Honestly I liked the location of this hotel, unfortunately there is a massive construction project happening right across the street, as a matter of fact it seems that the whole city of Toronto is under a construction project. There are tons of shops and restaurants you can get to within walking distance. The staff are very friendly, the hotel itself is well kept and the room is very nice. Just like others that have reviewed this hotel, the room was stuffy when we got there and you can't control the temperature from the room, you have to call down for them to adjust it from downstairs. They said it was because they have an old HVAC system unfortunately. It's hard to say if we would stay here again. read more

I stayed at Le Germain while attending a conference in Toronto. This was my first time staying in downtown Toronto, and I knew I didn't want to have a car so I tried to find a hotel that was centrally located. Le Germain is really nicely located. 15-20 min walking distance from St. Lawrence Market or Kensington Market. Less than 10 mins to the subway. Less than 10 mins to the CN Tower. There are lots of convenience stores and restaurants easily within walking distance of the hotel. Unless you are really traveling to the outskirts of Toronto suburbs, you really don't need a car. The hotel itself is very nicely decorated. The staff is very helpful and patient. The rooms are nice, but you can tell they need just a little bit of upkeep. The price is pretty on point with the central location and the quality of the hotel. I did find a few things that I think could be improved. The hotel rooms are starting to show their age. I had a room that had a cracked mirror and a cracked sink. My remote control was sticky for some reason... The most annoying part was that I couldn't adjust the thermostat. There's a thermostat in the room, but no matter how I changed it, the temperature never seemed to change. I had to talk to the staff to ask them about adjusting the AC, and they made it sound like they had to adjust it. I don't think I've ever had a hotel room that needed someone else to adjust the AC temp, maybe my thermostat was just broken. All in all a pretty good stay. Beautiful hotel! I would give it more than 5 stars if that was possible. I stayed for two nights and had a wonderful experience. As soon as you arrive, your treated with VIP service. Check in was simple and the staff were friendly. The deposit is $100 per night so be aware of that. I received keys to my room and also a mini bar key that gives you access in your room. I was in room 603. It was a king deluxe room. As I walked in, they had jazz music playing on the complimentary bose system in your room. The room was beautiful. Lots of closet and drawer storage for longer stays. Decent view of the city. And amenities that will make your stay most comfortable. Everything in and around the mini bar was expensive of course but it was nice that it was stocked with most things you needed including Tylenol. The bathroom was spotless and bright and also came with robe and slippers and complete with Molton brown toiletries ! ( LOVE) The restaurant (Victor) at the hotel was lovely. I usually stay here every 6 weeks, but my last stay here felt a bit off. My reservation had a mix up so instead of the 2 night stay, the lady at the front desk said she couldnt book me for more than one night bc it was all full all week. Somehow i saw availability with concur the same night and booked it myself for another night without an issue. She also seemed a bit icy during my stay and seemed annoyed that I was ordering ubereats to my room. One evening, i went down to the lobby to retrieve my food and there were 3 of them huddled talking with my bag in their hands and they all just looked at me. Felt like they were talking about me. Im sure its a one off, but will most likely book a different hotel for my next stay. read more

My husband went to Toronto and texted me that he would text me when he arrived in Toronto. He should have arrived 8pm. By midnight I still never received any texts . That was very unusual for him. So I tried to phone or text him and got no response I was worried. I knew something was wrong, so I called the Le Germaine hotel we had booked. They refused to give any info stating privacy reasons and wouldn't acknowledege his presence nor connect me to his room. He was there for a conference, not a tryst. But perhaps they have something against wives. Or perhaps they have a reputation as a whorehouse. I eventually reached him by email. He actually had texted me when he arrived, but I never received it because his phone was still in airplane mode. I will never arrange for any stays at Le Germain ever again for his future conferences. read more

