Overall a good experience. Hotel is centrally located, with Queen St dining option just a short walk away. Room was comfortable and clean enough, with a king size bed and amenities as expected. A decent size fitness center, and a very warm pool that went inside / outside, but strangely no hot tub which was missing. Nice lobby with a bar and restaurant. Valet parking a little on the steep side at CAD70 per night. Would stay here again if the rate was decent. read more

We had a really great experience staying at this Hilton for the Taylor Swift concert. I absolutely loved the atmosphere. We arrived around 2pm and valet parked our car. There was a long line to check in but it went quickly. I was shocked we could get into our room early. Everything was so clean and the room was nice and big. It was a 1/2 mile walk to Rogers Centre so really great location if you are coming for an event. We did check out the pool and it was so cool! It was both indoor and outdoor. My daughter definitely wants to come back. There was a restaurant that we didn't have time to eat at but will definitely check out in the future. We called our car in the morning and it was very quick for it to arrive. Super fast trip to Toronto but we were very pleased with this Hilton! read more

Seeking to book a hotel in the heart of downtown Toronto, my husband and I knew that Hilton Toronto was the place for us. Where they nail it: ++ Location, location, location! Hilton Toronto made a great home base during our weekend in Toronto. It's walking distance from so many wonderful places, and if you want to go a little further, grab an Uber! ++ Literally every staff member that we interacted with was so helpful and friendly. You can tell that they all truly care about their guests comfort. ++ The renovations that are completed are so posh. Our room felt so clean and updated. I loved the touches throughout like the modern light fixtures, and the chaise lounge. We were both so comfortable. ++ The Executive Lounge was fabulous! As Hilton Honors members, we were granted special access to the executive lounge. The 360 views of downtown Toronto were epic. During breakfast and early dinner, they put out a selection of bites for guests to select from. There was an "honor bar" featuring a small selection of liquor, wine, and beer that you served yourself. On your way out, you left a record of what you partook and that was billed appropriately to your room, plus a small handling fee. ++ It may sound silly, but I love being able to have my room key on my phone through the Hilton app. It's just so nice to have one less thing to carry and keep track of. Where they could use a little love: -- Parts of the hotel are pretty dated. Namely, the pool area and Tundra Restaurant. During our stay, they were in the midst of renovations, so I'm not holding that against them. They did the best with what they had going on. I just hope that they plan to make some updates to these parts of the hotel as well. Hilton Toronto definitely checked all the boxes during our visit. If we make our way back to Toronto in the future, we will absolutely be staying here. **Pro Tip: We realized a little too late in our stay that this hotel is located above/near the PATH network. What is PATH you ask? Well, it is apparently a predominantly underground pedestrian walkway that is home to a variety of businesses and also connects to other parts of the city. So I booked a room here for one night to see the Boston Celtics play the Toronto Raptors. I was able to use Hilton points and get my room for free (recently renovated room). This was my third trip to Toronto and location was a significant variable and this Hilton checked the box. My youngest son and I arrived around 1:45 on a Friday and were quickly checked in. Everyone from front desk, valet, to bellhops were all extremely friendly. We were given a room that was recently renovated. Room was a nice size, clean, bed/pillows were extremely comfortable. We didn't use the pool but overall I thought the location was exceptional and would certainly stay here again. This is a great location with superior amenities. I stayed at this 1 King Bed bedroom hotel room during my recent Canada trip for 6 days (Monday-Saturday). The check in time is at 4pm, but I was able to leave my stuff with them hours before my check in time. The check out time is at 11am for everyone, so there was a lot of people when checking in and also checking out too. Later, I went back to the hotel around 4pm on a Monday to check in and there was a lot of other people checking in at that time since 4pm is the check in time. It was an easy process checking in to the hotel, using their elevators, and finding the room. Anyways, once I got inside the room, I noticed that it's an ok size room. It also has a small bathroom compared to other hotels I've stayed at and I wish the bathroom was a bit bigger. I did like how big the the TV was though and also liked how it came with a mini fridge and TWO areas to sit! One sitting area was a couch and the other was a rectangular ottoman in front of the TV where you can store stuff in. I also liked how clean the hotel room was. Other things about this hotel is that it has two pools and a gym too. They have an indoor pool and also a big outdoor pool. They also have an indoor gym which is across from the indoor room with the pool. I thought it's nice how there's more than one pool, but I did notice the indoor pool is smaller than the outdoor one. Ok enough about the positives about this hotel experience, there were also bad things I noticed too! The walls at this hotel are kind of thin. You can sometimes hear the people outside of your room because of how thin the walls are! I wish they would make the walls thicker or at least do something to prevent hearing noises from the hallway. I also didn't like how small the bathroom was since I'm used to hotels with bigger bathrooms. Overall, I'd still recommend staying at this hotel! The beds are comfortable, rooms are clean, comes with a couch, a big TV, and also has a mini fridge! For me, having a mini fridge in a hotel room is very important, so I appreciated that. I wasn't a fan of how small the bathroom was, but I was still ok with it when I stayed there. We did have to call them to get a new body wash bottle too, but they were very fast at responding to our request even though they thought we'd have to wait the next day since we called at night. They are quick at responding and we got it within minutes after calling. read more

