than the average, but not quite five stars.

Although beds were comfortable and we had a great sleep, we all agreed we were not fond that there was no head boards, which made it uncomfortable to sit up in bed. It was all hard empty space behind the mattress, which was too wide to pile up the pillows for sitting up. Bathroom was spacious. Rooms were very, very quiet, and we barely heard a peep in the hall or doors slamming. No loud steps or jumping from the rooms above us. Lobby was inviting, clean and fancy. There was a small table inside the lobby with crayons and paper for kids. Restaurant and washrooms below (you can take stairs or elevator down) Some food options close by (Starbucks attached to the building, Tahinis across the street, and Wendy's down the street). Bulk Barn and Shoppers Drug Mart just down the street for snacks/essentials.