The hotel is right across the street from a huge reconstruction project so there is no view. Our room was over $600. The Wi-Fi didn't work. The main TV did not work and they don't even give you a complementary bottle of water. I had the opportunity for a staycation with a gal pal and recently stayed overnight at Le Germain on a Saturday. The street it's on is currently under construction so if you're arriving from the east, turning off John St, you'll have to follow some signs to loop around to the hotel. For parking, they only have a $50+tax valet service - I'd recommend skipping it and going around the corner to one of many cheaper indoor lots (there was a lot one block north, off Blue Jays Way/Peter St, on the east side, just north of King St W that came out to $26). Checking in was very easy, and they gave us a complimentary upgrade from a queen to two doubles, and when we found out that our room was going to be facing the elevator, they kindly moved us to a different room. We ended up on the 5th floor facing the road - the construction was loud during the day but quiet hours were respected (no noise until 9am on Sunday), and we didn't have any noise issues with the nightclub that another reviewer mentioned. The room itself was spacious but on the dark side as the wall along the beds was painted black (the opposing wall white). They had all your usual toiletries (they seemed luxe but I didn't recognize the company from England... M something?) and pump bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower. Plush robes and slippers were provided as well, and there was a Nespresso machine with some pods so that was nice. The bed was firm enough for my liking with a soft layer on top, and the blinds kept the room reasonably dark. Wifi was free (unsecured) and I didn't have any issues opening up my email etc. We had chosen Le Germain over another neighbouring hotel due to the breakfast buffet included with our room, and I'm really happy we went with it! Breakfast is held in the restaurant adjacent to the lobby - it starts pretty early (I think 6:30 or 7am) and runs until 11am where they will take away all the food, but you can linger in the restaurant. It was a 'cold' breakfast (no bacon or sausages or omelettes) but with a nice spread of fresh fruits, breads, croissants and pastries, oatmeal, granolas, baked beans, cereal, hard-boiled eggs, some cheeses and deli meats. If you need the washroom during breakfast, just go back to the lobby and up the stairs to the second floor, and it's to the left of the elevators. Behind the lobby there is a beautiful, high ceiling and airy lounging/waiting room, with a fireplace too and high bookshelves. Very cozy. The area is nice, lots of little shops and restaurants, and close to the Roy Thomson Hall so it was perfect for the show we were going to see. The city did have to do an emergency water shut down on the Sunday when we were to check out (also, they accommodated our request to check out an hour late at 1pm instead of noon without any issue); thankfully we were advised of this in the morning and we made the necessary arrangements to have water. The staff were willing to help however they could and fortunately they have a second hotel where they could accommodate guest's needs. Overall, as a non-business traveler, I would recommend this hotel. read more

Worth every penny. The rooms are well appointed and modern. The Molten Brown amenities were welcomed and every room has slippers. The room was quiet and faced Second City on a quiet street. There were cute shops and awesome food within walking distance. The TV was large and had a great assortment of US and Canadian stations (including TCM) and the Bose radio was playing jazz as I entered the room (awesome touch). I moved here from the Intercontinental. It's a better location and an even better hotel. My only complaint was the room service: while the iced tea was a perfect mix of chai tea and lemon, the watery and bland cauliflower soup, and the 7 small pieces of cheese for $18 were an absolute let down. All in all, this was one of the best hotels I've stayed in. read more

Oooh la Le Germain! I try to stick with Starwood and Kimpton Hotels during my frequent travels since I"m a sucker for the points system, but nothing quite compares to a boutique hotel like Le Germain. This quaint, fancy hotel is fit for a queen! I didn't get to spend much time in my hotel room, but the time I spent was certainly enjoyed. The bed was beyond comfortable, the bathroom was gorgeous (the aveda products made me happy too) and I loved the free wifi...especially since I was without cell service during my 3 days in Toronto. The location was perfect...I felt like I was able to walk to most of my destinations. I hear that this area can get quite noisy during the weekend, but it was pretty quiet during my Wed-Fri stay. I also had their spacious gym to myself on both occasions that I attempted a workout. I just used their elliptical machine, but thought it was super cool that they had a mini golf course attached to the gym as well. Golf isn't my forte, but if it was I'd appreciate being able to practice. Hotel Le Germain will be the first hotel I call for future trips to Toronto. It looks like they also have other locations throughout Canada. Hmmm..I may need to see if they have a point system to sign up for? read more

This place is gorgeous! I loved the big bathroom with the separate room for the toilet. Great when you're sharing a room. The huge, deep bathtub was so inviting. I managed to find time for at least a quick bath. My colleague told me the shower was amazing too. The bed was really comfortable. My only question is why hotels rarely have outlets beside the bed. Most of our use our phones for alarms and need to charge them. In the morning we were rushing off to the airport and it was a real treat to be able to make a latte in the comfortable lounge before we left. read more