The location is great. The room I was initially assigned was kind of smelly but they quickly fixed the issue by reassigning another room to me, which was excellent. I can normally say I really enjoy every Hilton property I stay at, but this hotel was the exception to the rule. WiFi did not work on either of my phones, and hardly worked (45-60 sec to load a webpage). I was there for a week for work, and the wifi issue alone was enough to deter me from coming back. My colleagues had the same experience. But otherwise it was nice, staff were super friendly! read more

We had such a Wonderful stay at the Hilton Toronto. Amazing downtown location with good service and really comfy beds! Chose this hotel due to location and the Executive lounge over the other Hilton hotels in the city and it was the perfect choice. We also had great city views. I was excited that the Hotel offers some complementary currency exchange. Really convenient and nice service. They offer exchange for USD, British Pound, Euro, and Swiss Franc. No fees, but I believe it is just slightly lower rate. Only negatives, and this prevented the 5 stars, is that checkin was at 3pm. We did arrive early at 2:30pm but had to wait until 3:45pm before our room was ready. The other was our housekeeping was not done the next day in the am and I used the app to message and stopped by on the way to the pool around 4:00pm. I did not appreciate the tone and attitude of the front desk worker I spoke with in person. She was short, rude, and did not care to listen to me. Just cut me right off and wasn't a big deal and I scurried along to the pool. Kudos for housekeeping for taking care of it in an hour. We stayed in room 2510 which with a deluxe room with a king bed. Some slight carpet stains and wear but loved the room and didn't notice or hear any neighboring room. The overall stay was great. Loved the hotel and the additional service we received. It is a big hotel and was an extremely busy weekend so all in all, no major complaints and happy we stayed here. Would absolutely stay here again and would recommend this hotel. The Hotel is in the middle of a remodel, which made for a small temporary lobby and a little bit of close quarters during check-in. Delivery of extra towels was fairly quick. We didn't have the room cleaned while we stayed there. The Concierge Lounge on the top floor of the hotel was open all day with coffee and beverages. We stayed here the weekend of 5/17/25 and we were extremely happy with both rooms! Rooms were next to each other as requested and had a great view of the Four Seasons center (opera house). We stayed for our anniversary. We are Hilton faithful and I expect a lot from executive lounges. The indoor/outdoor heated pool was a nice addition. I swam one night and my husband swam twice. They have renovations going on so the vibe was a bit clunky feeling. You can not beat the location, the executive lounge had an 'honor bar' setup which was fine. Tundra the restaurant was in a boardroom I think, I grabbed one of two drafts here. It was very busy with a conference and was not an outstanding experience, I would return but not until the renovations are done. read more

