Would you believe I'm most impressed by their shopping carts? They are the quietest and most smooth rolling shopping carts of any store I've ever shopped in. They even feel just right when you are holding on to them and steering them through the aisles. I don't know that I'd go so far as to say they are the BMW of shopping carts, but they give you a feeling of confidence as you push them through the store. The only thing I needed to do was pick up my laptop, pay, and sign, but this man (I wish I could remember his name) took over an hour and a half to complete this process as he was spouting straight BS that I assume he believed counted as rizz. It was 8:30pm and honestly this was the last thing I needed to be dealing with. He was telling me that I should be "impressed" because he's the only geek squad member on the east coast that's able to do this task, and that it's only his part-time job because he "works with models and actors in Hollywood", at which point I assume he expected me to be impressed. There was a lot more just absolute nonsense he was spitting, and I truly wish I had recorded the conversation because I'm still baffled by this dude's obvious play to get in my pants. FINALLY. We get the payment done and all of that squared away, at which point he tells me that the best buy number is on the receipt, and that he also included his ~personal email~ (not store associated, literally just a Gmail account) in case I wanted to reach out to him with "further questions". Needless to say, I threw that out before even leaving the store. Monday of Christmas week, there was ONE person working at a register. Christmas week! This is peak time for full shopping carts and gift cards, for which checking out at a register is preferred. The cashier just kept looking around as if to say, "Is anyone else coming?" Fortunately, I was only fourth in line (that's still bad enough). When I was finally at the register, she phoned for assistants, but by then, the line at this register was about 10 people and stretching into the main aisle. This is in addition to everything I wrote about years ago. Later in the day, I was at the Target in Saratoga/Wilton, where almost every register was active. The only reason I'll sometimes shop here is out of convenience, since it is the closest Target to me, and in a plaza with a few other stores at which I shop. But I'd pretty much prefer shopping at any other Target in the area when possible.