Visiting Canada is always a treat when staying at a Le Germain Hotel! You could be won over just by the Frette linens or the Molton Brown toiletries, however Le Germain doesn't stop at just that! Service is exquisite, breakfast is deluxe, Wifi is functioning at a standard on par with my home. Home, how I wish this was my home. Hands down Le Germain do a fantastic job pairing chic contemporary vibes with a functioning space, and such luxury! At the 30 Mercer street location in Toronto (just learned there were two Le Germain's in Toronto!) they also have a restaurant attached called VICTOR which is receiving it's own review and was an appreciated accompaniment on the rainy days I have experienced here in Toronto! The continental breakfast here was great, usual boiled eggs, cheese, yogurts, toast/bagels/pastry plus some quiche and cereal options. Always a great selection to start the day! This location also has a roof terrace space and fitness room on the 11th floor with full weights plus an elliptical and two treadmills. The gym overlooks a mini putting green! Entering my room it was so soothing to hear the smooth jazz on the Bose system and so hard to depart when I needed to leave. Can't wait for my next Le Germain experience! read more

This hotel is pretty amazing. The styling is modern and chic and the rooms have a loft/industrial design that really is quite comfortable. The room was spacious and excellently laid out with all the conveniences that you would require. The lighting for the desk is somewhat ineffective to get some quality work done but I was busy getting distracted by everything else to truly gripe about it. The front desk and service was really top notch and the amenities were great. The complimentary breakfast was really good and the staff provided take away boxes for another guest when they said that they wouldn't be able to stay for breakfast since they were traveling to Montreal that day. So the staff really goes above and beyond and it is located in the heart of downtown Toronto. Its really a great place to stay and I highly recommend it. read more

Was thoroughly satisfied with my stay here! Came early to the hotel hoping for an early check in but wasn't able to since previous people were still in the room. Wasn't too surprised since it was only like 9 am, but the nice front desk staff offered to stash our bags in a locked storage and allowed us complimentary breakfast for that day, even though we weren't officially checked in yet. Bf and I were very happy with the breakfast as the decor made the place feel nicer than a basic hotel breakfast. I liked how the waitstaff brought your drinks to you: coffee, lattes, cappuccinos - pretty good variety offered. I thought the customer service was pretty accommodating. Our room cards didn't work at first so they sent someone up with us after to ensure that it was fixed. Also the room was just beautiful! Spacious, nice TV, king sized bed, clean bathroom, and they included slippers :) I'm not sure why this impressed me, but they even included a little tiny sewing kit in the bathroom. There is not much of a view from the room, as it's blocked by big buildings, but that didn't take away from the comfort of the hotel. We stayed for only one night so I can't say anything for the amenities. There is a nightclub right across from the entrance. Don't know about you, but we were in Toronto with one purpose: to play, so this was a gem for us :D Can't tell you anything about the noise level because 1. I sleep like a rock, and 2. I passed out as soon as I got back in the room that night. Would go back! read more

A girlfriend came to visit me in Guelph - and so we naturally headed to Toronto for the weekend ;) I let her pick our hotel - and am so glad I did! We were given a suite on the top floor....a very swanky one that included the previously mentioned, awesome, see-through full length window panel from the shower to the bed (both of our boyfriends were incredibly jealous when they heard about this...hehe). Kinky showers aside, this place has it all...amazingly plush robes, a view of the CN tower, very attentive concierge and absolutely phenomenal "continental" breakfast. It is in quotations because it is a far cry from the pre-mixed eggs and pasty bagels that come to mind when this breakfast style is mentioned. Hence - the rest of this review will discuss the breakfast.... - all the fresh cut strawberries you can eat - a hostess that greats you with cappuccino (made with soy milk if you wish!) - smoked salmon, with capers and lemon wedges - delicious cheeses - various fresh breads and croissants - spiced oatmeal with amazing berry compote - and of course eggs (but not the kind that shape to your spoon when you dish them out) ... it's like I stepped into a European gourmet cafe... but one that did not judge me when I went back for 2nds (uhm... maybe 3rds) ADVICE: If you're considering staying at one of the chains, because it'll be $50 or so cheaper... skip that, come here and enjoy the best "continental" breakfast you could ever dream up... and of course, ask for the see-through shower suite. I've stayed at Le Germain quite a few times now because of company trips, and I have to wholeheartedly recommend Le Germain to ANYBODY visiting Toronto. The reasons? 1. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are wonderful, the showers are unbelievable (modern rain showers with water that gets hot very quickly, sweet!) and the beds are even better. 2. The staff is amazing. Once I arrived for a trip for my company and realized that I didn't have a reservation. Tired and devastated, the hotel staff quickly jumped to my rescue. They called around the Toronto area to book me a room, and one member of the staff walked me to the hotel to make sure that I had a room. When I didn't, he escorted me back with many apologies. They finally booked me a room and had a car drive me. During my most recent trip, the front desk helped me coordinate a car to the airport. Once I arrived in the morning rather bleary-eyed to check out, a cheery staff member grabbed my bags and the car was already waiting for me. A+++++ for customer service! 3. The continental breakfast is one of the best ways to start the day. Yogurt, juices, muffins, cheeses - you name it, they probably have it. Their fruit is fresh and I love being able to sit down and refuel at the mezzanine area. The staff there is always friendly and brings a cup of hot coffee. If only I could find a boutique equivalent hotel in the US. Keep up the amazing work!! read more

