The room I received was comfortable and had all the essentials. Loved the floor to ceiling windows and the addition of a sofa to chill out, and a work desk. No mini bar at the time of writing this review in keeping with safety measures to limit points of contact, but having a mini fridge was useful anyway. Since I was not supposed to come into contact with others as a provision of the quarantine, they were sweet enough to deliver a breakfast package to the outside of my room every day. Yes, breakfast was included in the price of the room, hot and cold continental varieties. For those who drink, the bar is still open to deliver your drinks to the outside of your room too. Unfortunately, room service meals for lunch and dinner are not open during these covid times. But, there are lots of restaurants near by that would be glad to get your business, so use those delivery apps!

We rarely needed transportation because everything was so accessible. The hotel itself was spotless. Our room and the common areas were consistently clean and well maintained, making for a very comfortable stay. What really made the experience special was some of the staff. While a few of the front desk interactions felt a bit indifferent, Mark gave us a warm welcome when we checked in and was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Ethel from housekeeping did a wonderful job keeping our room immaculate and always greeted us with a smile. I'd also like to recognize the ladies in the Club Lounge, who were welcoming, attentive, and hospitable. I'd highly recommend this Marriott property to anyone visiting Toronto.

The rooms weren't anything particularly amazing, but they were clean, quiet, and comfortable.. what more can one ask!? The convention center is an easy walk from the hotel; as is the stadium and several other points of interest for touring. Dining options were a bit of a walk, but still not bad. There was a spot with several restaurants about 10 mins away. All in all, a solid Marriott.

Bus stop is literally around the corner, and the underground is a few blocks away (you could walk it or take the transit car/bus). The concierge was friendly and helpful. I love walking into a place that feels like home. Everything was clean, they had the little store for little things you could've forgotten or snacks, and the lobby had an array of seating from cozy to standard cafe tables. The room was great, and the gym had all the needed equipment for a good workout. The gym is small but there was rarely ever more than one person in it, so win. The only down side is the coffee was pretty terrible... they had all the great things like flavored creamer etc available but it still tasted a bit burnt/tarred. Hard to explain. Regardless, there are plenty of coffee shops around and a Tim Hortons in the corner . Definitely pinning the location if I'm ever in Toronto again.

One of the nicer rooms that we've been in in a long time. But a few things could have made the…read moreexperience better. First of all this hotel is on a shady street. Not like shady from a nice row of trees. Shady like while waiting at this one light signal about a mile away we saw: 1) a girl high on something very very slowly lose a battle with gravity and failing to get her drink that was in her hand to her mouth. Her arm was behind her after she flopped onto the sidewalk. We watched for about 2 minutes. She definitely will not remember that she put her gloves down on the sidewalk. Which led to 2) another female druggie witnessing this and debating whether or not to help her (or rob her? ) all while this lady's pants were well below her butt cheeks where we could see the type of panties she was wearing. 3) on the other side of the street was a man spraying pepper spray on another man while they were waiting at a bus shelter. The sprayed man barely reacted. This caused a second man to pepper spray him. The first man then threw his empty can of pepper spray at him. After this- our light turned green. Ok so finally arriving- the guy at the host was very nice. Explained the what streets to walk on and where to avoid. Parking was ok. But there's a small flight of stairs to drag your luggage up. Then another short 5 stairs or so to the host desk. So if mobility is an issue then you might have a problem here. Also found out that parking was about $75 usd for 2 days of parking. Breakfast was ok. Had the waffle station, dried breakfast cereal, hot oatmeal, banana, apples, mini muffins and donuts, bread, bagels, hard boiled eggs, and hot food warming trays. The first day had bacon, scrambled eggs, fried sweet potato wedges. Second day had sausage links, western omelette patties, and potato home fries. Typical juices, coffee, and tea. Only one choice of tea bags. My suite had a king sized bed and I think a king sized pull out. No additional bedding or pillows for the pull out. Garbage cans (2) are tiny. Toiletries are full sized attached to the walls. Our lotion bottle was out but I brought my own. Shower had nice hot water but the spray was very narrow. And it took a long time to rinse everywhere. The hotel contacts you through text so it was easy to get any issues resolved. A 24/7 rabba was about a block away as well a a small Timmies. All in all the room was pretty nice. I'd say 4.25/5. But the rest of the hotel situation was a little troubling. I wouldn't be against staying here again but I'd personally look around first.

The only thing that could've made our stay better was if they were able to upgrade my wife and I to a better room. Unfortunately, we showed up during the week of Candian Thanksgiving when they were busy. Despite the lack of upgrades, the front desk was nice to me. They still gave us a nice room with a king bed as we reserved. My wife and I had no complaints about the room. They also greeted me every time I passed by. This hotel has a M Club Lounge for Marriott Platinum and above memebers. Breakfast and evening appetizers are served daily. Harold, the manager, does a wonderful job running the club. The foods served in the M Club is very good, not "Bonvoyed" down. During the evenings, we noticed that they served quite a few Asian dishes. Harold took the time to speak to me and other guests. The gym is one of the best gyms in in America. It has both cardio and anaerobic equipment. The equipment is well maintained. It was almost like my home gym while traveling. This is a nice hotel for my wife and I. We like it and plan on coming back.

I was actually pissed when I woke up, initially, because I thought it was still before sunrise. Nope, just good curtains. As for the city view upgrade, well if looking into other peoples living room is considered a "city view" so be it :) Everything is within a walking distance. Valet parking only, would recommend you use one of those parking apps and find a cheaper parking option. I was able to find a parking space next building from the hotel for $40 for the 3 days I stayed here. Definitely will reconsider staying at this hotel again.