Stayed here for the Toronto International Film Festival and it was one of the only hotels left available for booking, and for this week, the prices were pretty ridiculous, like $400 a night, but it was better than the $800 a night other places, so I went with it. The room is essentially basic, for essentially what I needed it for, a crash pad for the few days I was there. It did the job though, the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, the wifi worked, all the outlets charged, hung up my clothes, tv was fine and all. The bar downstairs was great for a late night drink, and also the restaurant had a good breakfast buffet you could enjoy, with friendly service. Overall it stands as decent, but the rooms, if you're used to upscale hotels, can come off as grimey and old. But I felt safe, it was quiet, and did the job. read more

Beautiful hotel, very well-maintained. The rooms are fine, although diamond club usually merits larger rooms than we got in Toronto. The club on the 32nd floor has magnificent views of a magnificent city. They put on a nice spread for breakfast and evening snacks. The hotel is perfectly located for people who like to walk in this great city. The front desk staff range from highly efficient and pleasant, to lazy and lackluster. We were greeted by a very friendly staffer, who gave us a complement three waters, and explained everything very clearly to us, and we were also upon initial arrival, absolutely ignored by a staffer, who was busy doing something on her phone, while standing behind the counter, as if she was working there. Perhaps she was not supposed to be tending to guests, but she shouldn't have been standing at a window position, causing people in line to be frustrated with her failure to take care of any guests. The lobby and downstairs is absolutely gorgeous. The lobby bar is well stocked with efficient bartenders. The doorman and concierge were at the ready to help. We love this city, and will return to this Hilton on a rotating basis with a few other hotels, we enjoy. It is within walking distance of, the Mirvish theater and queen Street and many fun destinations. The parking garage is not associated with the hotel, and it has its own - issues - which go beyond the rating of the hotel. The Hilton has been renovated since my last stay, but it provides the same very bad service. It charges 5-star resort prices and delivers motel services. 1. There is no bottled water in the room. Drink from the tap 2. There was a mouse running around the new swanky Frenchy's dining area. 3. The elevator was broken for the entire 2 day stay and the service elevator had no air circulation. 4. The executive lounge had no access and instead of comp for Gold members, they offered $9 for a basic $30 breakfast! 5. The wait staff in the restaurant (dinner) was unresponsive. Had we not left when the mouse arrived, I would still have been waiting over 20 minutes for a cup of tea. 6. The water pressure in the shower was low and sometimes nonexistent. I sincerely regret not booking my room at the Sheraton that I could see accross the street. STAY AWAY! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. read more

I had a great experience at the Hilton Toronto. It's at a very central location, walking distance to everything. The staff is very kind. The scenic elevators are awesome. They have an umbrella service where you give a $20 deposit that will be returned upon return of the umbrella. Their executive lounge on the top floor was super nice with high-quality breakfast foods to enjoy with the amazing view of the city. The valet service is nice and the phone service is prompt/easy. The housekeeping was nice about giving extra towels. I really have no complaints! Was it my diamond status or are they just nice to every guest? I hope the latter is true. Very lovely hotel, modern and tastefully decorated, but still had old phones in the rooms--which looked a bit out of place--but I didn't use them anyway, so I guess it didn't really matter. For some reason, I couldn't get on WiFi in my room using my cellphone. I had no problem getting on the WiFi using my iPad, but I was unable to do so using my iPhone. Minus 1 star for that inconvenience. Nice Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries in the bathroom. The towels weren't as fluffy as the ones at the Sheraton though. I liked how half the bank of elevators have a scenic view that looks outside, so that was a nice touch. The table lamps had USB ports for charging, so that was convenient. But the electrical socket was placed so low on the base that my charger didn't fit the plug without dragging the lamp to the edge of the table to give it more room. read more