Wow, this place definitely deserves a 4 or 5. I can't comment on the price, since I didn't pay for it. But its located in a nice area, just steps away from the restaurants on King St. If you're thinking of visiting Toronto, this is a good place to stay. The theatre district and clubbing area is just a moment away. The hotel room itself is nice, with a big comfortable bed, and room service all throughout the night. The shower was my favourite part. It has a huge shower head with low flow, so it feels like rain is gently pooring on your head. I wanted to stay in the shower for hours! The TV needs an upgrade, that is my only complaint. But it did not ruin my night in the slightest because it is still a fairly decent sized tv. Highly recommend this place. Derek read more

DO NOT STAY HERE. It's 2am and it's impossible to sleep. There's a crazy loud night club right out front with screaming obnoxious douchebags and an endless parade of taxis honking their horns. Long repeating horns. Over and over and over. This might be my favorite hotel in North America. It is completely sumptuous, with beautiful, luxe decor including the most delicious sheets on the planet; a fabulous library off of the lobby, filled with design books and free coffee/hot cocoa; delicious breakfast croissants; a roof deck strung with twinkly lights; and Bruce Mau-designed elevators. When my wife and I checked in, it looked like a train wreck at the front desk, but once it cleared, we began a wonderful five night stay. We immediately started at the concierge to plan our trip. She was extremely thorough, marking each potential spot on a map, recommending theater, galleries, restaurants and tourist spots. Once we had our reservations in hand, we were off to our room. Everyone comments about the shower, so I will leave that to your imagination. The room was well appointed with modern wood cabinets and closets. The bathroom was modern, with plush robes and a nice set of toiletries. The bed was extremely comfortable, which was ideal for us as we walked 10+ miles daily plus a bike tour the next day. We had a large area in our room as it was on a high floor. We had plenty of space to surf the Internet as we finalized plans for the next day. The free wifi was pretty spotty, but we were able to manage. The highlight of our stay was ... ( no, not the shower) the breakfast buffet. The service was spectacular. I was greeted each day with my special order, a pot of green tea and a cappuccino with soy milk. The food was fresh and looked great. I especially am fond of their sesame pumpernickel bagel and tasty jams. There were numerous fruit choices. Check out my review on the restaurant, Victors. We ate there twice. The hotel's location is great, on a quiet street one block from King. Second City is just down the block, the playhouses a block or two. Easy walking to Queen St or the Waterfront. read more

There seems to be an obsession with apples at this hotel. They were randomly placed everywhere - lining the halls, in the conference rooms, etc, but that's okay because this hotel is pretty awesome. Like many others, I loved the waterfall shower. The bathrobes were super fluffy. The bed was incredibly comfortable. If I were back in Toronto by choice, I would totally stay here again. On a side note, there were some well-known Canadian actors/comedians at the bar one night (as I was told by the crowd). At first I was excited but then I was like meh, its Canada, and went to sleep. read more

The waterfall shower, organic wood decor, separate rooms with door enclosures, HUGE bed, desk with a trendy light, HDTV, Bose stereo, complimentary 24-hr. espresso drinks availability in the library, and unsurpassed service are all part of the standard package. Plus, the Victor is downstairs and actually fulfills a room service orders. The library is lovely, with plenty of coffee-table books and local magazines, along with a full service espresso machine. The staff are incredibly friendly and will bend over backwards for you. Don't stay anywhere else if you're in Toronto. The stay here is an experience in and of itself. read more

