David is excellent! Arrived on time, diagnosed my connectivity issues and explained everything in layman's terms, not geek speak. Did not sell me extra equipment, used exactly what I had to fix my problem. Nothing short of professional outstanding service.

Great guy. I had a couple of issues that I would expect someone with so much pride in his work to…read morehave handled differently. First: he accidentally broke an exterior light in 2 places but didn't tell me. I noticed it when I was looking at the fixture, which was completely smashed on two sides. I sent him a photo and he said he must have hit it with his ladder and offered to replace it. That's pretty difficult to miss hitting, but whatever. I asked if I could pay him to install another light that was broken on my front porch, of course I would pay for that. I ordered the light based off the part number. Partially my fault for not taking it out of the box to inspect it, but I had to leave the house and he installed the light. When I returned home I noticed the light was 2 times smaller than the other 2. I mean, wouldn't a professional ask a customer "did you notice the size difference", especially because it's so noticeable, before installing the light? My usual electrician certainly would have because it's his name and company reputation and he doesn't want something to look bad or be incorrect without reconfirming with me. Now I have to pay my usual electrician to uninstall the smaller light fixture and pay to have the correct size installed. I take responsibility on part of the issue m, but I expect more from people who take pride in their work and this issue impacted my overall satisfaction. Good job installing my Ring system. I've had a few issues with sensors installed incorrectly that I have been fixing myself. I won't use him again but I would recommend him, just double check his work before he leaves and don't expect any "extra effort" on his part. Definitely knows how to install the cameras and door locks and set up the Nest system. Zero issues there. Worked quickly and pleasant to work with. Trustworthy to leave alone in my house (which I'm usually weird about). So still impressed by him and most of the work he did for me.

The job turned out to be more complicated having to go through a stud and across rafters. He did an expert job with the hole repair patching and painting that I cannot tell where he opened the holes to pull the cable. He's clearly an expert in low voltage and how to work around obstacles that others would run away in fear. Highly recommend him for quality work at a fair price.

Jay has fixed our exterior doors that weren't contacting our weather stripping and sealing properly, as well as adjusting and (where necessary) replacing the interior doors that were poorly hung by the previous owner. He fixed our custom-built pantry shelves, in addition to adding another shelf, replaced baseboards, fixed an accent wall, added shelving to our laundry room, and installed overhead garage storage for us. The best thing about working with Jay, was that he had good input for us in helping to figure out what we wanted to do with our laundry room and to fix the broken design on our accent wall. When he was trying to figure out where to hang our clothes rack in the laundry room, he had the foresight to measure my arms to get a good sense of where to hang the rack since my wife wasn't around to say exactly how high she wanted it installed. Jay is super nice, reliable, and JSC's prices are reasonable. I highly recommend them for any handyman services you might need around the house.

I had an abundance of hardware that was both unnecessary, and not working as it should. If you're paying for high-speed internet (100+ mbps) and are getting far less, you owe it to yourself to get it working correctly. I called Electronic Minions for help troubleshooting my home network. They responded to my email on Friday, came out for a preliminary assessment on Monday, and completed the entire job on Tuesday. Harris (the owner) is a networking guy. He knows how to go about troubleshooting home or business networks. While he, like most other tech services, have preference on brands of products, he's transparent and honest. He diagnosed my issues, suggested a fix, charged me his cost for the hardware, and a reasonable cost for installation. He's prompt, knowledgeable, and will offer you options at varying cost that you can consider before signing below. Is it cheap? No. Should it be? Absolutely not. Our house has doorbells, cameras, phones, media players, TVs, game consoles, thermostats, and computers. Literally dozens of devices that rely on a fast, consistent signal. I feel like he charged me a reasonable price, will follow up to ensure that it works as advertised, and was open and honest in troubleshooting and offering a solution. Well done Harris, you did a very good job.

The fee I was quoted for it by EM was $250 flat. I thought that steep, it's about what I paid to have it all installed including the cost of the antenna 6 years ago by the now retired Cliff at Atlanta Antenna. While the chimney is on the second floor, it's accessible by climbing from the first story over the garage. Anyway, sent photos from the ground and was basically told it would be easier to replace the antenna for the $250 plus the cost of the antenna. What? Anyway, found someone used by a home theater installer and he did in 20 minutes for $150, closer to what I expected to pay Pros Got back to me fast Cons Price EDIT: The person who came and did the job, whose name I got from Franco at Smart TV Installation of Atlanta, quoted me $150 over the phone after I sent him photos.