I stayed here for 1 night in the king bed room. I booked my room thru AMEX and originally asked for a higher floor room because I saw tips here on yelp to request for it but the receptionist advised it would be an additional $40. I advised reception I was a Hilton honors member and they gave me the free wifi + 2 bottles of water that the room did not originally come with. I also utilized the valet parking which was $30, the customer service was amazing. As for COVID protocols, there were lots of social distancing stickers on the floor and face masks were mandated in public areas. Pros: - Room is very spacious - Bathroom nice/clean and looked renovated (no tub & there was a hairdryer) - Had a mini fridge (this was not super cold, maybe more like a bar fridge) - Location was great, walking distance from a lot of places - Beds were comfortable - Safe for your valuables + Ironing board Cons: - Shower water pressure was not great - Lighting is not great - Door is not sound proofed /is super loud when closing - Room itself was a little dated My only complaint is about the door. They're slow closing but super loud when closing and you can hear everyone talking and closing their doors. I would not recommend for light sleepers, there were people talking super loud, playing music and doors closing super loud in the halls all throughout the night while I was sleeping. But the noises cannot be helped by the hotel. But besides the noise, my stay was a 4/5 based on location/room size/view/service/beds being comfy! read more

i needed a room earlier than usual due to a business meeting and there not being many quiet areas around the city. i appreciated that the concierge helping me was very accommodating and got me a room almost immediately. i appreciated the great customer service on their front! however it is worth mentioning that the bellboys were not as helpful. i had multiple bags with me plus a gigantic bouquet of flowers and no one offered to help; and when i asked if i could use the luggage cart, they still weren't moved to help and even told me that i "had to" bring it back down myself after. i noticed a couple of people mentioning this in their reviews already and i hope someone can take this as constructive criticism. otherwise the rooms were spacious and the tub was one of my favourites too. loved the crabtree & evelyn toiletries. i also enjoyed the view from the room! the clear windows on elevators were also a big plus! the walking distance from this hotel was also a big one for me. the location can't be beat. ps. please fix the ice machines. the associate i was texting didn't seem to like that i told them about it. and housekeeping always seems to forget to clean the phones lol they're very, very dusty. not a big deal since i can use my own phone but it's just nice to see a cleaner phone. read more

As a lifetime diamond VIP it saddens me to write this review having stayed here many times. This hotel is a total embarrassment to the Hilton Brand. The long lines at the elevator banks are an early indication that the stay will be a disaster. The entire lobby has been torn up and there is no one to talk to anywhere. The executive lounge is a total joke. The attitude of all the staff if you are lucky enough to find one to talk to is basically how would I know. The lounge has no water and no coffee cups and chairs that are so worn out you are almost sitting on the floor. The showers in the rooms have no water and the air conditioner is so old the noise is deafening. I actually almost pulled the refrigerator out from the wall to stop it vibrating the entire room. I remember in years back there were wonderful staff in the lounge that prided themselves on service and quality. Who ever owns this location has decimated the staff and tries to squeeze every penny out of guests. Long gone are even paper cups in the room let alone real glass in the room. And as a Diamond VIP I am treated special?? So sad how far this hotel has fallen. One of the worst Hiltons in the World! read more