Best hotel EVER! I have stayed in hotels all across North America and this boutique hotel is by far my favourite!! The decor is modern and everything is super posh down to the smallest detail. When you enter your room the lights are dimmed and there is classical music playing. Once you have settled in your room a concierge stops by to offer you welcome cookies- yum! When you return from dinner your bed has been turned down with a yummy chocolate on the pillow. Breakfast is covered in your room rate and includes fresh fruit salad, bagels, crepes, smoke salmon, juices and espresso drinks. If you have a short drive to work or the theatre ask to use the hotel car service, another complimentary service the hotel offers. This is the best hotel in North America, I have stayed multiple times and have never been disappointed. read more

You name me a place that will welcome you and a 70-lb mutt called Bear and treat you both like billionaires. Wherever you named, I bet you didn't think it was in downtown Toronto! It's not what I expected, that's for sure. Pet friendly places can be great, but they are rarely elegant. The Hotel Le Germain is a beautiful boutique hotel right in the entertainment district. Those Yelpers saying you're right across the street from a club are right, but if you're from a city the noise level is fine, really. If it's not, why not go clubbing anyway? It's not like you're sleeping. The continental breakfast on the mezzanine is epic! It's not always you feel like an epic breakfast, but if you do, this is it. Everything is still elegant, all fresh strawberries and good china and such, but if you want to feel like Audrey Hepburn before 10am this is about your only shot in Toronto. Staff took great care of us without being obnoxious. Sometimes you can totally tell when people are faking a fuss over your dog, but these guys were genuine, which is good because Bear is my buddy. They had treats and a bed ready for him in the room, and when we registered they gave me extra treats, because he's a big boy! At the same time they gave me an authentic welcome, the Hotel Le Germain gave me a dose of big city glamour and pampering, with their famous waterfall showers, their fabulous views, the bed I wanted to stuff in my duffel bag and make sweet love to at home, and the Victor restaurant. Okay, I have to tell you about that. First afternoon there I'd just come back from a walk around the area, somewhat deflated. Here I was supposed to be having a good time, and the first bar I popped into not only ignored me for ten solid minutes (there were only three or four people at the bar!) but when I asked for a Hendricks Martini the bartender suggested Stoli instead! And then when I finally got Tanqueray because they didn't have Hendricks, it was warm! I blocked out the name of the place or I'd have Yelped them but good! So I come in rather bummed with my first attempt at going out in Toronto, and got chatting with a nice couple in the lounge. They suggested that I try Victor, and I'm so glad that I did. When you want a really good drink and a sophisticated room in good company and instead you get ignored and then you get a really crappy drink from a guy who can't be arsed to learn the difference between vodka and gin ... well, I was ready for the night to change. They know their cocktails at Victor, they know how to look after you, and with just one Martini and one Manhattan they turned my night around. And I'm not telling you who ordered the Manhattan! I'm keeping him to myself! read more

Service was very good from anyone I interacted with. The bartender is exceptional. Burgers are pretty standard fare, but I was surprised how amazing this was. Clearly they use good ingredients and cooked it perfectly. If I wasn't concerned by my cholesterol level, I'd go for it again. My room is clean and well appointed. The bed was comfy. A wonderful birthday present two years ago..... what a nice hotel! It's central location is ideal for the tourist and it's gorgeous reception area is just the beginning of what's to come. The concierge is extremely accomodating and helpful as is everyone I came across. The rooms are spacious and the beds are like big fluffy cotton balls .... but for me the best part was the bathroom. There is only a glass wall that seperates the shower & bedroom and there is a huge shower head above you for the rainfall effect. The camode and bidet has its own seperate corridor (if u will). And they have Aveda bath & hair products which make it a spa experience everytime! read more