I recently stayed at the hilton Toronto. I am a member with hilton honors club. i thought i'd try out another part of the city. It was not a good start as the entranceway to the hotel smelled like marijuana. You could tell the hotel was being renovated which did pose some problems getting around the hotel. That said the staff were very pleasant and accommodating . The room was large and had a number of amenities in it. I had a great sleep in their bed ( it was very comfy). Unfortunately staying in financial district in Toronto on a weekend meant that not a lot was open . One thing to note i found the Tundra restaurant to be very expensive for breakfast. I would have been better off just grabbing a cup of coffee and a bagel. The room was very clean and in fact the entire hotel was in very good condition given the changes that are going on. Stayed at this hotel for three days it was nice in the beginning intil the construction started. Drilling intil 9pm at night very loud and annoying and we were on the seventh floor. All they could say is we are sorry and they couldn't do anything about it. Who does construction till 9 at night defiantly not where I live. Very disappointing will never stay here again. Its hard to find a hotel that is perfect in almost everything it does, but this hotel comes as close as anyone one of them gets. Stayed here for a night with the family over labor day weekend. I had booked a standard double queen room for us and as a Gold HHonors Member, was hoping for potential upgrades and perhaps even access to the executive lounge, but we weren't holding out hope. At arrival, everything went smoothly and quickly. I tried as non-chalantaly as possible to bring up the upgrade potential and was quickly told we had been upgraded to the deluxe double queen rooms (Room #2618)! Sweeeeet! Then he asks if we'd like access to the executive lounge. Duhhh! Haha. :P Our room was higher than we were originally checked-in for as well. Spacious rooms, clean, nice bathroom, and incredible views. Our room came with a mini-fidge which came in handy, but as most hotel fridges, for some reason don't keep contents that cold. The executive lounge was the epitome of luxury (for me at least). Modern furniture, huge TV, copious amounts of seating, two full sides of floor-to-ceiling windows for those extra amazing views, and I believe a fire pit that is likely turned on during the winter months. We didn't realize the executive lounge offered much other than snacks in the evening, but they did have a pasta dish which was phenomenol. It was like a penne primavera, but something about the sauce or maybe the cheese made it addicting. They also had plentiful desserts, drinks, crackers, and cheese. You could purchase premium drinks (alcohol) at additional costs. Breakfast was great as well. They rotate their own hot dish each day apparently and this day featured a quiche. I'm not a fan, but they had a variety of bakery items to fulfill anyone's needs. Parking was expensive, but pretty much identical all around the area at $30 Canadian for self-parking versus $40 for valet. I was so close to staying in the perfect room in Canada! I was checking into the super sweet Hilton Toronto and the lady said "We'll put you on the 21st floor". I immediately started silently praying "2112, 2112, please God, let me stay in 2112". I'm not the world's biggest Rush fan, but I used to sneak into my sister's room and listen to her copy of "2112" on vinyl and I was hoping to recapture that thrill again. But much like when I prayed for the Mets to beat the Cardinals in 2006, my pleas went unanswered and I was sent to 2117. Close, but no cigar. Anyway, I am a big fan of this hotel. The location could not be better... One block from Osgoode subway stop. Walking distance to Rogers Centre, Entertainment District, Air Canada Centre and Hockey Hall of Fame. It was easy to get to the hotel via city bus and subway. It took me one hour and 10 minutes to get from hotel to airport via that method. The front desk staff was very friendly and efficient. Housekeeping staff were nice. The staff in the executive lounge was a little cold and not particularly helpful. I liked my room a lot. Very clean, comfortable and quiet and super dark when I closed the shades...I love it when your room is like a cave and you can sleep like a hibernating bear! Exec lounge was very nice. Spectacular views! Gym was nice and well equipped. Pool looked great, though I didn't use it. They were doing construction on the lobby restaurant so that was a bit messy but not too intrusive. It wasn't all sunshine and unicorns. The elevators were a bit slow. Also, someone spilled a lot of beer in the elevator lobby of the 21st floor and it didn't get cleaned up very quickly. The floor was sticky and smelled like a bar for 24 hours. Also, a bag of garbage was left on the bench by the elevator and it stayed there from one afternoon until the next. Well located property, but not quite up to snuff for the brand on comfort. One thing I've never understood about hotels is why they cheap out on pillows. I mean, really the worst pillows ever. The room was spacious and comfortable, and we got a HH upgrade, so that was nice. The concierge lounge was better than average quality for the states, still not great compared to just about anywhere in Europe. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the fitness center was also better than average. Just not the most comfy beds, and those pillows. read more

Absolutely wonderful place to stay in Toronto! We spent several nights here, beginning each day with their extravagant and delicious breakfast buffet. The hotel was an excellent starting point to explore the city. Nathan Phillips Square is a couple blocks away (take the time to visit it in the evening when everything is lit up). We even walked to the Art Gallery of Ontario in less than ten minutes. We used their valet service, and they were always prompt and polite. The staff were all very polite and friendly. Great to be back at this iconic Hotel. We had a great stay with touchless check in and out. The spacious room with a king and views of the CN Tower can not be beat. Only disappointment was that Gold members no longer have access to the Exec lounge. Pity. That had always been a great perk of this hotel. The outdoor pool with the warm water was another plus. Snow was forecast. Nevertheless we will be back. My thanks to the staff for excellent service. read more