The location within the city was excellent and it was easy enough to get to where I was planning to go as a tourist. The staff was remarkable helpful with cabs, room service and many of the other over the top needs that came my way. The gym was useful, never got to use the spa, but all in all I would gladly stay here again if I ever ventured to Toronto, but I'm positive I will never go to this city again. Much love for Canada... Complete agreement with previous reviewer. This is one of the finest hotels I have ever stayed in, especially considering the price, which (even without my corporate discount) is cheaper than places like W or the Four Seasons. I stayed at the Le Germain in Montreal (separate review) and was so pleased there was one in Toronto. I have stayed here on 3 separate occasions, and the experience has never been short of excellent. The bright, open lobby features a large library and seating area with fireplace. As nice as this is, though, it is the rooms that are truly fantastic. Spacious rooms, featuring perhaps the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in (goose down comforters and super soft linens), are warm and inviting. You can tell a lot of thought went into the tasteful decor. The waterfall shower leaves you feeling refreshed. The mezzanine level features their meeting spaces and the breakfast servery, where you can get complimentary continental breakfast and made-to-order espresso drinks. Speaking of complimentary, you also get free wireless Internet and bottled water (which is exciting because most hotels would charge you $5 a bottle.) Victor, the hotel restaurant, appears to be one of the better restaurants in town. I've not eaten there, but have enjoyed expertly crafted cocktails (try the Old Fashioned or Sidecar) and whisky served by dram. read more

I swear, it's like the staff at Le Germain researched everything about me before my stay. Everything was perfect. The service was tremendous and everyone had a smile. The amenities were fantastic. The breakfast was stellar. I didn't go to the gym, but I'm guessing it was top notch. The one issue I had was that the TV was stuck on descriptive video. I only stayed here for one night, but thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and luxurious. Of course (as other reviewers have noted), the showers are outstanding. The beds are comfortable and the hallways are quiet. A great night's sleep! I also sat in the lobby for a while, and enjoyed the espresso machine, the luxury chairs, and the hotel restaurant. The breakfast buffet was very nice, but some warm foods would have been appreciated. Finally, the service was great at check-in, and throughout my stay. Wifi was free to guests, and fairly fast for a hotel. If you have the chance to stay here, go for it! read more

Truly impressed! Everything was spot on: The lobby was beautiful, each floor had impressive hallways with filtered water and apples at our disposal (our group had two rooms on different floors and each room and floor was consistently wonderful). The rooms were clean, modern and absolutely gorgeous. I really don't have a bad thing to report! The staff really made the experience amazing- everyone we encountered was pleasant and helpful- on several occasions the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were pleased with our experience. (They made three separate trips to grab things we had forgotten in our car which was parked in valet and even if they were slightly annoyed they didn't show it!) I was 100% satisfied with my stay here! The hotel is located in a great spot, and it was very easy for my sister and I to reach great attractions and restaurants nearby. The staff that work there are efficient and super friendly. The room that we had was super nice, spacious, and comfortable! I guess the only con would be the price you are paying, but in my opinion it is totally worth it! read more

i love this hotel. i've been here twice and each time - magical. i don't know what heavenly stuffing is in the mattress, pillow or comforter, but it's like a cloud of comfort and serenity. amazing. the rooms are gorgeous, there's nothing i can say that hasn't been said: very clean, great breakfast bar upstairs w excellent options and service, Aveda products, glass shower window, tub, green tea scented candles. blissful. i went to stay at the one in montreal and it's similar but not as good IMHO - no candle scent. read more

Very nice rooms with high ceilings and the nicest people in the world working here. Unfortunately I've now spent an hour trying with no avail to get their wireless to work after having it work quickly and easily yesterday. I've made three calls and everyone is very nice about it, but it's no help when I have to finish a paper using the internet for my business for a presentation that will take place in 3 hours and I am spending most of the time I have to work on it talking to people in the hotel trying to get the wireless to work. It's still crawling along at a basically unusable speed despite many nice words and hopeful plans. The other bad thing is at this point construction next door is very loud and apparently the truck backing up noise from construction is allowed to start at 7 AM because that's when it woke me up. It is a never-ending chorus of truck backing up sounds from a couple of different construction projects nearby. Had I known, I would stayed somewhere downtown where there was not loud ongoing construction. Doesn't look like it will end anytime soon, so if I were you I would look elsewhere through spring of 2016 and then see if the construction has ended before planning to stay here again. The room is costing me 250-350 a night for the week I am staying so its disappointing. But if there were no noise and the wireless was working it would be great Update: they connected me with a wireless specialist who said she would provide me with a specific access point based on my particular computer. That worked well for 15 minutes but half an hour later I am being booted off the network intermittently and it will take 3 minutes for a page to load if it will load at all. I wonder if all the construction is affecting things? Hard to say but I am now leaving my $300+ room in the rain to go work in a cafe with wireless. Not what I hoped for on this trip. read more
